With that said, trying to schedule A Covid test is like trying to get a last minute hair appointment on New Years Eve- it ain't happening! I finally found a few appointments available at this location, so I booked on line. The process was great- they send you an email with the confirmation and instructions. When you drive into the parking lot, the instructions state to follow the signs and not to enter the store (makes sense!); there was visible signage that directed you to the drive up window. When it is your turn, you show your id and confirmation email, they check their records and confirm your identity. They tell you how to self administer the nasal swab and pass the test kit to you in a container they place in the telescoping window- all the while they clean and disinfect the window, the box and the entire area in you view. After swabbing your nose according to the instructions provided, you place the applicator inside a vial with liquid and screw the cap on, place it in the ziplock baggie and back into the tray and the the window. You get your test results via email anywhere within three days; this was not the rapid test but they so administer both here. I was impressed that with everything they have to do for these tests, my schedules apply was only late by five minutes or so- this is pretty good!

This has happened with multiple family members multiple times. Once with an infection that required antibiotics and another that was antivirals. These are medications you should not be waiting days for. These need to be started immediately! When it's finally available it takes forever to pick up because the lines outside and inside are terribly long. Usually only 1 person at the checkout handling a long line of people. CVS in El Paso is much better and faster always.

We usually deal with the same pharmacist, an older male. I wish I knew his name but I don't. He's usually the only one who's there. He's very helpful on which products I should buy. He knows and understands some English. We speak to him in Spanish since it's easier to communicate with him. I came here with my mom a few weeks ago to get antibiotics for a toothache. The meds are always cheaper here than in El Paso. I also had to get some pain/fever reducer and another medicine my dentist prescribed. It was $36 and change for 3 or 4 different prescriptions. My mom also got some wrinkle reducer elixir of some kind for $15. That's a steal for this kind of product. The best part about this pharmacy is...they give you a few mini empanadas every time you buy something! They're always delicious and taste fresh. The empanadas are usually pineapple. Honestly, this is one of the main reasons why we come here. They're a little treat to snack on as you wait on the bridge to cross back over to El Paso. Oh and another good thing is...they take American money and even have change for it. That's pretty rare in Juarez. Usually when you pay with American dollars, they'll give you your change in pesos. Most places won't take a U.S. credit or debit card. If they do, they'll charge you a huge fee to use it. It's best to have U.S. dollars or go to an exchange place. At the same time, my area was under a hurricane warning, and the river near us was overflowing. I did not feel safe driving in those conditions, as I become very anxious when driving in severe weather. I noticed that delivery was available and that I should receive my medication by Friday. I had enough medication to last a few days, so I felt this was the best option. I also felt that using a delivery service would be safer than driving my own vehicle in those conditions. Friday came, and my medication had still not arrived. I contacted chat support through the website, but they were unable to help, so I called the pharmacy directly. I was eventually connected with Arletta, a senior technician. Unfortunately, I have rarely experienced such rude and dismissive customer service. Her attitude was so upsetting that my husband became extremely frustrated and ultimately had to leave the room toward the end of the conversation. When I asked Arletta where my medication was, she told me that USPS had never picked it up. I asked why, since USPS is presumably at the store regularly, my medication had not been given to them. She responded that she did not work for USPS and that I should contact them. I explained that I needed my medication and asked whether the pharmacy could make sure it was picked up the following day. She told me that it might not be picked up until Monday. I said that I understood, but I also wanted a refund for the delivery service since the medication had not been delivered as promised. At that point, her tone became even more hostile. She said, "Your medicine can't be that important because you didn't pick it up." That comment was completely inappropriate and deeply upsetting. The circumstances surrounding my decision to use delivery were not a matter of convenience; there was severe weather in my area, and I did not feel it was safe to drive. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that no supervisor would be available until Tuesday. I understand that delays can happen and that the pharmacy may not have control over USPS. My concern is the way this situation was handled. I was simply trying to obtain medication that I needed while making what I believed was the safest choice given the weather conditions. Being spoken to in such a dismissive and disrespectful manner was unacceptable. I am asking that this interaction be reviewed and that someone from management follow up with me regarding both the delayed delivery and Arletta's conduct during our conversation. Customers who are seeking help with their medications should be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect.
