Just went to a wedding here Saturday. Beautiful venue. Great staff that are easy to work with. The food from the caterer was awesome.

I see immense value in the upkeep of these places and I know they bring value to the community. The problem with this place is it just kind of sucked as a "museum". There was really no rhyme or reason to the "artifacts" it was a motley crew of random odds and ends that locals had donated. Even the woman working (although I bet she just volunteered), didn't have a lot of info or insight on the displays. There were some random tea pots, a display with some NASA posters, an old Chinese robe, and some ceramic buildings. According to the plaque outside this spot had been the location for a pretty cool archeological find but I didn't see that very prominently displayed inside. The high point was probably just walking around this old church which had been built in 1901 (I'm pretty sure on the date but could be off). It was really gorgeous for being so tiny. There's a small chapel to the left as you walk in and the right is where the displays are, in what probably served as a hall. The building can be rented out for events. Price of admission is free and donations are accepted. If you're even mildly interested in history and old buildings and you happen to be in the area I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a few minutes (trust me, a few minutes is all you'll need). Just keep your expectations semi-low and you might be pleasantly surprised.

The little closet they have is connected next to the restrooms and you can hear all the toilet flush. The A/C was cool at all the other areas except for the bridal suite area. It was so hot in there wearing our bridesmaid dresses with full make up on! There was no place for the men to get ready. Back to the restrooms, the handicap stall was locked the entire time we were there and couldn't find anyone to unlock it. Kitchen prep area was pretty big. The reception area was big, with huge dance floor areas. The glass windows all over let you see the beautiful view of the bay outside. Gorgeous view of the sunset too.

Danielle showed me around and was really accommodating and friendly. There is this really nice balcony area that would be great for pictures. You can also do your wedding here so people don't have to drive around. The dance floor is built in and I didn't like its placement but I am sure many people are not that picky about that kind of thing as I am. They have a huge area for your catering people to get set up. When I visited they were turning their office into a bridal suite which I am sure is really pretty now. There is also a separate room where you could set up your buffet or use as a kids room or a bar room which is great! I had this great idea that instead of leaving in a limo after the reception you could leave in a boat taxi! And Danielle said that it could be arranged. There is now a restaurant downstairs that has bands on Saturdays so you may want to go visit on a Saturday evening to see how loud it is. That could also eat up a lot of the parking that is there. A great thing is you get the whole place for the whole day, no sharing! Makes everything run a lot smoother. They have a list of preferred vendors if you want some help but I believe you can bring in anyone for your catering and DJ/Band. This was not the place for me but would be a great place to have a wedding and/or reception! Definitely taking a look at if you want to get married in the Clear Lake Area with a water view.

We would definitely consider hosting another event there and would recommend it to others. The facility is well set up and can handle its advertised duties, but the real story is the service provided by the staff. The staff and DJ did a great job of accommodating our party. We brought in outside catering, selected our own music, and spent a long time transforming the facility with a different look and feel. In short, we were particular, and the staff worked very well with us and all the parties involved to make it a success. My daughter and I selected music and I built a slideshow. Chris, the DJ (and either the husband of the owner or co-owner, I didn't ask), did a great job of working the music together to make a great program. We selected some music that wasn't traditional for a teeny-boppy party, and he sequenced it beautifully to engage the entire audience - even the grandparents were dancing! We also changed the program slightly during the event and again he kept up very well. If you are bringing in your own music and slideshow, make sure you follow Chris's directions so that you get the results you are looking for. I brought a few different file types of the slideshow in case there were difficulties playing one on their computer, but there weren't . The food and beverage accommodations are good, although we did not prepare food there, nor did we serve alcoholic beverages. We had dining catered by Gina's restaurant of Clear Lake, and they worked well with the Enchanted Gardens staff. We had a few family members arrive after the dinner was cleared, but the staff reheated and served them food. The service we had included sodas, tea, and water. For an additional fee, they served coffee. About the only drawback is that the facility is a little hard to find. We had a few guests that had difficulty finding the place. There are several factors for this; first is its actual location. It is situated in a strip shopping center that doesn't look like it would accommodate an event facility. Secondly, there is not a sign by the road, so finding the exact entrance in the dark was a little challenging. Third, it appears as though some search engines (including google/yelp) appear to show this near FM 517 even though it is near 146 (some 30 minutes the other direction). We learned of this from some very persistent guests. I hope to submit a request to fix this, but I would highly recommend that you include a map to the facility or directions with your invitation.

My fiancé and I got engaged in Jan 2019 and after venue shopping and planning, we were referred to Yvette in May 2019. At the time, we decided to not do a pop up since we ended up deciding to do a wedding on a cruise in 2020. Well obviously that fell apart thanks to the pandemic! Yvette was there to save the day! We were hoping things would get better in 2020 but COVID cases kept rising so we said screw it, let's do the pop up wedding! And we are SO happy that we did! We didn't want to do a huge party and spend thousands on a wedding but we got the upscale wedding look for so much less. Yvette and her team were offering these COVID packages (see their Instagram to see if still on going) and we had an officiant, seating for 25, cake, photographer venue and decorations all for under $2000. My family was worried that since we were spending significantly less than the average wedding cost that it wouldn't be as nice. In fact, we were criticized prior to the wedding, but then the day of the wedding arrived and they were in awe. It was so romantic and beautiful. Yvette and her team added flowers, candles and just made the night so magical. The cake was delicious and over all the experience was dreamy and magical. Pop Up Weddings Houston also go beyond the pop up wedding bookings. Yvette does weddings of all sizes! They actually do wedding give aways on their instagram so check it out if you're recently engaged! They also work with vendors/partners who provide live streaming services, photo booths and more! Anyways, major thanks to Pop Up Wedding Houston! I am totally referring my engaged friends to them! Note: Once I receive my wedding photos I'll update my review to show you all how gorgeous the venue was!
