    Seafood Pasta#

Large space with awesome outside. Very busy on a Saturday. I don't know if I just didn't get the right dish but Page's Seafood Pasta was just okay. Smaller portion compared to their other dish. My pina colada was also not my favorite. It tasted more like ice than yumminess. Overall pleasant experience to be there. Just the food wasn't yummy.

One of my favorite places to bring people for a good meal that is consistently delicious! The servers are attentive and friendly and I love the outdoor seating and patio while waiting for a table. It's family friendly and we always feel welcome. Every meal here that I've had has been on the mark. My favorite items are the country fried chicken and beignets. On our most recent visit, my husband ordered the ribeye and it was one of the best ones he's ever had. We were pleasantly surprised as we are big steak eaters and have been to many of the high end steak restaurants in the area.

My meal! Sea bass and shrimp with an extra side of sweet potato casserole!

Food was amazing today! Went with brunch with friends and ordered Blackened sea bass and shrimp with rice, spinach, and tomatoes. I added a serving of sweet potato casserole and everything was served hot and delicious! Was a little wait bc it was very busy today. Also got a Peach Spritzer (champagne, peach schnapps and peach puree)..I think that was the name...was very tasty and shared a carafe with my friends. My friend ordered the short rib and grits and her short rib was very tough and she ordered fried flounder. The short rib she has ordered for years and it was her first time having any issue with this dish.

Service was great. Seafood was great. Rice was cool, quick change and replaced with hot rice. Everything was delicious .

Ok, I'll get to the food. But our waiter was outstanding. His easygoing manner complimented his professionalism. Only in linen and silver restaurants have I seen such a well trained pro. He helped make our evening memorial. I ordered the Cajun Grits, and struck gold. It was a perfect blend of Cajun flavors without being overpowered by raw heat. I savored every bite. POG is a casual place, understandably popular for its Southern style cuisine. We ate inside, but when the weather warms a bit we'll be back to try the outdoor area and another sumptuous meal.

Page's Okra Grill delivered exactly what you hope for in great Southern food. The fried okra basket was perfectly crispy, and the banana nut pancakes with fried chicken were delicious, hearty, and more than filling. The service was good, the vibe was welcoming, and portions were generous. Yes, the wait time was long, but honestly, that's to be expected when the food is this good--and it was absolutely worth it. A solid spot for comfort food done right. I'd happily wait again!

I arrived at noon and there were already 16 people at the table (it was a birthday party celebration). There were no additional available manager was made aware and the server was aware, they did accommodate us and add 2 chairs to the table but I was literally bumping knees and my left elbow with the lady to my left. Their response was there's no a way to accommodate by placing at another table or adding a table. I wanted to try different appetizers, because of paper space decided to only grab the main course. When the food arrived it not all the temperature I wanted. The grits was still warm and seasoned well. The egg white omelette was almost cold bi tasted great. The biscuit was okay. Would have been better if it were wam or hot. It was a little over cooked. I assume it's to be expected when you have a large table of guests. Would love for that to not be the case. Finished my meal around the 1:11pm. The manager came by to say thank you to the table and other tables. I did tip the server over 50% for my meal for their trouble. They got all our orders correct and out to us. I think if they had offered an adjacent table for a few of us the meal would have been better. It seemed as if they didn't care how crowded the table was which was my biggest issue.

Page's Okra Grill did not disappoint! We were visiting Charleston for the first time and looked on Yelp to find a restaurant with Southern comfort food and good ratings. Lo and behold, this restaurant was one of the top rated!! My husband got every fried thing on the menu and he loved it. We also tried a dish of shrimp and grits, and then I got the Salmon plate! It was all very delicious and we really enjoyed the meal. Granted, it was a LOT of fried food but it was a fun Southern comfort food experience. True Southern service made the evening perfect!

POG was beautifully decorated, and the fresh, clean scent made it the best place for our family gatherings. The hostess helped us organize our large group because some family members arrived later than expected. The hostess and manager walked us to our table. The young waitress was professional and very attentive to our requests. I can't remember the names of the wings and appetizers because they were gone in minutes. The Southern cuisine was delicious. The pasta dish was spicy and savory. My brother ordered traditional Southern cuisine, including collard greens, fried okra and shrimp, and macaroni and cheese. Yes, I stole a couple of bites! Nothing beats great food, family, and love. POG, thank you for helping us celebrate our family!

The location of Page's Okra Grill in Summerville is spot on. This was my first time seeing this restaurant on the Summerville side. I liked how there was a bar outside for those that prefer to hang outside. Being that I've gone to the Mt.P location several times, I assumed the food would be great. I was disappointed in the food except for the flounder and hush puppies. The collards were too salty and the red rice was too spicy. I'm still in shock because the Mt.P location food has always been good no matter when I've gone. Needless to say, maybe the cook at Page's Okra Grill in Mt.P can assist the Summerville location. I would much rather take the longer drive to Mt.P than return to the Summerville location. By the way the customer service was great.

I probably have 132 pictures of food, but I don't think I have the time to sort through my gallery to find them. What I will say is - Page's food never seems to disappoint. From chicken to seafood to breakfast, everything is always tasty and well seasoned. The staff is friendly, it's a cute space, with plenty of parking - even when it's crazy crowded, you can sit inside, outside, get takeout, or relax on a picnic table while you wait to be seated. It's by a pond, with outdoor activities and live music sometimes, as well as a large outdoor bar. It's a lovely space and always a great option for dinner, with the understanding that you might have to wait a little bit for a table!

Hello Yelpers!! We came to Page's on EASTER SUNDAY! Phew. We planned to meet there at 3/330 PM after church. There was an estimated 2 hr wait...... (she estimated that time but was sure we would be seated sooner because I chose first available). we waited an hour and a half and were seated indoors. Our server was Ace and SHE was AMAZING!! There were nine of us which factored into the wait. We were patient as there was plenty of seating and some games to play outside. The bar area has seating on first come first served. The area around back is hear the water but be warned DO NOT FEED ANYTHING THAT MIGHT COME from the water! We did not see any wildlife. The food was so good and plentiful!! Some highlights: WHOEVER thought to smoke the wings then fry 'em, they are blessed by JESUS!! They were ABSOLUTELY delicious!! The Redneck Egg-rolls (pulled pork in an egg-roll wrapper) were great with the side of pickled okra that comes with it. Note to those who don't eat okra, try it pickled. My husband did not like okra but tried it and he is a fan of it. We had a variety of entrees including fish shrimp and fried pork chops. All were finger licking good! We ordered the Holy Water and it was ok. No desserts for the table because we were FULL!! It is a great place with great staff and great vibes! Ask for Ace!!

My husband and I came in for dinner and sat at the bar. We started with the cheese fritters & bacon jam. We initially thought the bacon jam was missing, but the fritters were great so we just kept eating them! When we got down to the last one, we both realized the "odd looking fritter" in the bowl that we were both avoiding, was the jam (oops!). It was a similar color and shape to the fritters but we both just laughed about avoiding it. For my entree, I was sold on the "award-winning" shrimp & grits that were featured on the Today show (as per their menu). Surprising that this meal made it that far as it didn't taste like anything special to me. It was not bad but very basic/plain; so basic that it felt like something was missing. It was the same case with my husband's meatloaf. However, I would still recommend checking this place out and deciding for yourself if you like it here ;)

The crawfish was cooked well and had great flavor. The only thing we noticed was they were a bit juicy--we think they may not have soaked in the boil as long, which usually helps absorb more flavor. My husband really enjoyed them (this trip was mostly for him!), but they were a little spicy for me. I ended up getting a Caesar salad with fried crawfish tails instead, and it was huge--I only made it through about half. We also got margaritas during happy hour--both were really good. I had the lychee margarita, and my husband got the mango with a Cajun rim. Service was very good--our waiter was attentive and friendly. The only small downside was that we did feel a little rushed. It does say on the menu that they ask guests not to stay longer than 1.5 hours, so just something to keep in mind. They are pet-friendly, and we sat outside. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the tables had umbrellas, which was nice. The only other thing we weren't thrilled about was the credit card surcharge--it was around 3-3.5%, which feels a bit high, especially since most people don't carry cash anymore. Overall, a great spot--especially if you're a crawfish fan!
