    Cliffs of moher

Amazing! Tour guides and workers were so helpful. Me and my friend were on a two day tour, and messed up and ran into some issues, and my girl Gosia came in clutch. She helped us figure everything out and was so helpful, and we loved the tour of blarney and cork. The cliffs of moher were also great.

Taxi - definitely not being driven in style as stated in the tour description.

This is surely the worst "tour" I've ever been on. It was nowhere near what was described on your website. See comments below; 1. The information states we would be taken in style by a van with no more than 25 passengers. There were 8 of us stuffed into a taxi which smelled like smoke. The only air circulation was from windows. But when they were open they blew in the face of the passengers in the last seat. I personally don't consider this being "taken in style". Do you? 2. We were supposed to enjoy a panoramic view of Cork while our guide points out highlights. We did not have a tour guide. After we were driving for 20 minutes or so I finally asked where we were. Not at any time prior to that did he speak about anything we were passing. At that point I knew something was up. When we stopped I asked about this. Our driver admittedly stated he was not a guide and would try the best he can. He was called the night before to take us. He pointed out nothing stated in your description of the tour. Even if he would have said anything those of us stuck in the back couldn't hear him. 3. We were dropped off in Cork for a few minutes, but really had no understanding as to why. We didn't have time for lunch. He dropped us off in front of Carrolls gift shop. I want a refund for this tour. You should have contacted us the day before saying you don't have a driver. We could have chosen to go, but the company decided to stick us in a taxi with someone who has no knowledge of history or points of interest. Or maybe we could have been added to another tour? But no - we sat uncomfortably for hours. I've contacted PaddyWagon Tours and Elegant Irish Tours with no response. It's really despicable.

5 nights in Ireland, 3 day tours with Paddywagon and we left pretty happy! Tour 1: (Sunday) Cliffs of Moher; Our entrance into the park was included in the ticket. We had plenty of time to spend at the cliffs. Our tour guide knew get there early and he was right! As we were leaving loads of people were piling in. We also stoped in Limerick for 15 minutes for a view of the River Shannon and King John's castle. We also went to the 'mini cliffs' or the Burren. Amazing walking on the weathered stoned and being able to get close to the edge for beautiful views, photos and catching the Huge splashes! Stopped in Doolin for lunch (difficult finding food for a kid to eat here in this small town) and got to see where some of a Harry Potter film was tapped. Our tour guide Paulie was nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Every chance he had he would tell us about something he knew. Tour 2: (Monday)Blarney/Cobh; Our driver got us to Blarney really early once again because Paddywagon knows how to do tours... ahead of everyone else. The guide urged us to get right up for kissing as some people wait 1 hour and a cruise was in Cobh that day. We followed instructions and only had to wait about 10 minutes to kiss the stone! We had plenty of time to wander the grounds and visit the gift shop/grab some food. We went right to Cobh from there and as instructed by our tour guide, we headed right to the Titanic Experience since some people have a long wait as well. We made it in time to go on the first tour! Would have liked more time in Cobh. Tour 3: (Wednesday) Dingle; We started with Michael and transferred buses to spend the majority of the day with Paudie. We stopped in Kinsale for 1 hour (most places were closed because it was early) then we headed to Inch beach. We had enough time to see the beach, use the facilities and grab some food which he suggested we eat on the bus to save time! The roads are narrow on this drive, a little bumpy too plus right on the edge of the cliffs! Paudie is a pro! No worries about his driving even in the extreme windy conditions! (Bus was shaking at stops from the wind!) He stopped at multiple places along Slea Head even a place we could hold baby sheep! Plus Star Wars filming spot stop. We also had 1.5 hrs in Dingle town. Paudie is a great storyteller... we very much enjoyed his tales. And if you are lucky... he might just serenade you! And if you have the luck of the Irish on your side... You might even get 2 songs! Some things to know about travelling via Paddywagon: 1. No bathrooms on the bus 2. Some of their tours leave so early the only place open for breakfast will be your hotel (or make other arrangements although the buses stop fairly early on in case you need to grad something) 3. no garbage bags on the bus 4. drivers do accept tips! 5. At the end of the day free beer sampling in the paddywagon office! We had no issues and Paddywagon got the job done!

    Ring of Kerry tour.

The Ring of Kerry was a fun tour. We had a pretty empty bus since it was off-season and the weather was dreadful. It was still worthwhile. The tour is about 8 hours long from start to finish and a lot of that is spent on the bus, but since it's a scenic route for the most part it's not too bad. The bus was pretty comfortable and to my surprise had pretty good Wi-Fi. It didn't work everywhere but it worked well enough to read or check email between stops. There was a stop in Killarney as well as a handful for photo stops and a lunch break. Our driver / guide was informative and funny. There are a few different tour options in Cork so sure, I'd do another Paddywagon day tour next time.

Went on an Irish Christmas/New Year holiday, and after driving for several days, I decided I was NOT driving the Ring of Kerry. After talking with many people, we decided to check out the Paddywagon Tours website and YELP...so glad we did! Our hotel was 3 blocks from the bus pick up, the driver (Paul) was amazing, I saw things I never would have seen if I drove, I was relaxed, and enjoyed myself! We took off promptly and Paul gave us history and city information as we drove to Killarney; since we took tour from Cork. In Killarney we had a little over an hour to grab a snack, take a look around, shop, whatever we wanted to do until the more people joined the tour. Then off we were to the Ring of Kerry. We periodically made stops, for pictures, check out the cute towns, visit places along the way. We stopped for lunch in a small seaside town of Waterville....so perfect, picturesque, pristine. The restaurant was the Lobster...and if you ever get the chance to eat here....GO! Take a tour, drive yourself, just go. The food was so good, so authentic, and amazingly low priced for the amount of food you get. Anyhow, on with the tour....Paul was friendly and informative and even pretty comical at times! He made sure we saw every sight we could, within his means, we had a bit of fog from time to time. He made sure our final stop was at the Killarney National park for a short hike to Torc Waterfall at sunset....so breathtaking. I would definitely take another Paddywagon tour in the future!

The little village of Waterville the tour stops at. Charlie Chaplin loved this village.

Church of St Anne Shandon - Cork, Ireland

    Church of St Anne Shandon

SHANDON CHURCH St Anne's Church, high on a northside hill,…read moreis one of the most familiar landmarks in Cork City, visited by many tourists but generally ignored as a visit by the locals. I walked up there recently and enjoyed my stroll. The historic church has eight bells 8 which weigh 6 tons and first rang out over the city in 1752. The patients in the nearby (now closed) North Infirmary would often have been disturbed from their slumber by the bells' vibrations (lessened in modern times by improvements in placement). But it is the clocks on the sides of the church tower that have most engaged Corkonians over the years who jokingly called them the Four Liars as it was reckoned that the four clocks never agreed on the time! Not that I've heard that joke recently! The "Goldie Fish" mounted high on the church has entered the local literature and indeed Shandon comes up regularly in the songs and poems of the city. Fr Prout's nostalgic lines below are probably the most famous "With deep affection and recollection, I oft times think of those Shandon Bells" Nowadays, after your visit to the church, where you can get to ring the bells and enjoy the view over the city, you may take a rest on the seats in the adjoining St Anne's Park before walking back down to the city centre.

Living right under the bell tower for one year and half and having to endure the other false notes is a completely other story. The entrance is expensive and the climbing quite dangerous. Drivers were very nice, and I felt they were very accommodating of foreigners. Also very funny! In addition, a cruise ship was in at Cobh, so the buses were SRO for a couple of hours, but everyone stayed cheerful and positive. Great day, great tour. Five Stars, Cork City Tours!

It was our first full day in Cork, and we had just finished having breakfast, and wanted to get a…read moresense as to what the area had to offer. As we had had general success with city tours in Dublin and Galway we figured why not, there are certainly worse ways to spend a couple of hours. That's probably technically true - we could have spent a couple of hours fighting off pickpockets or being strangled by an elephant. But at least with those activities the level of expectation would have been minimal (and hey, what stories we'd have to share!). We waited with a group of others near the foot of Oliver Plunkett Street on a surprisingly humid early Sunday afternoon (word to the wise - at the time we visited Ireland, the weather was more consistent with our experiences in Florida than our expectations for the British Isles, so one doesn't necessarily require heavy-layered clothing in the summertime). The bus arrived on time, and we were able to secure spots on the roof. In some limited ways the ride was informative - we did learn about tours we could take of nearby places, and we were informed about some freaky churches in the area. The close calls with foliage was also surprisingly entertaining. But unlike other rides, there was no personality from the driver. In fact, there was no interaction from the driver, apart from collecting our tolls, as the commentary was pre-recorded, and boring. So, my recommendation would be to consult one of the tourist shops to inquire about things to do in the area (i.e. Ring Of Kerry, Cobh, The Blarney Stone), and to simply walk around the River Lee island to take the city sights in yourself.
