Had my new bike 1st service, drove home and the oil filter is leaking. Rang Padgett's, Cleaned oil off over the weekend, ran the bike Sunday oil leaking again. Rang Padgett service again on Monday to pop in to Torque up the the filter. I was told I had to book it in for Tuesday. In mid flow of explaining the 2 minute job to nip it up. the phone was put down. I Called back and was told "its disgusting how I spoke to the technician" at the service on Friday... WHAT!, Absolute Lies. I asked him a about the power supply socket under the seat for accessories. I was told to go and do the job myself, Buy the young female Padgett woman. I have bought 2 Brand new Honda's from them past. NO MORE. read more

Bought new Honda from them but really wish I'd gone elsewhere. Bike is great, service from the company abysmal. Once deposit paid they had no interest, up to me to keep chasing progress then on collection nothing was ready, bike had vapour in the tank and even though new had only 6 months tax instead of 12 I'd paid for. £204 lighter I just got my sv back from a health check and MOT... £137 in labour apparently. Avoid this place at all costs, they are USELESS! While it was in for the MOT, I asked the mechanic to look at a sporadic fault code and and an intermittent ignition problem. I specifically told him only to spend time looking at the faults if the error codes were on at the time of the health check. So I got a call the same morning to firstly tell me that an indicator wasn't working, which it was 'gunna fail the MOT for', he added that he'd "cracked the casing by tapping it"... Secondly, he told me the error codes hadn't come up, so he wasn't able to fix either of the faults and told me the relevant components 'looked to be working fine'. It went in for its MOT and failed on a dipped beam headlight bulb, then re-tested after replacement and passed. From what had transpired and knowing the retest would be free, I expected a £60-70 bill at the most, then they slapped this invoice on me. When I contested the bill, the receptionist claimed the mechanic had not only spent time looking at the faults, he had also used a diagnostic tool to re-set the codes. This was a complete barefaced lie to justify the cost, as he'd told me already that the error codes never showed up. These people are deceitful, totally unhelpful and unbelievably scandalous. What was hilarious was after I paid and said I would never return, I tried to turn over the bike and it wouldn't even start for 10 minutes. The guilt on their faces was quite satisfying!Riding home the other error code then flashed back up at me! Thanks so much for all your help padgett's, you utter clowns.
