The theater is small but the screen appears very large and the sound quality is good. This is a great resource for the community and for the tourists that visit. We googled dusk times, and it said around 8 PM, so to be safe we went around 6:30 PM. There's something nostalgic about Anacortes Cinemas compared to what I'm use to. No assigned seating, concessions in the front with a classic theater vibe. Was the experience flawless? No (lines for prepaid tickets, concessions, and new tickets was the same line - at least when we went which made it feel understaffed) but the experience overall was a good one. We saw Moana 2 and while this isn't a review space for the movie itself, it did help that the movie was good. Well located with some local shopping in walking distance I would definitely recommend stopping by when visiting Anacortes.
