The folks at Paddy's take care of their patrons. The food is always good. The service is always quick. And Tuesdays are super cheap.

Been going here a while. Great for a beer, but the appetizers are crap. Good taco salad, that's about it.

An Oasis in one of the loveliest villages in Canada, Neustadt, ON…read more A family-run business that spills over in excellent service and fare. They welcome (often) big groups and have a lovely (on the small side) patio where you can take on village life for a bit.

Decided to try the take out fish and chips tonight. This place has changed hands a few times in…read morerecent years and I'm looking forward to seeing it thrive. They have done a nice job sprucing things up a bit and revamping the kitchen. Hope to see the red carpet in the dining room go at some point. A bit under staffed as they get on their feet a lot of work for one person at front of house to manage, quite a long wait for walk ins due to covid restrictions on the dining room. Definitely call ahead for a reservation. Staff was friendly and polite took our order correctly. Our meals where pretty good! We got two orders of the Fisherman's platter. One with fries and one with a Ceasar salad. Breading on the fish was light the halibut was a nice large piece! Cooked perfectly nice and flakey not greasy at all. The scallops and shrimp where cooked well too. Chips where fresh and light. The Ceasar salad was not worth the 3.50$ dollars for the upgrade. They just tossed two strips of bacon with it. No croutons, red onion or even parmasean. Was also dissapointed that they didn't do a home made tartar sauce and also no lemon provided with the fish. At first I was excited to see the paper in the take out bag! Then realized they wrapped the take out box in paper. Hopefully they will cut back on the waste and just wrap the fish in that beautiful paper moving forward. Would really love to see this place stick to fish and chips and sea food options and perfect their sides. Would love to see more fish and seafood meals and stay away from the burgers etc and really specialize on the seafood. There's plenty of wing and burger family restaurants and I think they could really make a go of it if they keep it simple, fresh and refined! Found it a bit pricey but overall enjoyed out meals great piece of fish! This cost us 70$ with tax.

we were seated in what was like a after thought in the restaurant, almost like a school canteen,…read moreeven though I had booked a table. we did ask to be moved into the other section of the restaurant but that was a big fat no. and yet, because we were in listening area. found out there was space for those who hadn't booked, and they got seated in that area. food was ok, the special was aunt Vicky fish and chips, nice size but not as good as we thought it could be, more batter than fish. my daughter had a chicken burger, with no mayo or dressing of any sort on it.also None of the beers my husbands likes were on offer. so had to go with something similar. this was the first time we had been there and it will be my last. the waitress was good, didn't bother hovering which is good for us. I would give it a 4 out of ten. to make the room we were in, make it less canteen like, should get rid of looking into kitchen no one wants to see there food being prepared and make it a cosier area. every spot in the other area had a tv, maybe just one large on the wall. meant to feel like a pub type place not a canteen.
