My husband was the one who found this place on Yelp! After visiting a place like this in San Antonio I was convinced there would be somewhere in Dallas like it. We are into the Esquimals! You can choose any paleta, it's hand dipped in chocolate, and you can choose Cocoa Pebbles, Pecans, or Coconut as a topping! They are excellent :P I'm not even going to count it against them, but the ladies there haven't been too friendly. They do the minimum, but are getting the orders correct. I take my esquimals to go... read more

This little shop is a must stop if you are in the area. I am an elotes addict so I'm always willing to drive out of the way for a good cup. I found this place on yelp of course. They have various types of aqua fresas, ice cream and Mexican fruits cups and snacks. And of course elotes. The ladies are nice there and the serving is generous. Real fruits in their ice cream. One of my faves is coconut. I love tasting the coconut pieces while I eat their ice cream. I guess for my wrist line I'm glad this is far from my house! Lol read more

Came here craving an elote and I definitely got what I wanted. The elote was perfect! It had enough cheese and cream along with lime and chili powder. I also got a small fresas con crema and loved it! The cream was exactly how I hoped it would taste. The inside was very clean and neat too. It's was a little busy when we got there, so we had to wait a bit before actually getting our food. read more

-0 stars no wonder this place is always empty! The employees are rude and one of the girls started and argument over my 2 year old daughter not wearing a mask! I told her she was under 3 and by law didn't have to wear a mask and she said well other kids wear a mask so she can to! I told her she had asthma and she couldn't wear it but insisted she had to wear one. So we left without my kids getting their ice cream Horriblr customer service read more

Amazing snacks! The remind me of my hometown El Paso Texas. I'm fluent in Spanish and I'm extremely comfortable carrying a conversation in Spanish however the staff was extremely rude! They aren't very welcoming at all and served my food with an attitude. read more

This is a great little ice cream shop. They have delicious ice creams and Mexican snacks. The folks at the shop are super friendly and will let you try the flavor before you buy. My fave horchata of all DFW since I discovered this establishment months ago. Ice creams are delicious af (Idk any other place that sells "mango chamoy"), more so when you request they add liquid chocolate (it hardens instantly once added). Sundaes are bomb. Oh and I forgot: I HAVENT SEEN ONE (1) white person in all the times I've been here or to their Lewisville location! Badass read more

*FOOD POISONING*! Last night April 8, I came here to La real. I purchased some nachos and some fresas. I would say about 20 minutes later or less my whole body started aching/cramping. When I went to bed I had chills and was shaking hysterically. At 4 am I woke up to vomit the nachos. One of the lady's there is very rude too, which has only been there recently. I've been a customer for about a year but come on. I almost got wasted by some nachos. read more

This place is always very clean, the fruit is always fresh, their elotes are very tasty, and their agua de pina colada is THE BEST! The staff has always been very friendly! By far my favorite Fruteria around the neighborhood! read more

This place has great things, the agua frescas and everything is great but the customer service is bad the girls that work there always have a rude face on and at first I let it slide but it's constantly you always go in there and it just ruins your mood because they are all so rude and have a bad face on and they don't talk to you unless you talk to them. Definitely not going back read more

Love the corn in a cup. I'm such a picky person when it comes to corn because I'm always comparing the flavor to the ones in California and this place finally satisfied the flavors I love. The cup is huge and i love that they put cream and cheese in the middle as well as the top. I will be coming here any chance I get. Only took off a star because the day I went there was no menu or anything. Not sure if it was just bad luck or? But it was inconvenient. read more

The snacks there are so yummy! But everytime I go the stuff always have bitch faces and it just kills the mood.

Second best corn I've tasted in the DFW area. Message me to know the first one since I can't seem to find it on Yelp. Anyway, it's delicious. They serve very generously and it tastes great. Just the right amount of stuff in it and that's always what you look for when getting corn. It is made fresh, not canned corn. I also like their chocobananas (get the one with sprinkles) and the Squirt rusa is very refreshing and satisfying. Bring cash if you don't plan on spending more than $5, because that is the minimum you need to pay with card. read more

This place is like ice cream heaven. They have a variety of different kinds of ice cream here. I really enjoy their fruit paletas!

This is a neat place. There are aa little pricey for a Mexican paleteria but they put a lot of work on their product worth every penny. They owners are really friendly and helpful. read more

Good food for a good price! The lady did very well on explaining everything for us first timers! Going back!

This place was great. We stopped in after dinner for a dessert. The Ice Cream and bars are all made locally. The three of us had a scoop of Strawberry cheesecake ice cream, chocolate ice cream, and a pineapple fruit bar. All of them were delicious. They have tons of uniquely Mexican flavors, and we were allowed to sample any of them that we wanted. Watch out for the Chamoy it's spicy. :D read more

This is my boyfriend and I's go to place for smoothies! Their elotes are amazing and I love how the lady let me decide how much of the chili powder sauce I wanted. My boyfriend got a vanilla churro that was hot and delicious. I recommend the choco banana but the sprinkles fall off everywhere. Overall the service is great and everyone is very polite, its a cute little store and we'll definitely be back! read more
