Ouch! Yeah, I hate to agree with the other reviews but this store can be a little lacking. It's serviceable, and they've gotten the job done for me (albeit slooooowly). They offer everything you need for mailing purposes (FedEx, UPS, USPS) + many other services such as if you need a document notarized or something like that. I'm not one to give poor reviews because of a couple poor experiences but as someone whose been living here for going on 12 years, this place has consistently had poor customer service. As someone else said, not sure if its the language barrier, but the owner was very rude and provided very little help in what I needed. Had a USPS order and looked at the shipping boxes, finding out on my own he didn't do USPS. Before I could leave, owner starts yelling that he only does "Returns, FedEx, and UPS" This has consistently been a problem between me and other family members. They've been our go to spot to drop our mail since moving to Steiner Ranch two years ago and they always help out and are super sweet to us! Not sure what people's issues are in other reviews but this mail place is great for a neighborhood spot and avoiding the post office or a drive. read more

Very rude! I walked in with a pre-paid package and was rudely told to put my boxes in the ups box. I was looking around for the ups box and he precedes to shout at me, 'Right there, right there, just put it in the box!' Why couldn't he walk 2 steps from behind his counter to show me rather than shouting? Or better, he could have taken the boxes from me and put it there himself! But they have no concept of good customer service. Then I ask for a receipt and he keeps repeating over and over (very rudely!) that I do not need a receipt, it won't help. He finally agreed to give one. I brought in two packages which were on top one another in the ups box, and he needed to scan the label in order to get me my receipt. He scanned the package on top and then THREW it on the floor to scan the second! Never going back. I would rather drive far than ever give this place my business again. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a one star!!! The owners are the rudest people I have ever met!! No customer service!! 2 huge dogs just laying wherever they prefer which I don't mind but others may not. I needed to tape up 2 boxes. The man told me its $1.00 per box or buy my own tape. When I first walked in, he was rude and asked what I wanted. Once I told him I needed to ship both of my boxes, he rudely pointed with his finger and told me to throw them over in a corner. I immediately told them that I will take my business elsewhere and left with my boxes. I will drive 20 miles to go somewhere else than one mile to this place!!!! read more

The absolute rudest people! I've had many experiences here and the owners have always been rude (I should mention that the lady has been nice, but the men are beyond rude), this morning's experience was another level! I walked in to drop 3 packages in the drop boxes (pre-paid shipping). The man was sitting behind the counter and didn't acknowledge me as I came in and dropped my packages (as they never do), so after dropping them, I started to walk out. The man yelled behind me aggressively as he got up to look at what I had dropped off, "you're welcome!" I looked back at him taken aback and left. Seconds after leaving I felt uncomfortable about the interaction and had the thought that I couldn't trust him with my packages. I went back in and grabbed two of my three boxes- the third one was missing. He asked "What are you doing??" and I told him I was trying to take my boxes back and asked where the third one I left was. He said nothing and went TO THE BACK to get it! My instinct was right and he wasn't going to mail my package!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! I should also mention, that I tried to drop these packages off on Saturday at 1:20pm and they were closed, while their hours online and on the door clearly state they are open until 3pm! It's sad that they are the only game around but I will now drive down 620 to avoid ever doing business with these people again. They need to leave our nice community!!! read more

I will NEVER send another package through this location. I paid for them to wrap a glass mug that was my son's with the name DAVID engraved on it to go to my grandson David in Georgia. It arrived shattered. I could have done a better job myself. I WILL NOT do any more business with this location. This was something that is not replaceable. Be aware that Pak Mail franchises mark up their FedEx shipping prices way above normal FedEx pricing. When shipping a large package to California, FedEx quoted me a price of $111. 85. Pak Mail's quote was an unbelievable $215.00! Talk about price gouging!! I'm surprised that FedEx would allow over a $100 mark up above their standard rates. The moral of the story; go to the FedEx web site, create a shipment, pay on-line, print your own shipping label, and then just drop it off at Pak Mail. read more

Despite many negative reviews, I used this PakMail location while traveling in the Austin area because it was convenient. I was able to have a document notarized, copied and sent via FedEx - exactly the services I needed. There was opera playing on the television and the gentleman who helped me was efficient and professional - humming along with the music as he took care of my document. Maybe his demeanor was 't warm enough for some earlier reviewers. I was totally satisfied. read more

Let me first by saying I created a Yelp account just so I could review this horrible place. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by an unwelcome stare by the 2 shop employees whom I'm assuming were the owners. They did not say a word until I stood by the counter for a good 2 minutes as I listened to them bicker with each other. Once they noticed I was ready a man asked me in a rude loud tone "WHAT DO YOU WANT" I was very surprised and told him I wanted to drop off a fedex priority envelope , which he rolled his eyes and then started walking towards the back as he pointed to a fedex bin on the floor. I then asked him if I could use some tape to tape the label on and he angrily told me that I didn't need any tape and was raising his voice in such a way I almost felt threatened. We went back and forth on why I needed the tape and he kept raising his voice as if he wanted to get into a physical altercation. In between sentences he was speaking with his wife in Russian or some foreign language where you could easily tell he was berating me. I left the store and never have I felt so disrespected and mistreated for asking for a piece of tape. There's probably a cultural difference here but to me it was an aggressive miserable drunk owner that could care less about his customers. I would stay far far away from this place read more
