It's got great regional history, hiking maps, and lots of current non-fiction to read on the beach. (Tons of fiction, too--including a huge Young Adult section.) You can get incense, Canadian artisan jewelry, prayer flags, puzzles and games and leather-bound notebooks. The centre part of the store is taken up with big tables of very affordable books The card selection is the coolest--check out the super-miniature people posed on food. Hilarious! Staff are very friendly and will let you sit and read in the easy chair. A great place to go and next to other specialty stores downtown.

They have a point system for all their customers so you get discounts after spending a certain amount. They even have an online searchable inventory tool on their website that is very efficient. It allows you to browse from your own computer, and see what books they can order in and what the cost will be. Excellent, five stars all the way.

Had small and large portions. Ordered the small and I had to check that they didn't accidentally give me the large as the portion was big for a small. Tried their ginger cookie sandwich with cream cheese filling and it was to die for! It was the size of a small pancake. Coffee was also good and staff so friendly. Great place to visit!

It's an old timey building that's been renovated but still has its old charm and historic interior. I expected a coffee shop inside, and I found a mini store with a coffee shop section in the back. I love all the products in the store. It's a mixture of local products such as candles, soaps, lotions, lip balms, bath products, teas, jams, etc. You could easily find gifts for so many people, and yourself!! The barista was helpful and knowledgeable in guiding me through the extensive tea selection to find the perfect blend for my chai. I bought some loose leaf tea to take home, and the barista was great to chat with while she made my chai. Also, this store donates part of their profits to environmental charities, and they strive to be as sustainable as possible. My only complaint is that it opens at 10. I wish it opened earlier for those who may want something at 7 or 8 am. I highly recommend people get this place out! Support small businesses!
