We also asked for a quote on our hood latch release, as it was no longer able to pop the hood. They completed and passed the inspection, and gave us a quote for something like $400 for the hood release. I'm handy and that quote seemed ridiculous, so we declined the extra work and I said I'd do it myself. Less than a month after getting the car back, the front brakes started to grind. We're talking metal on metal. How is this possible? They just looked at it and should have failed it for pad depth, or at least *warned* us about it. I've attached photos to show the blatant neglect and disregard for safety (and the law). I highly doubt they looked at anything if they missed something so brazen. As for the hood latch, my lazy self finally got around to doing it. The only issue was a $11 bracket being bent. The whole mechanism didn't need to be replaced, but they wouldn't know because they didn't look at that either. Looking at all these positive reviews is perplexing. As someone who does all their own car maintenance and basic repairs, this is the most dishonest experience I've ever had with an auto shop. Since the business seems to be monitoring the reviews page, the car was a 2016 Kia Optima on 6/16/2022, owner's initials are BB.

He diagnosed the problem and special ordered and expedited the parts from Europe which arrived a couple days later. He and Dave came out and prepared the engine for the parts replacement so when the parts arrived they were installed expeditiously by Tyler and Dave. What caused the damaged parts was still unknown so once the engine was operational Tyler and Dave continued again into late hours to find the problem. Finally, it was an incorrect small brass fitting that another mechanic had used in the past which had a hair line crack in it that allowed air into the fuel filter. Lucky, he had the Volvo part for replacement. He checked the other engine and we replaced that brass fitting as well because you could see the crack forming. While they both were in the engine room they noticed transmission fluid leaking from solenoid seals in the PODS. They asked and I had them replace those as well. I ran the boat for 6 hours across Lake Ontario and it ran beautifully. Thank you Tyler and Dave for your determination to get me running as quickly as possible and by the why the pricing was reasonable and fair. Sincerely, Joe

I took my 1990 Crown bus conversion in for an inspection and to have the fluids and filters changed for the tranny and the engine. I supplied all of the fluids and filters, as a Detroit diesel takes a specific type of oil. When I returned the next time I was handed a list of 9 items that the tech said would fail the bus, and an estimate of $10,000 to make it road worthy.The first thing on the list was that I had no brake lights. Not true, the tech did not know enough to release the parking brake to check the operation of the brakes. Next was the wipers which he said were inoperative on the Passenger side. I came out, took a video of them operating and showed it to Cole the service writer.This precipitated my questioning of the remainder of the items on the list. I proceeded to look up the remaining things on the list and found that half of the items were not required by the DMV. When the tech was confronted with this information his response was for Cole to look it up himself and if I came back he would fail it for those items. While I had the bus home waiting for a call from Tyler, I happened to open the lower bay and found all of my engine oil and filters. They had replaced my oil with something else which is potentially harmful to a Detroit Diesel.My confidence in Moriarty's assessment of the bus was next to 0 and I asked to talk to the owner Tyler. It took almost 5 days for him to call me. During the call there was no apology for the mistakes made by his tech that had caused me great expense and time to rectify. Instead I got excuses and a diatribe on how he wasn't sure he wanted to keep working on buses as he spends a lot of time giving estimates and then people take it somewhere else and he couldn't run a business that way. In the end I said how do we move forward from here? I was told to make an appointment with Cole for when Tyler would be there and he would put the bus in the air and go over the items with me. I did this with Cole and the appointment was two weeks down the road. I said I would drop the bus off on Sunday  and that I would return Monday morning when they opened the door at 8 oclock to meet with Tyler and review the issues with the bus. This arrangement was well documented with texts from Cole and me. I returned at 8 am Monday. Imagine my consternation when I was told that Tyler was not available to put the bus in the air and review it. I said I wanted to talk to Tyler but was told on two occasions he would not come out to talk to me. I told Cole to change my oil and filters, and to credit my account. After waiting 4 days and hearing nothing I called and got no answer. I soon got a text from Cole that he would call me in 5 min. It was only with this prompting that the bus was pulled in and the oil was going to be changed. This was Thursday and I told Cole I would be out Friday morning to get my keys and a receipt for the refund and that I would be picking up the bus Sunday and that I was done with them. I have never been treated this way from a business that I was about to hand over $10,000.

It's great to have someone to work on your car that is trustworthy, (ie no more dealership/stealership work, thank the gods... Dorschel can go....). Enzo will say "special for you" but he means, I will charge you triple what labor and parts actually are....BE CAREFUL!!!! READ YOUR INVOICE CLEARLY!!! I was charged hundreds of dollars for TWO car shampoos, and he charged me for washing my car after the paint job was striped with VINYL which I SAID NOOOOOOO to!! He allowed my car to get ruined and now I have to pay to straighten my paint lines and remove vinyl which is peeling off. BAD BUSINESS...He refuses to refund what he owes. Listen to his replies to me and others who were scammed...it is ALL our faults. Let the judge decide. Small Claims Court in process!!
