Carrie is the front desk guru who makes it all happen with a smile. After testing (on site and off…read moresite) and results, I was given detailed info about my particular plan of care choices by a doctor/owner. Doctors Redler and Meyer are both enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the cutting edge treatments that they have chosen to use in this clinic. I was told what coverage my insurance would absorb, and given choices along the way. I was never pressured. I am grateful that there are professionals in the office who walk me through everything that I need. Melissa Cahill is most kind and professional. Working with her is a team collaboration. All questions are answered and staff are assured that I have understanding before any treatment is done. They are glad to give me printed info so that I can read details at home. I have a PT plan, and physical treatment roadmap. All visits are planned in writing for ease of marking my calendar. The PT department, James and Xander, help me to understand every movement and its usefulness to my body. The exercises are doable, and monitored for safety. All treatments are explained to me before they are done. I feel safe, respected and seen as an individual with my own personalized plan, and I anticipate positive outcome for my health. I recommend this Fort Worth location as an opportunity to show how to maximize mobility, decrease pain, and increase the LIFE in Life. I have a positive attitude about my own future because of this caring group. Five stars!

I went to this Pain Doctor for over 10 months and had many steroid injections and also ablation…read morebecause of sciatica and lower back pain. Dr Berlin always seemed pleasant and competent but after your initial visit you never see him except at the surgical center for a couple minutes before your procedure. However his PA is ALWAYS the one you see routinely. First of all, nomatter how severe your pain is they NEVER prescribe anything stronger than Tramadol which gave me very little or no relief. After months of asking this PA for something stronger or nothing at all, she said "OK then, there's no need for you to provide a urine sample". In other words, she was going to give me NOTHING!What kind of Pain Facility doesn't provide you with a Pain medication that treats your pain? That's why you go there. But this wasn't even the worst experience I had there. When I first went there the PA was trying to explain the Stimulator and the Pain Pump as future possibilities. When I asked her how long the battery lasts on the Pain Pump she clearly said, "Ten years. Probably LONGER THAN YOU"! I was so shocked at how unprofessional she was and could not believe what she had said, I was speechless. Of course since I never see Dr Berlin I waited until I was in the surgical center and told him what she said. He was shocked and defended her and said she had worked for him for 16 years and she was always professional, and that he would speak with her. I said, "I know what I heard". I stayed with them a few more months until the PA handed me a brochure basically titled, "Don't worry if injections haven't worked for you, we have another procedure that has good success." Basically this procedure was to cut into your spinal cord area and do some manipulation or something. Immediately I thought to myself I am not going to let these people cut into my spine, and I made an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon who followed up. I should have left that facility immediately after the PA refused to provide medication that helped my pain. And I certainly should have walked out when she said the RUDE statement about the battery lasting longer than me. If you want a Pain Clinic that does not provide Pain Relief, this is your place to go. And if you're lucky, maybe you won't be Degraded by the PA.

I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the care Dr. Daniel Rose has provided me…read moreat the South Fort Worth location. He was the first to show me true care, empathy, compassion, and understanding during this journey with sciatica. From the very beginning, he encouraged me and was patient through every treatment, allowing me to cry out in pain, curse when I needed to, and giving me the space to recover before moving forward. While he humbly shares credit for my progress with my other providers, such as my physical therapist, I know in my heart that without him, I would not be where I am today. He has been the primary contributor to my progress, and for that, I will remain grateful. I will think of him with each step I take, knowing that while right now each step is still painful, this is only temporary. It is no surprise to me that Airrosti sees in him the same values I have experienced as his patient. His promotion is a reflection of the impact he has had on those around him, and while I am sad to see him go (to Lubbock), I know this new role will allow him to expand his reach and help even more people. Thank you for everything! Dr. Rose has truly made a difference in my life. With appreciation, Lynn Jameson

Disappointing Experience at Texas Pain Institute…read more My experience at Texas Pain Institute was extremely disappointing and frustrating. One of the leads, Miss Angela, was speaking to an elderly patient in a way that came across as assertive, demanding, and lacking basic compassion. For a medical facility--especially one dealing with pain management--this kind of interaction was uncomfortable to witness and completely unacceptable. The new patient paperwork was excessively long, and despite doing my best to complete it, I was told that if it wasn't finished in time, they would not reschedule me for the next day. Instead, the next available appointment was almost a month out, which is unreasonable for patients seeking timely care and already dealing with pain. The only positive experience I had with this business was a representative named Destiny. She truly stood out. Destiny went above and beyond to try to help me get rescheduled, showed genuine care, and had an amazing personality. She did everything in her power to assist me, and I absolutely appreciated her willingness to help when others clearly did not. Unfortunately, aside from Destiny's efforts, this experience left me feeling unvalued and discouraged. I expected professionalism, understanding, and empathy--especially toward elderly and new patients--but that expectation was not met.
