I was racing my child for emergency medical care and I simply had to tell them (out of courtesy) that I needed to cancel an appt I had due to the fact that I was literally racing my little girl to the ER. I call back, she asks to put me on hold again, I pleaded with her not to, she started arguing with me and yelling saying people are never on hold that long and she wouldn't stop arguing with me long enough to even let me say I was simply calling to cancel my appt due to the fact that I had to race my child to the emergency room. Usually the staff is very nice but this lady, who answers to phone all the time, was rude, argumentative and inappropriate. Shame on her. When someone is pleading and begging and in tears you don't yell at them! And I had been calling as a courtesy. Given I was headed to the hospital ER with my child I didn't need to call them but wanted to because that's what honest, good people do. I am so blown away by getting yelled at by the moody lady that sits at the very front. Completely changed my opinion of the place.

All things I was promised I would see results for. After two weeks, I started my period after 13 years and was very upset. I called and was encourage to allow the three months. I called another time because of other side effects that were opposite of what I was looking for. I then cancel before the three month follow up and the other half of the implant. I still was charged for several months and when I realized, I called to be told it would not happen again and that they could see I never received the other half. Here we are again this month and they are charging me. My husband spoke to Steve in billing who told me before that I would not see charges, now is saying I still owed for the whole implant. I was falsely encourage my the doctor and owner to try the implant for the first three months even after having second thoughts. I had a bad vibe then and spoke to my husband but being so desperate to feel better, went against my self and husband to do it anyhow. I paid almost $3000 in one payment and signed up that day. I started the 1st treatment. I didn't feel better. I felt horrible. I had the worst headaches I've ever had in my life. My heart was pounding out of my chest. My anxiety was through the roof. Still having episodes 10 weeks out. I had the 2nd set of blood work. I went in and was told My symptoms were from the testosterone and I shouldn't take it anymore. I have dilated cardiomyopathy and listed this on my intake form. After speaking to my Cardiologist I was told that Restorative Health should have never given me hormones and especially hormones that were inserted and couldn't be reversed. I wrote Ivette at Restorative Health and asked for a refund as I'm not able to continue treatment. It's been a couple of weeks and I still haven't received a refund. I paid $3000 up front on an American Express but when it's time to do the right thing and refund a patient that should have never been given the treatment, no refund. Don't go here. If you're paying, you'll get a lot of attention. The minute you stop, you're forgotten. Be careful. The hormone therapy isn't reversible.

Since 2006, the struggle began to find someone brave and funny enough to oversee my care for my adult life. After moving to Columbus in 2009, I had seen one, horrible, dreadful endocrinologist before almost completely giving up. At the suggestion of a cardiologist I worked for, he took one look at me and said, "I have the perfect recommendation for you. You will love her." Wow. I was blown away. Not only does Dr. Christofides care about your individual health plan (instead of treating you like every other patient), she was personable, out going, funny and dedicated to getting my health back on track. I must admit I have since disappointed her, by neglecting my health, but she is very understanding and forgiving.
