I purchased my brand new X5 back in 2016, and it went straight to PAD for a 2 step paint correction followed by several layers of Ceramic Pro. I would say I'm quite anal when it comes to my cars and never been through a automatic wash. heard of PAD from several friends and gave it a try, I'm extremely happy I did! When I first got there, Luke did a full walk around to inspect the vehicle and pointed out several areas that required attention. Although the car was brand new, I was surprised to see many swirls in the clear coat. This was prob due to the bad prep work from the dealer but my untrained eye couldn't catch it. I Ok'ed the work and picked up the vehicle a couple days later. The transaction was smooth and Luke would always keep me updated on the progress which was awesome. I had many detailers in the past that never did this, and I always wondered if anything was being done to my car, but thats another story... When picking up my car, I was blown away! The amount of gloss and slickness to the paint was night and day, and No more swirls under his inspection lighting!! between the correction and ceramic coating, it definitely made the paint pop much more. My car looked better than brand new! It's now 2 years later and the paint still looks immaculate. if you don't know about ceramic coatings, I recommend you all look into it. The way it repels water and keeps dirt from sticking to the car is insane. I use to wash my car every week, but now I can go 2 months without touching it. PAD does the ceramic maintenance annually and I will continue going to him for all my auto car needs. Make sure to make an appointment before going in, he's quite busy and you will see tons of bimmers in his shop. Very popular with the BMW community!

Around Feb of 2020, my vehicle was involved in an accident on Old Country Road in Westbury. The…read morepolice responded to the scene, prepared a report, and arranged for a tow truck. The tow truck was from Bodyworks Unlimited. A short time later, I went to Bodyworks Unlimited to see my vehicle and assess the damage, as I had not seen it since the accident. I did not have comprehensive insurance, and after reviewing the repair estimate, I decided I was not willing or able to pay for the repairs out of pocket at that time. While I was in the office, the gentleman working there gave me permission to remove my vehicle from the shop and handed me the keys. After receiving the keys, I contacted AAA to arrange a tow to bring my vehicle back to my storage location. Approximately two days later, I received a phone call from Bodyworks Unlimited stating that I owed them money for the tow. This was confusing to me, as there was no mention of any towing fee or payment owed when I was in the office. A few days later, the tow truck driver went to the location where my vehicle was being stored at the time, which was a property I had rented solely for storage purposes and did not reside at. He spoke with someone present in an attempt to collect $285 for the tow; however, I was not there at the time. Several days after that, while I was at work, two men entered the property and went into the backyard area where I was in the process of disassembling my vehicle and had various damaged parts laid out. They then contacted me by phone, stated that there was still an outstanding balance, and claimed they had taken something from my vehicle that would render it inoperable. At the time, I did not understand what they meant. However, after reviewing the security camera footage and checking the parts at the yard, I realized they had taken two of my stock turbochargers, apparently as collateral. They were unaware that both turbos were already blown and unusable, so they had no value to me. Based on this experience, I strongly suggest staying away from this business. If they were willing to do something like this, it raises serious concerns about what else they might be willing to do.

The first time I brought it in, I thought the brakes were bad as it was making a terrible sound. Sam put it up on the lift and realized a piece of metal was hanging down due to a rusted bolt. He cleaned up the rust and resuspended the piece and charged me $80.... When did anything cost 80 at a repair shop. Other places would have replaced my brakes unnecessarily as that is what I had asked for. He is so honest and kind. This past week he came to the rescue again. A babysitter borrowed my car and got into a minor accident and she ripped off the side back panel and half of the bumper. In doing so all the plastic clips holding the pieces on broke. Sam bolted all the pieces back on and charged me $150 for one hour of labor. Again he could have easily told me I need to buy a new bumper and side panel but he didn't. He is just incredibly honest and good person and will forever have my business for any repairs, oil changes and inspections. Thank you for taking such amazing care of your customers!!!!

They charged me over $900 to fix the leak, but when I got the car back it was still losing coolant. So I brought it back and they told me it was a fan issue an they fixed it. So I brought it to a another mechanic and they told me it looked like the oil was never changed and the leak was my head gasket. Which is easy to diagnose. So basically j&p auto was just robbing me this whole time and never doing any actual work on my car. Honestly, I'd stay away from them.

Let me be clear: the only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because of Julian, who in…read moremy opinion is a good salesperson who did his best to help us. We came in seriously interested in purchasing one of the newer AMG models, but were told we could not test drive any of their AMGs due to concerns about depreciation from added mileage. That's frankly absurd in my opinion - this is a dealership selling high-performance vehicles, not a museum. I might understand that logic for something like a Ferrari or Rolls-Royce, but a Mercedes? You've got to be kidding me. We made it clear that we would not purchase any vehicle without test driving it. Their response was that a test drive would only be allowed if we first sat down to discuss pricing. When I asked how that would somehow prevent "depreciation", especially if we weren't even planning to buy that specific AMG anyway, they couldn't provide a coherent answer. It came across as a weak excuse to control the sales process rather than a legitimate policy. For comparison, the Mercedes dealership in Bayside, Queens had no issue allowing AMG test drives, so this is clearly not a brand-wide policy, but rather a specific policy of this location. We then asked to speak with a manager to better understand the reasoning. The manager literally came out but chose to ignore us after standing behind us for a few minutes. To me, this level of disregard for serious potential buyers is completely unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers before a sale, I can only imagine what happens afterward. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a professional, transparent, and respectful car-buying experience.
