I had a similar experience as the one star reviewer stated, the owner of the Beechcraft King Air…read moreC90A. The corrosion removal was not done under the wings and fuselage of my airplane. I mentioned it to Marcelo 1 week after my mechanic discovered it. Marcelo responded "not to worry and the he'll take of everything at not cost". Then Marcelo delayed the scheduling for the rework on my airplane for months and eventually he informed me that he moved his business to Atlanta. That was a lie because a couple of weeks later he told me that he hasn't moved and that he is now out of business. Be aware of Marcelo Santos!!! I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere in Florida with a new business name that will perform at the same "quality" level that he has done in the past.

On March 8, 2022, I contracted Jet Aircraft Painting, LLC to paint Beechcraft King Air C90A. In…read morepictures, I noticed that the wings were covered and painted already while the fuselage was being stripped. This is very unusual, because it is usally done at same time. On August 6, 2022 this aircraft was picked up and stayed inside a hangar for maintenance for one year. While in hangar, the mechanics noticed that the paint on the landing gear started developing corrosion and blemishes started being noticeable all over the aircraft paint. We contacted the owner of the paint shop, Marcelo Santos and told him about these issues. He stated not to worry, he would take care of everything at no cost. Over a year passed, and after less than an hour of flight, the paint started pealing. The plane was flown back to Ft. Lauderdale, and after back and forth discussions, I paid mechanics to remove the wheels and jack the aircraft for them to paint it which cost over $1,000. I paid this to the mechanic shop, 305 Sky. Now the landing gear area was ok, but paint is chipping at other parts of the aircraft. I contacted Marcelo Santos again, July 26, 2024, at this time it has less than 6 hours from time it was painted, and I was told by Marcelo Santos not to worry, he would take care of it. On July 29th 2024, I notified him that the aircraft was there at Ft. Lauderdale Executive and that he could go and paint it at that time. He then asked if I would pay the painter to do so. I responded that I would not as this was his job that was done insufficiently. An aircraft should not be pealing paint in such a short period of time with only a few hours of flight. Meanwhile, I have another aircraft that the same thing is happening, but worse. This aircraft has never been flown, and the paint was coming off while the painters from Jet Aircraft Painting were taking the tape off the paint. This aircraft, Piper Cheyenne II was left to be painted July 6, 2023. I was told it would take about 2 months. For months I was given excuse after excuse as to why it was delayed. Only on October 4, 2023 was the aircraft stripped. It was primed on October 16, and it sat outside for over 6 months with primer on. The recommended time is 48 hours. By waiting so long with primer on, the paint does not stick. On April 2, 2024 this aircraft was painted and I was there that day. I saw the paint pealing off while they were removing the tape. I spoke with Marcelo Santos the owner, he again said, don't worry about it, I will take care of everything. He repainted those areas, and I was told it was ready to fly first week of June. On June 17, when the aircraft was picked up rubber pieces of the aircraft was loose and hitting the wing and the fuel tank on the air as well as more paint flew off the aircraft during the first flight. I contacted Marcelo Santos, same thing, "I'll take care of everything." Now again, Marcelo Santos asks me to pay for the retouch and repair of the paint. The aircraft costs money to fly to him, there is time lost while its sitting and not being used for 8 months, and it costs to do more maintenance on the aircraft due to time lapsing. Additionally, I was contacted by 305 Sky whom Mr. Santos contracted to remove and install control surfaces on the aircraft before and after painting and was told that Mr. Santos owes him over $2200 for this job. I recommend to stay away from Jet Aircraft Painting! The place is a complete mess, it looks like 3 different paint shops operated from same hangar. I am not even sure if they are actually painters or have proper work authorization.
