I'm currently growing out certain areas of my brows, so I specifically asked her not to take too much off, and she followed my request perfectly. I really appreciated how attentive and careful she was. The atmosphere was quiet, comfortable, and relaxed, and I didn't have much of a wait. There's plenty of seating for guests or anyone waiting for an appointment, which was nice since my fiancé came with me. They also have a small retail area where you can browse and purchase beauty supplies and other items. Overall, it was a pleasant, easy experience, and I'll definitely be returning!

Although the price is still the same and I believe the final product (the eyebrow threading) was done skillfully, I wouldn't reccomend this place anymore. First of all it's not clean anymore. There were discarded threads all over the floor and a pile of them in the corner. There were cotton balls with liquids on several surfaces including on the chair when I first walked in. And her kid is at the shop and very bored. She wants to play and talk while you wait. I understand the needs of taking care of her child, but it does negatively effect the professionalism of the store.

I recently went to Shila Eyebrow Threading and had a mixed experience…read more I got my brows threaded and added a tint. The shaping itself came out really nice -- I actually loved how my brows looked in the end. Clean, defined, and exactly the look I was going for. However, my main concern was with the tinting process. I was told the tint would be left on for about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30 minutes without any heads up or explanation. During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.

I've visited Shila Eyebrow Threading several times and have consistently received great service,…read morealways leaving satisfied with my eyebrows. However, during my most recent visit a few days ago, the usual staff who thread my eyebrows were either at lunch or unavailable. The lady typically at the front counter was the only one present and offered to thread my brows. I requested a simple clean-up, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. She was much rougher than usual--while threading can be uncomfortable, this time it was noticeably more painful. Additionally, she removed too much hair, resulting in unevenness at the top and bottom of the brow, as shown in the attached photo. I gave three stars because I'm generally pleased with the results, but based on my last visit, I feel she should remain at the front desk and leave threading to the other staff.

If you're looking for someone who really knows eyebrows, Khina is the place!!!! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my brows. I have been coming to Khina for over 15 years. Khina is the owner. She is gifted and beyond talented, one of one. She is the best of the best.... HOWEVER often times you find a place and you can only go to one person because that's the one person you trust BUT in this case there is so much talent I can use a different girl every time I come and they all know me and they're all great.  Occasionally, I have had to try other places only to confirm. There's only one Khina's.
