On October 14th, they received a pathology report indicating a cancerous tumor in my appendix. I had a post-operative appointment with Mary and a follow-up call regarding my bloodwork results. Unfortunately, Mary only reviewed the bloodwork results and failed to inform me of my cancer diagnosis twice within three days. When I called to inquire, Clemmy informed me that it was not feasible for them to read every report that comes in and expressed her apologies. She also mentioned that Mary would likely call to apologize as well, but she has not done so. I believed my primary care physician was responsible for handling situations like this, especially when the hospital and surgeon did not contact me. I relied on Mary to review the report that had been placed in my file two days earlier. If you are looking for a doctor's office that does not prioritize reading every report, Willard Family Practice and Mary may be suitable for you.

Poor business ethics...Stay Away!!!…read more This complaint is also being escalated to the Colorado Medical Board. Piney Creek Medical hours of operation state that they are open until 8pm daily. I called at 6:35pm during a weekday to ascertain if I could bring in my son to see Dr. Childers (who was the doctor on site that evening). The receptionist/nurse Sarah put me on hold and after talking to the doctor stated that they cannot see any patients past 6:30pm. I was a bit surprised and I asked to speak to Dr. Childers; she refused to put him on the phone stating that the doctors do not speak to patients over the phone (so no consultation available even though this is our Primary Care Physician and has seen us for many years). So why would Piney Creek Medical advertise hours beyond 6:30pm then?! Plus, I can't even talk to the physician on duty. My son was running a fever of 101 and we knew he had strep based on the diagnosis made by Dr. Bishop at Piney Creek Medical earlier in the week. Dr. Bishop had prescribed antibiotics which were not working for my son. I called in hopes of having the doctor see him (knowing that they are open until 8pm that I could swing by quickly) and if necessary and/or replace his medication. They refused to take him in and suggested I take him to Urgent Care or the ER if I deem it necessary. Additionally, Sarah suggested that I bring him in the morning and that Dr. Bishop would be in then and could see my son then. Sarah further stated that I keep giving him OTC meds (such as Tylenol and Ibuprofen alternatively) for the fever plus continue giving the prescribed antibiotics (which were clearly not working, it had been over 72 hours now). I strongly feel its the doctor's responsibility to show care and at least follow up with their patients (especially existing patients calling in for care/help). Certainly not a good way to run a Medical Practice or a business. If you can't rely on your PCP for an immediate consultation during their working hours, who can you rely on for your medical care needs?! I'm really bothered that this medical facility doesn't show the care nor concern for their patients. I would advise all to use the Urgent Care on Smoky Hill Road and Himalaya... they did an excellent job in seeing my son right away and prescribing the medication he needed to get well.. my son was already feeling much better the next morning.

If you or your loved one has any kind of chronic illness, or just not in perfect health in general,…read moreI would not recommend Dr. Jae Lee's office. Save your life somewhere else, please. I worked with him weekly for the last year of 3 I have been his patient, slowly unable to walk and my health deteriorating before my eyes like never before. He is deeply jaded, his nurses are uncaring and uninterested in their work as health care providers, watching me in pain and offering 0 hands as I streamed tears of pain in front of them and wouldn't even look at me. He is burnt out, unknowledgeable, and doesn't care to be curious and thoughtful about your case. He gets to go home and forget about it while you experience 24/7 unbearable pain. He doesn't speak Korean well, at least not enough to take care of your Korean elders to his fullest potential. Gratefully had some education in healthcare and knew what I deserved as a patient, so I did all my care planning and research on my own which prevented me from giving up on my life. No matter how much I sobbed and begged to Dr. Lee every week, he just kept saying to me every week "I don't know, I'd I knew I'd tell you" over and over again and refused to listen to me ask him to refer me to someone else, anyone else, multiple times. But he said he didn't have anyone else he knew in the field, no doctor friends or professionals he knew, which is worrisome. He also told me he had worked with "another extreme case like yours" and got no answers for them either, and gave up on me too. Seems like there's a pattern of his negligence. He might be good for a perfectly healthy individual who just needs annual blood work, but you better not hope any bad news shows up or you'll end up with medical trauma like I did, working it out weekly in therapy for who knows how many more years. There are many other Korean practices, it's worth the drive if you need to go further. His front staff speaks Korean, but that's it. They are kind though, the front desk has always been nice to me. This office has outdated systems and communication methods. It is a pain to try to get anything done efficiently with them. I would not recommend if you care about your health recovery at all. Once I left Dr. Jae Lee's clinic, I found an incredible doctor who was shocked about what I hold him I experienced in Dr. Lee's care and within a month I finally got *all* the care I couldn't even beg on my knees every week for a year with Dr. Lee. There are providers who actually care, and Dr. Lee's office and those who work under him is a direct reflection of Dr. Lee's ethics and attitudes towards patient care and healing. You deserve better than Dr. Lee, and I promise it's out there, it's not worth the horrible delay of care that will worsen your health beyond what you ever experienced while your PCP shrugs in front of you and your father saying there's nothing he can do when he hasn't tried to do anything at all. I think this clinic would have a fighting chance if Dr. Lee would just wake up to the reality that he might be lacking and need to step up to respect his patients health and the field of medicine. Burnt out doctors happen, but Dr. Lee needs to check in with how he chooses to perform his patient care.

I made a reservation/appointment for 11:30 because I thought I had a sinus infection. I showed up 10 minutes early as requested and was quickly dismissed out the door and told it would be a telehealth visit. I complied and sat in my car. The triage nurse called me just a few minutes later to go over some intake questions and said the doctor would be right in the video call. I waited over an hour before I called the clinic and asked where the doctor was. She quickly gets on and tells me "well it just sounds like a cold so just take some mucinex and call me back if it's not better in 14 days." This call with her took all of 3 minutes. Knowing my body, I went to a different urgent care to actually be seen - I have a sinus infection and the flu. The quality of care has seriously decreased. I get it - everyone is stressed out and overworked - but to simply be refused care is unacceptable.

Dr. Shauna Rae Walter Kelly has been my PCP for over a year now, and I cannot recommend her enough!…read more To preface, I am a young queer person who suffers from chronic and mental illness. For the better of 9-10 years, I have been fighting doctor after doctor to at least listen to my concerns. But ideally for help. I came to Dr. Kelly after moving across the country, with a terrible anxiety of doctors and lots of concerns. Not only did he listen to each and every concern of mine, she gave feedback to each and EVERY concern. She addressed everything with lots of information and great discussion on what we could do about them. It is a 100% accurate for me to say that Dr. Kelly has changed my life for the better. I may not have all of the answers, and my health probably will never be perfect - but just the fact that I am heading in a forward direction for the first time in my life, is absolutely amazing. I don't think I will ever be able to thank Dr. Kelly enough for what she has done for me.
