This place has great treats. My family tried the churros and churro sundae, banana split, and the flower shaped chips with the hot sauce on the side. All of them were delicious! The only difficulties we experienced was a slight language barrier-my husband said they told him 2 different prices for the flower chips but I think the cashier needed help from his coworkers because he didn't speak English. So many desserts, so little room in our stomachs after dinner at Carnitas La Cotorra (that's another review)! Churros, ice cream, flans, puddings, fruit cups, banana splits, the list goes on and on and on!! We were here on a busy night, but there was plenty of seating and the store was neat. We were in a pudding mood, so one of us ordered the pineapple and pecan pudding, and the other went with the old comforting standby, Mexican Rice Pudding. Elotes were BOMB AF ($4.25) for a mediano size but so worth it cause they are so generous with their condiments, and if you love cheese, they gave a generous helping of queso fresca. It was throughout and not just at the top or bottom. I loved the hot sauce they had too. I also ordered a chocolate filled churro which was so yummy as well. Will be coming back to try more things. Parking isn't bad, but the place was pretty crowded even though I went at 3pm on Monday. The guy who took my order spoke mostly Spanish, and although mine isn't great, he was very friendly about it and didn't make me feel weird about not being Hispanic. read more

We didn't go to the storefront but had La Super paletas sold from a freezer at Chicken Scratch. Mind. Blown. The kids kept calling them popsicles but this was not your typical popsicle. We tried Pina Colada, Cantaloupe, Vanilla, Lime. They were so good that everyone had a bite of their neighbors' paleta so we could try them all. It was chaotic when we arrived. The line to order, had no order. After coming to an understanding with fellow customers we looked at the massive menu. It's like Little Mexico. Anything you ever wanted is there. Ice cream, paletas, elote, chicharones, fresas con crema, piña loca, mangonadas, agua fresca, etc. We had fresas con crema and a paleta dipped in chocolate and almonds. The fresas were okay.
