This was one of our favorite restaurants in Azores with great service and very nice "eco-looking" decor. We only knew about it because our UTC tour stopped here for our lunch spot.
We had a 3 course meal starting with homemade bread and fresh island soft cheese with some nice red sauce. Since there was a party of 8 of us, they brought us 2 platters with tuna steak and veal, marinated roasted potatoes and veggies (see pic). For dessert we had a fresh fruit salad. Dinner is served with bottled water and choice of wine, beer or juice/soda and always finished off with your choice of coffee or expresso should you desire. We had decaf :)
As with everything on the island, most food is fresh, locally sourced and healthy which we loved (no GMO or factory farming here!). The prices are sooo budget friendly here compared to what you get in the US especially drinks, water and small plates.
While most meals include meat and seafood, they are always able to accommodate vegetarians and vegans if you ask. read more
