This place is great. Family run business, I've been using them for over 10 YEARS and I have heavy dry cleaning loads (used to wear a suit and tie every day). They do a wonderful job, are scrupulously honest, and have some of the best pricing I've found in the area. They'll also do minor tailoring repairs. They'll do plastic, fold, or just a reusable bag (which I do to cut down on plastic). Could not recommend them more. Even though I now live in Redmond and work in Seattle... I still come to Palazzo for my dry cleaning. I've tried others, but I always come back to Palazzo because they're the best. read more

Absolute rip off. I will never go back. The ticket said I could pick up on Monday. I went in and she said it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday. So I had to make two trips, very annoying. I recently got a dress hemmed here and they did a great job! I couldn't even tell it had been hemmed just looking at it. They quoted me a fairly high price (compared to other places I've been to) but ended up charging me less. My only complaint is that they told me they'd call me once it was done so I waited around all day, finally called myself and they told me it had been done for a couple hours which was a little weird. They still did a great job, you may just need to follow up with them to confirm it's ready for pickup! read more

Beware: The Man here is a crook! You should have your business card pulled for unethical business practices. I called the store saying I had 4 women's button up shirts and I needed same day pickup. He said $2.50 each and yes same day pickup. When I got there, he said each shirt was $6.00 because they were women's shirts, and NO same day pickup even though I arrived 10 minutes after I called. When I told him what he said on the phone he insisted I was wrong. Hmmm.... Fast forward to pickup day, he then moves prices to $7 a shirt. When I tell him again this was the same thing he pulled before, he raised his voice and yelled at me that he would never say $6. You are a sleazy man. This is the best dry cleaners in downtown Bellevue. They do an impeccable job with both laundry and dry cleaning. While Palazzo is a bit more expensive, I trust them with even the most delicate items. Palazzo also offers alterations - this too this do very well and very reasonably. Everyone who works here is extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Each time I have a big order to pick up, the lady at the counter always offers to help me take it to the car. Now THAT is service! This review is based off of pricing. I've lived in the PNW for about a year now and this is my first time using the dry cleaners. Since I travel for work every month, my coats needed some good TLC and I needed to find a place near my house in Bellevue. I had come in with two coats for regular dry cleaning and I was charged $54! What an absurd price to be paying. I didn't get anything fixed, just a simple dry clean. By the time I had come in to pick up my two coats, I was shocked to see my price and told the lady I won't be coming back. Buyers, please make sure to ask the price first before leaving them with your clothes. That was a mistake on my end that I should'v done. read more

I like Palazzo Cleaners - they are very friendly and they have good customer service. Although I use another place for my main dry cleaning needs, I do use Palazzo for laundering my husband's work shirts. Their dry cleaning prices are just like all the other Bellevue Cleaners - pretty high. The time we did have our dry cleaning done there though, it came back perfectly clean and fresh. Their shirts are competitive at $1.70 per shirt which is reasonable when my husband needs his shirts quickly. We like having 2 places to drop of his shirts and Palazzo is our go-to spot when we want a quick drop and pick-up. They do a great job with all of it. read more

I had been going to Aloha for 5 years and finally had enough. I'm a very forgiving customer, but I've had too many shirts lost and the prices were always high at Aloha. I moved to Palazzo about a year ago and have had ZERO problems combined with amazing customer service in that time. If that wasn't enough, their prices are lower than Aloha and I've never lost a shirt. If you need drycleaning in the downtown bellevue area, Palazzo is the place to go. Owners of this place steal people's money and trust in good service. Unfortunately, you pay for nothing; they will not clean your clothes. Here is my story. I brought a white blouse with a coffee spill on the left sleeve and a white man t-shirt with a sauce spot in the chest area. The nice lady took my order and promised that everything would be like new. She assured me that it won't be a problem to clean my clothes. I left the place being confident that I would get what was promised. I was so naive... When I came back to pick up my blouse and t-shirt none told me that they were NOT able to clean my clothes. Reception lady (who is also an owner) just gave my stuff to me and said that I need to pay $18 I checked the blouse and t-shirt. Spill and spot were still there. NOTHING changed. Yes, I was mad because I don't understand WHY I had to pay for the work that wasn't done. It's like paying for uncooked food in the restaurant. Nope, it's even worse... it's like throwing your money into trash bin. Money YOU earned because you did your WORK perfectly or at least at a good level. Do you know what the lady told me at the end? "YOU HAD TO PAY, MY HUSBAND TRIED SO HARD TO CLEAN IT. IT IS NOT HIS FAULT". Seriously? It's your business and your job... p.s. Later I bought a special whitening soap and cleaned the blouse and the t-shirt by myself. I didn't even tried HARD. It was EASY because I had the right tool. read more

Got one my dress shirts back with severe fraying on the collar, and a tear near the tag. Owners will not take responsibility for any of the damages and says it's because my shirt is "too old." Then they said it was because the sweat eats the fabric...I've worn the shirt less than 10 times and have dry cleaned it less than 5 times. I find it hard to believe this $150 dress shirt can only handle 10 wears and 5 washes. Should have read the horror stories below before I brought my clothes here. Never again. read more

This placed ruined my $800 coat which I got 2 months ago and refused to even apologize for it. Here are the details: I took in 4 pieces last week based on the glowing reviews here on yelp. I took 2 silk blouses, a sweater and a coat. I was surprised that they they just asked for a name and phone number when I dropped them off, I asked them if they needed me to explain what I wanted and they said no, that they would check the clothes. The blouses came out good, the sweater ok, but my coat... The coat has suede trimmings on the neck, the belt and the sleeves. They are pretty visible but apparently they didn't bother to see the coat at all. They dry cleaned it like they would a normal wool coat and the BLACK suede trimmings look extremely worn and are an uneven light gray color. When I saw what they had done to my coat I asked what had happened. The lady said it was normal for worn clothes to look like that. WHAT? my coat is almost new and not worn a lot at all. She got REALLY angry (keep in mind I was very calm as I wanted a solution and not to get into a screaming match) and she said that is how suede looks if it is dry cleaned and that they would have charged me $8 more to have another procedure done to it. Hmmm are you kidding me!? of course I would have paid $8 extra to have my coat cleaned PROPERLY. She went ahead and called her husband to the front of the store. The husband was much nicer and explained they usually send suede and leather products to be cleaned somewhere else and half admitted they did not look at the garment before just dry cleaning it normally. After he admitted this, I asked it something could be done and he went to the back to get his wife. He did not come out again. The wife said I had two options: leave with my coat as is or have her "try again". I asked her "try again what?" I mean, the coat was clean but ruined. She would just keep saying over and over "try again", I asked her if she would use the same procedure and she said yes. Then I asked "wouldn't that make it worst?" and she said (shocker) "yes". WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD SHE OFFER THIS? My friend was with me when this happened and he said well she shouldn't have to pay for this but I immediately said I didn't need them to refund me $20 for ruining my $800 coat. Even then the woman at the counter threw her arms up in the air as if she had discovered that I wanted the cleaning for free all along and was just trying to scam them or something (yeah I really need those 20 dlls... not). I ended up walking out after this and will need to look for a leather specialist to fix my coat. I was never offered an apology, a partial payment for my coat or even the refund of their failed cleaning service. Bottom line: NEVER BRING SPECIAL OR EXPENSIVE ITEMS HERE. IF THEY RUIN THEM, THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE. read more

I've been coming here for over 7 years since it's right down the street from my condo. It wasn't until I tried different cleaners that I realized that I've been getting ripped off this entire time. They charge $2 for a standard wash and machine press for a dress shirt. A fair price if that's what they actually charged me. They always end up charging me an extra dollar or two for a myriad of reasons - shirt is too slim for the machine press, the "modern" design with the two front pockets is harder to press, etc. and I've always paid up no questions asked because I assumed this was standard and they were honest people. Last monthI came in to pick up 2 shirts and got an invoice for $13. The reasoning was that one of the shirts had an emblem on the front which made it much more difficult to press so they somehow determined that charging 3x the normal price made sense. On top of that, they applied the same price to the other shirt which was a completely normal, standard dress shirt. While they agreed to remove the extra charge on the second shirt, they refused to do it for the first shirt even after i told them I would not be returning after being a regular customer of 7 years. Since then I have dropped off the same shirt at a different dry cleaner and was charged a mere $1.50. If you do decide to come here, make sure you get a price quote from them when you drop it off. There is no documentation anywhere regarding the price exceptions they charge me, I believe they just arbitrarily pull random numbers depending on the day. It's extremely disappointing that they would treat a loyal long time customer like this. read more

I've been going to Palazzo Cleaners for almost a year now; I usually go here to drop off my dress shirts/pants to be dry-cleaned and pressed. They are always returned to me looking great, and on schedule. I even had them dry clean a couple of neckties (I know, big no-no), and they were able to remove the water, and oil stains. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of work and service given. They even take back the stack of hangers for reuse that I have collected from all of the dry cleaning I do with them, which is always nice. For general-purpose business casual clothing that needs to be cleaned and pressed, give Palazzo Cleaners a try. Oh, couple of tips 1. Viewing the building entrance/signage can be obstructed by the trees, it's right next to a Subway Sandwich place. 2. There's very little public parking here - I usually just park in the "Bellevue North" lot (right next door to the West, where there's Panera Bread) and cross the street. I've been to palazzao's twice. this place is unbelievable! the lovely couple who own the place is so refreshingly honest and kind. Now, regarding the work they did. I spend a lot of money on my clothes and am hesitant to take them to different places... So when I bought a really expensive suit that was difficult to alter i was skeptical. I took it to palazzo.... The suit has an amazing fit and looks amazing, every time i wear it it I get comment on the tailoring.. They did the most incredible job. I got ripped off here. Submitted 3 shirts and 2 pants for standard laundering and they charged me $30 (originally $36, but I got a "discount" ). I've never been charged this much for standard wash and press. Apparently my shirts were too small to be machine pressed so they went ahead and hand pressed them which resulted in the up charge. No dry cleaner has ever said that to me before. Definitely not coming back nor recommending to my fellow traveling colleagues. read more

I've used Palazzo Cleaners for 2 months and everything looked ok. But last time, I asked to clean spot on kid's shirt. They couldn't cleaned the spot, but ask to pay for that $6.87!!! That's rip-off!
