I consider myself to be an extremely far crazy individual. I've participated in numerous concourse as well as car shows. If I have even the slightest chip or blemish in my paint, I literally lose sleep. And along those lines, I trust nobody with any of my cars.... Except the crew at Detailing Dynamics. From the moment you enter their facility, the white tiles and bright lighting give off an almost hospital-like appearance. And no matter what day of you stop in, the caliber of vehicles in their shop is second to none. But the beauty of this place is that they treat every single customer's car as if it were a multi-million dollar machine. They don't play favorites. If it's your ride, it's important to you. And they know it. And they treat it and you that way. I will say that for me, I hate leaving my cars anywhere. For any reason. But with Detailing Dynamics, I don't give it a second thought. It's one place where you can drop off your car for whatever you are getting done, and don't have to worry. Because you'll be getting your car back in better condition than when you dropped it off. The owners are beyond meticulous with their work and have trained their staff to be the same. Around Feb of 2020, my vehicle was involved in an accident on Old Country Road in Westbury. The…read morepolice responded to the scene, prepared a report, and arranged for a tow truck. The tow truck was from Bodyworks Unlimited. A short time later, I went to Bodyworks Unlimited to see my vehicle and assess the damage, as I had not seen it since the accident. I did not have comprehensive insurance, and after reviewing the repair estimate, I decided I was not willing or able to pay for the repairs out of pocket at that time. While I was in the office, the gentleman working there gave me permission to remove my vehicle from the shop and handed me the keys. After receiving the keys, I contacted AAA to arrange a tow to bring my vehicle back to my storage location. Approximately two days later, I received a phone call from Bodyworks Unlimited stating that I owed them money for the tow. This was confusing to me, as there was no mention of any towing fee or payment owed when I was in the office. A few days later, the tow truck driver went to the location where my vehicle was being stored at the time, which was a property I had rented solely for storage purposes and did not reside at. He spoke with someone present in an attempt to collect $285 for the tow; however, I was not there at the time. Several days after that, while I was at work, two men entered the property and went into the backyard area where I was in the process of disassembling my vehicle and had various damaged parts laid out. They then contacted me by phone, stated that there was still an outstanding balance, and claimed they had taken something from my vehicle that would render it inoperable. At the time, I did not understand what they meant. However, after reviewing the security camera footage and checking the parts at the yard, I realized they had taken two of my stock turbochargers, apparently as collateral. They were unaware that both turbos were already blown and unusable, so they had no value to me. Based on this experience, I strongly suggest staying away from this business. If they were willing to do something like this, it raises serious concerns about what else they might be willing to do.
