    Freshly made churros

We were able to book via Marriott Hotel Points, this truly was a nice & free stay. As you walk into the lobby notice there are air purifiers which is great considering all the air born pollutants & diseases. The staff acknowledges, welcomes you & makes you feel at home. There is ice cold water in the lobby as in most hotels in Spain. The rooms are clean, easy usb on both bed sides, wash cloths, various hooks on bathroom, storage hooks & a way to dead bolt & lock your bedroom door. Each of the rooms comes with air purifier as well. The breakfast available each morning, was absolutely amazing & fresh. Various fruits, from avocado, watermelon to various hams & cheeses. Fresh eggs made to order, along with pancakes & churros. Definitely stay here again

The Palacio is nestled under the Autograph Collection of Marriott Hotels, with each hotel having its own story. It is a small boutique hotel, and truly beautiful inside. There's so much that draws your eye, yet nothing clashes - it's all complimentary of one another. Approximately 8 minutes to walk to the Central Public Market of Valencia, the Palacio is centrally located just off Carrer de Colón, in the heart of the city. A walk to the nearest tube station, Xativa, will take you 5 minutes or less. And yet our room was surprisingly quiet, even though we were just a street away from the main drag. Rooms aren't massive, and we are lucky to have one on the fifth floor. We were just by the lifts, but again, with about 10 rooms per floor, things are pretty quiet overall, and they clearly do a good job of insulating walls, etc. Only nit would be there are no carpets, so you may occasionally hear a chair being dragged across the floor. Our room had high ceilings, a big walk in shower, separate toilet room, a wonderfully supportive and comfortable bed, plus a bench for luggage or putting on shoes, sides tables and and small dinette. I have to note we were there during a heatwave (end of May 2022) and the air conditioning on in our room was incredible! Breakfast is served in the bar each morning. And what a wonderful offering they have! Our breakfast was included with our room. And it was a highlight of our day. The staff were simply lovely - so very obliging and friendly. Thank you, Nicolette, for making our mornings perfect! All in all, a wonderful stay. We felt welcomed as guests, tended to, and we will definitely be back if ever in Valencia again!

For the València leg of our trip, we opted to stay at the Westin Valencia…read more The first thing you'll notice is how beautiful this hotel is. The service from start to finish was top tier and they did everything to make us feel welcome during our stay. We arrived around 1pm and we were able to get our room right away. The rooms here are massive. We had a king bed room, and it was more than enough space for two of us. With separate living room and bedroom area it was such an amazing place to rest after each day of exploring. The room feels a little bit on the older side, with the fan making a loud noise that we just got used to. There's not an electronic thermostat so we had to run the fan on max to keep the room cool. We didn't really use any of the amenities or the restaurant on-site because we wanted to explore the city with the 3 days we had here. They are renovating the gym, but they have a partnership with the gym across the street, which is available to use if you need it. Aside from the hotel, I think the location was perfect for us. We were a 20-minute walk in any direction from all the main sights and restaurants we wanted to explore. The hotel itself is quiet and far enough away from high traffic areas, so it was peaceful and serene throughout. Overall, loved our stay and honestly sad to leave because we loved Valencia and wish we had planned to stay more days here. Would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting the area.

The mattress was not great. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace which ended up having a high wall blocking any view... kind of like a prison yard. The breakfast and restaurant were fine, but not exceptional. I should have paid more attention to the previous comments about the considerable distance to the tourist areas/things you'd want to see and experience on a two day visit. Let's just say we got a lot of steps in over the course of two days. All in all, nothing terrible happened, but we had higher expectations for a five star Westin.

We had a suite with a bedroom, living room bathroom. The window in the living room did not open but the one in the bedroom did. No USB outlets so we bought an electrical adapter with 3 USB plugs. They gave us 2 twin beds that were pushed together. The beds were very comfortable and firm. The water pressure was a bit low and the bath tub required you to raise your legs about 2 feet to enter. Not conducive for the elderly or handicapped. The entire suit had 1 trash can and no tissues. Pro Tip: The entrance has about 5 steps up so you need to use the elevator on the right side of the entrance to bring up your luggage. However, you need to enter the lobby and send the elevator down to the street level. Or you can ask the front desk clerk to help you with that. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were magnificent. A big shout out to Maria and Mariam in the lounge. Super friendly and professional. Each glass of wine comes with a tapas and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is $15/ person. Nothing special. Typical eggs, small array of hams and cheeses, some parries, bread and espresso/ coffee machines. I would save the $15 and spend it on better food outside the hotel. Overall very good experience. We would stay there again. Happy Traveling!!

Front desk staff are very nice and spoke English. the location definitely is an extremely central to all stuff in Valencia that you may want to do but walkable or a quick taxi ride to everything.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating -- truly on par with what I've experienced at the Waldorf in Rome and Amsterdam, and in some ways, even better. Our room was on the smaller side (a standard room), but it was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were just right. What really set this stay apart was the attentiveness and warmth of the staff -- they made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, tucked into a lovely part of Valencia with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. When I return to Valencia, this will be one of the first hotels I check for availability. Highly recommended.

Specifically Chiara, she and the rest of the staff are continuously trying to deceive guests by vague pricing and vague descriptions of rooms. I was charged €184 for only a few pieces of laundry. Chiara literally told me it was my fault for not knowing the prices, even though they required a document to fill out for the laundry, because I didn't do it, they filled it out for me and charged me a ridiculous amount. Meanwhile as I'm arguing the charges, there's an older couple next to me that is arguing that they booked a room with a balcony, Chiara said to them that not all rooms have a balcony and even though it has a picture on the reservation doesn't mean they will get the room they want. This place will deceive you and cheat you out of money. Don't go.

The hotel staff is friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The rooms: Fairly self service but they're a unique departure from your standard hotel room and are beautifully acclimated to the environment. No fridge or ice or vending, but it would be a disservice to have these amenities as it would conflict with the aesthetic. There is AC and plenty of markets around the corner for your needs. The location: Ideal. Literally around the corner from Plaza de Virgen but you'd never know it as the hotel itself is quiet and discretely tucked away. Great walking city so location is a must and I felt consistently that Ad Hoc Carmen was an ideal starting and ending place for seeing the most of the city. Hundreds of great restaurants - Pappardella was a favorite. The staff: Friendly and super helpful. Personalized experiences where they help you to make the most out of your time in Valencia.
