This was the first time I'd been to Allcar but they were recommended by my usual specialist. Top job done and full marks to the friendly technicians. I watched their other work too. What a change to find guys who actually care about your pride and joy. I know my cars (ex pro racer) and I've been around garages for five decades but not found a better one this last ten years. Highly recommended and I'll happily use them again if necessary. May I suggest the 'strange' review from 'cragg' dated 27/02/2012 be ignored.

I always do my research first before buying, letting Graham know if I can get something cheaper and he'll always give a great price for fitting. Graham was actually recommended to me by a business user which again says he must be good! The comment about overalls being outdated? Do you expect them to wear tutus!?!?!? They're mechanics for christs sake, get a grip. Speaking of grip and the bloke with a range rover, check out tyre reviews and you'll see that vredestein had been voted the best tyre but that doesn't necessarily mean its the best for your car or for noise - always check online. Remember he recommended them not forced you to fit them so you have no one but yourself to blame.

For the younger reader it may seem all a bit funny, the idea of wee Grandads scooting about on their carts with a shopping bag fized to the front basket, but in reality - we're all potentially going to get there one day and when I do I want a Clarks Mobility nearby. They have a huge range of models, with up to £2000 scrappage allowance when you trade in your old scooter. They do a wheelchair hire, at a rate of £3 per day, which is another useful thing to know. If you've an elderly relative who doesn't get out much but can't afford a scooter you can hire a wheelchair for the day, and have a lovely day out! As well as all this they've a number of different wheeled trolleys, the kind to put your shopping in and wheel back home with ease, in a variety of fresh and exciting colours. No more maroon trolley basket for you Nana, oh no. A pink, blue and green floral number is just the ticket to brighten your day. Fantastic!

The service was excellent and all my wheels and tyres got checked and cleaned even though I only had 2 tyres replaced. BEWARE! CTYRES FAIL TO SUPPLY GOODS AND FAIL TO REFUND YOUR MONEY…read more I ordered my tyres on the telephone for fitting on the 8th October 2013, went to the fitting company they advertised and confirmed in their email, only to find that it no longer exists. Telephoned Bob @ Ctyres who agreed a refund as there was no other fitting company in my area. Have not received any confirmation email and have emailed twice since, surprise surprise no contact what so ever and no refund is forthcoming. Fortunately I paid by Credit Card so am now starting a dispute procedure. The ironic thing is I acquired the exact same tyres locally for £10.00 less. The hype by CTyres is completely untrue and anyone considering using them should beware because you will loose your money
