She did ask often about pressure and that was good but overall, I think it did more damage than it helped. I went in for pinched nerve pain and two days later, I was in the same condition all over again. The pain never really abated and I now have to pay for another massage from someone I hope is better.

Authentic awesome Chinese massage! This is not the sketchy tinted windows asian massage type place…read more- you know what I'm talking about. I'm so glad we stumbled onto Oriental Massage! It's located in a very empty mall, and owned by a lovely, professional Chinese couple. Prices are on point! If you're not familiar with Chinese massage, they do a super deep massage- you will be beaten (in a good way) and feel amazing after. You are fully clothed and behind a screen, so out of view from general mall people. Be open about how much pressure you want and whether you have particular sore areas. *Side Note: I'm currently going to Moffitt for cancer chemo treatments and this is my new "cheer up" activity on my treatment days. They are very careful with me to do light pressure and work around my neulasta sticker etc. My sister asked for the "regular" super deep Chinese massage and said it was just like her massage person in China, where she lives!

Hippi spa was nearby so I thought I stop in for a quick, upper body massage. Paid for half an hour. Rose was the masseuse. Excellent!! Usually I have to ask the masseuse to either press harder or softer but Rose was spot on. And she found those little knots in the muscles of my upper back and neck and kneaded them out. The neck pain is nearly completely gone now. If the pain returns, I will go right back and ask for Rose again. Five stars for Rose and Hippi spa. I left a nice tip.

Jamie *eliminated* back pain that 3 different previous masseuses had failed to remedy over the past…read moremonth. My left upper back and all around my upper spine and neck had been killing me. Unlike any other masseuse I've ever visited, Jamie took some time to analyze the problem before solving it. I don't know what magic he did, but it worked, and I'm so grateful! Note: Jamie is now a sole practitioner, and the reception area (a space shared, it appears, by a few different offices) does not look like the picture here on Yelp. But don't let appearances deceive you: this masseuse is the best.
