Every one here is ultra friendly, open and honest. I brought my car in for damage to the hatch from some hit-and-run artist who backed into the car in a supermarket parking lot. So, one insurance claim later, I'm checking the Yelp reviews for auto body places. A friend had recommended Port Orchard Auto Body but I wanted to check the Yelp reviews. POAB was far and away the best reviewed auto body shop place in Port Orchard. What also sold me is that they are the only auto body shop which is not a DRP (Direct Repair Program) for an auto insurance company, but my insurance accepted their estimate right away. Gary was able to upgrade the replacement for the same price as what the standard hatch would have been. The finished product looks gorgeous--and they cleaned the car inside and out. It's such a pleasure to deal with a very special, family-owned locally-owned business which is also, in my opinion, the best auto body shop in town. You know a business has to be great when every Yelper awards them five stars--and every review is legitimate. Now mine joins all the others.

So I came in for a interior detailing for my 2010 Cadillac CTS , baby on her last legs, but…read moreeverything electrical and engine wise worked great, my heater and ac worked , my radio had no problems , I came to pick up my car and they had already left for a mobile cleaning so I paid my invoice got my keys from the lock box and opened my car to a BEAUTIFULLY SPOTLESS car I ain't ever seen it look this good. I was SOOOO HAPPY AND excited to finally do something like this for myself and have a nice clean car, until I tried to use my Defrosters and heater and nothing is working, radio buttons make the heater turn on and off now, none of my radio or heater buttons do anything they are suppose to. I immediately try to troubleshoot and when I realize it's no good I message back Alex and let them know immediately, asking if this is normal. No reply yet , but I hope they will understand paying 450 for my car to be cleaned and it come out damaged even if it is older is not what a 5 star detailing services would do. Hopefully they will issue a partial refund so I can now go pay to fix my electronics . I will recording my cars now in the condition before and after any car service to a sound this in the future . Great detailing but there were multiple soaking wet surfaces where they just soaked it in cleaner with little care about how it seeps into the electric components. They did an amazing job doing a complete ground up restore on the paint and trim for my Camaro. So it doesn't surprise anybody that the minute I had a car accident on my 2018 Honda pilot that I called them up sure enough they fixed everything timely and cost effectively and kept me updated along the way. There was a little problem afterwards they told me to bring it on in and check it. It might've had nothing to do with the car accident but they were kind enough to quickly fix it just in case, it might've been with a trim section, I can't tell you how happy I am with their service. Jim's easy going manner make him particularly useful when your recovering from an accident. Face it, these are particularly difficult experiences. First, dealing with the stress of the accident, possible injuries and insurance claim(s) are difficult enough. By the time you get to repairs, you just want it to go away. This is not the best time to rush! Take your time to understand your choices and, by all means, give Long's a chance to help!

Our vehicle was dropped off on December 2, 2025 and picked up December 29, 2025. Upon pickup, we discovered multiple personal items missing from inside the vehicle and new interior damage that was not present at drop-off. We immediately notified management, who stated they had no information and agreed that filing a police report was appropriate. A police report has been filed and the matter is being handled through proper channels. I'm sharing this so others are aware and can take precautions when leaving personal items in a vehicle during repairs.

Big thank you shout out to Melissa at Carstar John's…read more A deer destroyed my front end almost two years ago, and then my husband backed into a concrete traffic pole (which we decided to pay for privately). We finally made a claim with Farmers and chose Carstar John's because it is one of their preferred shops. From the start, they were extremely professional. Melissa greeted us, did a quick estimate, and explained clearly the difference in pricing between the insurance portion and the private pay portion. The pricing seemed reasonable, and we were given a 2 week time frame for completion. I was surprised and happy to receive regular text updates on the status of my repair. And when one part was particularly difficult to find, Melissa constantly updated me on the progress of her search. (She said she had to place 4 different orders around the country to get the right part.) I found out today that the text updating is something unique to this Carstar shop. And when I called because I was concerned about the security of my handicapped placard that I had forgotten to take with me, Melissa assured me that they keep the car locked up tight, but nevertheless didn't hesitate to tell me that she would take it out of the car and keep it safe in our file. It was there when we picked up the car. Even with the difficulty finding the part, the repair was still completed in two weeks. The car looks beautiful, both the front end deer damage and the rear husband damage. The bill came to almost the exact quoted amount, and they took my credit card without charging the processing fee percentage to me. My final surprise was the car washing. Melissa had told me that they would wash my car, but when I got into it, I saw immediately that the entire interior had been thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed as well. I have a 3-year old grandson and a lab, and I remember how gross the back seat was. The car looks like it got a $200 detailing! All in all, I have to say that Carstar John's was an amazing experience. I highly recommend their body shop.
