a pan of food cooking on a stove

I was able to persuade my wife to hire Paella Chef Jose for her birthday party last Sunday--best decision we made! The bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese were a great appetizer, the beautiful garden salad and absolutely delicious Caesar salad were huge, and the tasty chicken empanadas were made hot at the party. But the true stars were the two amazing seafood paellas! Great flavor, loads of shrimp, clams and my wife's favorite mussels. Plus hot loaves of bread. He came in, cooked, served and cleaned in about 3 hours, all for a fair price. Our guests loved it. Highly recommend!

I recently had an excellent experience with Paella Chef for my baby shower. They prepared three courses appetizers: homemade hummus with pita bread, fish dip( yummm, my favorite) also fresh Caesar salad . Main course Double Seafood Paella- fresh ingredients, made from scratch, soo delicious. For dessert we had homemade cream brûlée. My guest enjoyed it very much. They were impressed by service that the Chef provided. Definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Ask the Community - Paella Chef

Are there any gluten free options that haven't been cross contaminated at the Farmer's Market?

Paella is gluten free. It only has rice, protein and vegetables. There is no cross contamination ever. Thank you for your question.

Hungry for fajitas?…read more Order the beef and chicken fajitas from Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex To-Go. Generous serving of delicious well seasoned chicken. Hubby loved the beef and onions. Served with sides of rice and beans, the pico, guacamole, sour cream and cheese were very nicely packaged for the transport back home. The chips were so fresh and the spicy salsa was perfect to round out the meal. So easy to order on the app. Would have also liked to have ordered the veggie fajitas, but they were never available. Called to verify, but they are not being offered at this time. Hopefully they will be added soon as there are not too many vegetarian options available at this Kitchen United Mix location and this would be a great option for vegetarians or someone who wants a lighter meal choice. Great choice at Kitchen United Mix located in the produce section in Kroger.

It seems like they're still working out some substantial kinks and there's a lot that can be improved with the platform. That being said, the food was really solid! We would order from here again. The brisket breakfast taco, brisket quesadilla, and beef fajitas (requested medium rare, it was very tender) were all the stars of the show. I love that we have the option for some really good breakfast tacos for dinner We wished that the menu was a bit better at the a la carte items, such as the ability to get a side of the baba sauce (which is that badass creamy jalapeno salsa) with whatever order you want vs specific items. The menu also didn't have a whole lot of details about each item, like the amount of food it came with (1/2 lb, fajitas for 2, etc) so we totally had to guess. The chicken fajitas were well seasoned and the wood grill flavor was really good but the meat was overcooked, which in all fairness is super common for chicken fajitas. They forgot some minor items we ordered, like the pint of pico and some salsa, but overall the food is what matters most and it was good enough to compensate for the the things that didn't go right. Side note: order on a desktop, none of our household or other friends who tried Kitchen United Mix out could order on the browser.

After seeing that one of the standard options had cottage cheese, I emailed the company to see if a vegan box was available. Within a few minutes, I heard back that it would be no problem. Yay, just what I like to hear!! Basically, you get a huge box of vacuum sealed Indian food packages with freezer packs to your door. You don't need to be home when it's delivered---just put it all in your freezer before you go to bed that day. (The packages are relatively compact--you won't need to clear out your entire freezer like you would with freshly). My first meal with red kidney beans was great. I followed the directions to a T (1.5 minutes in the microwave for the entree and gravy and 1 minute for the rice) and it was steaming hot. It tasted exactly like Indian food I've had at restaurants and friends' houses. I would fully recommend it! As compared to other services, I found the portions incredibly affordable. I don't know how to make Indian food on my own, so I've traditionally ordered vegan Indian food for $3/a can. I've also ordered takeout for ~$10-15 per person. This comes out much closer to $7-8, especially if you are not an especially voracious eater. Cons: One of the disadvantages is that the directions included with the package can be a bit confusing if you are not super familiar with Indian dishes. I didn't know exactly what the "gravy" was from the "entree" I sent this in the feedback form that rotizen emailed me, so I hope this will be included in future boxes.

How do you provide proof of something that does not exist? I was put into a group text with their team regarding the issue and instead of simply replacing the two meals from their mistake, the response was that they "need concrete proof and they are not a charity." WOW. Talk about some poor customer service. This was not our first issue with them and the customer service given then was below par. You are a food SERVICE industry. Poor Poor service. Very bad. I finally got hold of the owner Aaron and not only did he talk over me the entire time he also suggested I find a different food service company. BC OF THEIR MISTAKE WE ARE BEING PUNISHED. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on the encounters I have had with the staff. This company will not last long on those ethics, that is for sure. I am happy to NOT do business with them and we will take our business to My Fit Foods who has incomparable customer service, responds to their customers and does not ARGUE through text or phone calls. I am honestly appalled at the level of service we have received after ordering $300+ every week. Do better Aaron.
