This, in itself, is understandable but it happens way too often at this location. What type of business only has one or two employees running the store. If someone is out find someone else to keep the business open. I have gone there on occasions when they were closed even 2 or 3 hours after supposedly opening hours. Carrying a heavy toaster oven to return to manufacturer, I now have the box back in my trunk until I can find a time to take back to Goin Postal. I used this opportunity to look up and find FedEx shipping centers even closer than Goin' Postal. I've learned my lesson with patronizing this G.P. It's the FedEx shipping center in the close-by Walmart from now on.

If you rent a mailbox from any entity other than the USPS you relinquish the ability to submit a change of address or mail forward. Most of these customers are not in town and will only find out when they start getting calls their mail has been "returned to sender." They will need to file a request with the USPS to hold their mail (online form submission is available) for pickup or delivery to another location and individually change addresses with senders. The Shipping Station has operated at the same location in Naples for over 35 years. During that time it has been bought and sold to various owners. The latest owners, Deborah B. White and Raymond Maluto of Debray Enterprises, LLC chose to close the business without notice to box holders or to the longtime employee who has ran the business for 20 years. Despite having several opportunities to sell the business, their decision to simply lock the doors has left many in town scrambling to secure their mail. It's disheartening to witness the demise of a long time business people have relied on for years and years. It's especially frustrating and puzzling to know the business could have been sold without any interruption of services. I understand they pulled the cancer card. I find this particularly distasteful for personal reasons. Again, they had no less than three opportunities to sell the business. They have promised refund checks for all unused months left on mailbox contracts. This is the worst company I have worked with perhaps ever. It took them 4.5 months to replace my…read moremailbox box. I constantly had to chase them down to provide a service. Laura was condescending, rude and completely unhelpful. They installed the box and I texted because it was wobbly. I was very rudely berated for not knowing a "bracket" was damaged. Several texts like this later, the "owner" called. I was told by Jim that he sits next to her and she is not unresponsive. Even with dates and copies of emails/text going back 4 months, he would not hear of it. He talked over me and eventually told me to keep the mailbox and never call them again. He behaved like a teenage child. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

It is now August 15, and it still is not fixed. We have called the HOA management company, HOA elected officials have called ASAP, and I have called ASAP. Pictures of the fallen mailbox to prove that it was not vandalized or hit by a car have been received by ASAP. I have sent a picture of the back so that Jim could identify the type of mailbox and the determine the type of repair necessary. Two weeks ago, Jim and/or Laura texted that a local handyman would repair it. Still nothing. It appears that ASAP has no intention of honoring their warranty nor providing any kind of customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!
