He didn't want to do anything with the breaks as they don't need it for another 4 months and he also said my window wipers looked quite new, was I sure? ...I bought them cheap last year and they're pretty poop do I've got brand new ones now so I can see again, I'm sure the roads of Manchester will be happy! Also do free fitting with parts and gave my car a clean inside and out because "it's a little muddy" haha (my office is a building site atm!!!)

At my wife's insistence I took it in for an inspection before the holiday in France. The bill was less than £2, new light bulb. I took it in recently because of a squealing sound when turning - now this could be anything as Google will confirm. Result? No charge, something about a dirt trap on the brakes that needed adjustment. I am very very suspicious about garages after my previous one which let a strut rust for 5 years until it snapped and ruined the car - they can be dishonest in so many ways. But this one definitely seems more than OK, in fact it's FINE.

I'm glad to say that Woodlesford Motor Spares were more than able to compensate for my lack of knowledge and quite dodgy descriptive skills. The chap was helpful to the point of telling me that one of my options was to not buy from him. On the downside, I made the mistake of agreeing to let him arrange for the part fitting and got my car back in a worse state than it went in. So, yes I'd definitely go here for my parts but next time I'll borrow a manual and do the job myself.
