Had to bring my car to Paddock to do allot of needed engine repairs. Even though it wasn't cheep, it was well worth every penny. The diagnosis and repairs were done at an amazing speed (put my last mechanic to shame), but to top the cake Aubrey Putnam, the customer care manager at Paddock was very nice and helpful and definitly knew what she was talking about, making it very clear and understandable what needed to be done. Avoid this predatory service department. They use NYS Inspections as extortion.Eight months ago, they told me my brake pads were at 3mm and quoted $746. I went home, measured them myself at 6mm (double what they claimed), but elected to replace all pads and rotors myself anyway.I returned recently for a routine oil change and NYS Inspection. They intentionally failed my inspection under a generic "Service Brake System" code, verbally claiming my pads were down to 4mm and demand $996 (a 25% increase from their last quote) to fix it. I pulled the wheels at home and measured the pads myself--they are at 8mm.They are actively falsifying safety component measurements to trap customers on a 15-day rejection clock and force thousand-dollar repairs. I have already passed inspection at an honest, independent shop and have submitted a formal fraud complaint and timeline to the NYS DMV Consumer Services Unit. Do not trust them. Thanks for the response. One rotor has some surface rust, which is subjective and open to opinion. What is not subjective are the actual brake measurements. Your report stated that my front pads had 70% wear and the rear pads had 50% wear, and you "cautioned" them. Those measurements were inaccurate and misleading. I already replaced the brakes once based on your previous false measurements, and after inspecting them myself, the reported wear percentages do not reflect the actual condition of the brakes. I would also like to emphasize the 33% price increase for a front rotor pad replacement because you had the leverage of pulling my sticker. I would HIGHLY AND STRONGLY URGE to anyone, NEVER to step foot on Paddock Chevrolet lot! Unfortunately, I should have taken the advice from several people I spoke with who said to stay away, but I proceeded with a purchase of a use vehicle. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt feeling people sometimes don't have the best experience but that doesn't always mean the same for everyone. I WAS WRONG! To summarize, I purchased the used vehicle, which I fully understood the realism of the mileage and year of the car, and immediately on the thruway drive home the wheels started to shake. Keep in mind, this was also after making a trip to pick up the vehicle, which was paid in full, for them to tell me I have to come back a week later because they didn't bother to properly do lien paperwork with the old owner as I was on my way to the dealership! Once again, I tried to stay reasonable regarding the used vehicle. I took the car to Dunn Tire, spent $150, and 3 out of 4 tires were on backwards and not balanced. Fast forward a month, we are very big on proactive maintenance and check fluid levels often, no oil! Went and changed oil, just to be safe, even though they specifically told me that was part of their point inspection for the sale of a used car. That point forward we were putting oil in the vehicle every 3-4 days, depending on distance of driving. Fast forward over the next several months of the nightmare taking the car to their service department multiple times, then they request I take it to another dealers service department, which took them an hour to determine a major engine issue. Multiple phone conversation, multiple different people, multiple trips to the dealer, run around, more phone conversation, more excuses, reaching a point where phone calls are not returned after saying they would try and do their best in making this situation right, to basically get to the point of them expressing it's not their problem, I should have bought their $4000 extended warranty, etc, etc, etc. To make matters even worse, this was my sons first vehicle, and he loved it. There service department is either out right liars or TOTAL incompentents! They do not do proper vetting of vehicles and I do not believe they do any proper point inspections before throwing a used vehicle on the lot for a quick buck! There sales team members are rude and dismissive and could care less about your experience after you are not their problem anymore! I NEVER want this to ever happen to anyone else! We lost thousands of dollars trying to dig out of the nightmare for a car we only had possession of for 8 months! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! We have so many options in WNY, PLEASE use the other options! I did have to wait quite awhile for the finance guy to finish up the paperwork when picking up the vehicle . I really wanted another Chevy Trax, but since they were heavily back ordered, I settled on a Chevy Equinox . It is a pretty nice SUV that will keep me safe during those Buffalo winters . Brought my vehicle in with the issue I needed fixed already found. I advised the service representative I had a speed limiter on my van from the prior company that owner it that I wanted reprogrammed to remove so I could go over a certain speed. The service representative and a technician immediately said, "hmm not too sure about that", which should have been my sign to leave... After signing a "Diagnosis Fee Waiver" and leaving my vehicle with them, I left to walk my 20 minutes home. Right when I got home (only took them a few minutes to look at my vehicle?) I got a call from Paddock stating, "Yeah we think it could either be a speed limiter or some aftermarket wiring in the back causing this issue, do you want us to continue looking into it? It will cost you more." The aftermarket wiring was a single wire connected from a very obviously placed portable battery, up to a fan. Not connected to the van wiring in any way, and no modification to the stock van wiring have taken place. I said no, do not continue to charge me and picked up the van. So I basically paid a $110 diagnosis fee, although I had already diagnosed it was a speed limiter causing it, for nothing. Just seemed like a scam overall. I brought it to another shop, they agreed it was a speed limiter, and reprogrammed it within the hour to remove it. That is all I was asking for, but Paddock could not deliver and I'm out $110 because of it. read more

My sales experience was nothing spectacular however I don't ask for or expect much. Also my purchase was unexpected and therefore unplanned due to demise of my previous car due to age. Since getting Arcee (my aveo) I have been coming to Paddock service for most oil changes and always for their vast mileage service menu. At first you would think there would be a family loyalty or customer loyalty plan. Both of my parents bought their cars here, most of their service happens here and yet even though the majority of my business is brought here I am just another schmuck. The service of the Customer Care Managers is inconsistent, some have looked into my previous service history to recommend what to do and others just up-sell the next higher cost talking above the average person's understanding. They also provide little to know follow-up. This includes by phone or sitting in the lobby.They must make enough on the markup that they dont need to sell on service. I'm not sure if taking too many appointments is a problem either however even though I make an appointment and show up well before my scheduled time I seem to be the last one served, pushed out to a later end time and end up taking the shuttle back to wait it out at home or walking to my parents' house. Overall car ownership is expensive and if you want to keep your car in great shape be prepared to shell out some bucks however without the cushion of great service the pain to the wallet is greatly felt. read more

We went to visit Paddock Chevrolet after making an appointment with "Ron". We didn't know to much about Chevis but we're anxious to see what Paddock had to offer! First impression was wow, they're a bigger dealership than I remember from 1990s! Clean, modern, & impressive show room upon arrival! We drove a black Equinox all wheel drive Premier! I couldn't believe how loaded this car was! I think my eyes and sensory were in overload, in the best way possible! The 2 toner beige/black leather seats were gorgeous! The inside of vehicle felt like luxury meets sporty all in one SUV! The outlets and charging options were endless, heated/cooling seats, lumbar support, 360 degree back up camera, heated steering wheel and soooo much more! We were shopping for our 20 year old daughter and myself to share a vehicle. The outside of Equinox was beautiful but wasn't sure if it was fresh & modern outside like the inside! I was worried suv was to big and loaded, coming off a car! This SUV feels solid like cars should still feel like! I can't say enough for the Professional and kind spirited salesman Ron & his colleague Frank! I was so impressed with this dealership! We had to decide between 2 SUVs today, at 2 different manufacturers/dealers! Just bought a brand new Chevy Silverado 2500 on 03/23/24. Upon picking it up I noticed the steering wheel was not straight while driving in a straight line. After contacting the salesman Ron Zambito and informing me to come back to the dealership so we could go to service. After going to the service department we were told that there was nothing he could do for me until the vehicle has 750 miles on it cause this issue was caused by the shipping of the truck. I have never heard of this and there is nothing noted on the cooperate website about this issue or any were else on the web. If I would have test drove the vehicle and noticed it I guarantee you they would've fixed it immediately. I booked an appointment for service on my Chevy Tahoe. The person on the phone at the time of the booking was less than knowledgable but I got an appointment. I arrived as scheduled and was told that the service department was backed up and they probably wouldn't be able to get to my vehicle until the next day, which was a Friday. When I asked if possibly the vehicle would be in service through the weekend, the service advisor acknowledged that possibility. At the point, I declined the service appointment and took the vehicle to another Buffalo Chevy dealer, where I was treated with courtesy and respect. I would avoid service at this dealership because if they can't get scheduling correct, I wonder if they can perform service correctly and competently. The car has had all of the scheduled mainatanace performed since new.They told her she needed new brake pads at a cost of $700.00 to pass the inspection and showed her a picture of some rust on the rotor and told that is why. Funny no picture or thickness of the brake pad was given to her. Thankfully she called me and I told her to take the car some place else and the car passed with no problems. Went in early in the morning Saturday to get an oil change. I thought I had an appointment through their website, but I guess it was lost due to bad Wi-Fi. However, I think that was a bad omen for me to avoid this place for future reference. What was initially supposed to be an oil change turned into a busted gasket, brake replacements, tire rotations, and more that I was able to handle financially. Moreover, what was supposed to only take an hour ended up wasting my entire day (closer to 5-6 hours!!) for some general upkeep. This is a place you can buy a car in Kenmore. Its also a place people get their cars repaired. I have been there many times for that aspect. Getting into and out of the parking lot here is a MESS. Just a total mess. They have a sign "Parking next block", but when you get there it snot clearly marked etc. If you need to buy a car, this is probably a great location. And my friends who use it as a oil change etc place are happy. But when I have to go there to drop off and pick people up its always just a nightmare parking wise and turning into the lot from Delaware Avenue wise. 3 stars for the services they offer. 1 for the pakring/access. read more

In my life time, I have purchased three cars. All were Chevy's and all from Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore. On May 8th, I paid in full for a 2024 Chevy Blazer, again from Paddock. On May 14th, just seven days later, the car had to be towed back to Paddock as the transmission quit working. The car was not drivable. The transmission problem was a known issue as bulletins had already been documented by GM. Also, another Blazer was in the Paddock garage with the same issue. After 31 days in the shop, the service manager Dave, said the car was repaired and needed to be picked up. I expressed my concern over keeping the car, now that the New York state lemon law was in effect. I was directed to contact Steven Fildes, Paddock's general manager. Steven, said that my name was on the deed, and as far as he knew that meant the car belonged to me. I mentioned the Lemon law, and he replied "that is New York States Law, not Paddock policy" and then referred me to GM. I had been contacted by Dominic, a GM "executive team member" on May 22nd. Dominic ensured me that he was doing everything possible to get the parts for the vehicle shipped as soon as is possible. He did not say anything else of value across many other conversations. I contacted him after I spoke with Steven, I wanted to discuss my options under the New York Lemon Law, he directed me to the dealership. Dominic offered Chevy reward points as compensation, but refused to discuss anything further until I had picked up the car and "drove it around for the weekend". I am disgusted. If my communication and customer service skills were as poor I would not have a job. It amazes me, that these guys do. I have reached out to my attorney, and am pursuing legal options. If negative stars were a thing, they would be specifically for this place. I bought a used truck from them in August 2015. They delivered the truck with nails in 3 out of 4 tires, and told me that it passed inspection, so it's fine. They offered to pull all the nails and plug the tires. No way. After finally getting them to agree to re-detail the truck, and replace the tires (initially with used ones) I brought it back. Keep in mind this place is almost an hour from my house, and they offered no free rental. I drop the truck off, go on vacation come back, excited to go get my fresh tire, clean truck. Get a ride all the way up there, and what do I see? 4 of the cheapest no name tires they could find, and the bed still caked with dirt under the bed liner. I am livid. I attempt to call my salesman... No answer, then the general sales manager... No answer. I went home, more mad than I've ever been, and built a website. DontBuyPaddock.com a month or so later I get a call from a higher up apologizing, and wanting to make good. He has me bring the truck in, tell him all of my concerns, and even gives me a loaner while they work on it. In the mean time I had to clean the bed out myself, and install a new serpentine belt, so they didn't have to end up dealing with that. They did reimburse me for the belt, but not any of my time. They ended up putting 4 new Goodyear tires on it, adjusting a few things, front end alignment, replaced the badly scratched windshield, and an in house detail job which looked much better than the delta sonic one it had gotten twice before. At this point I take the website down. I'm reasonably happy. The steering is still a bit sloppy, and for a truck with 24k miles this shouldn't be the case, but at this point I feel mildly satisfied. A week or so later I notice an increasingly bad lifter noise when I fire the truck up. I shut it down, and check the oil. Its halfway up the dipstick!!! WTF? I immediately go buy the stuff to do an oil change. I wanted to switch to Pennzoil platinum anyway. As I'm draining the oil it fills my 6qt pan... The truck only holds 6qts. What's going on? I put the plug back in, empty the pan, and finish draining it. It comes up 2/3 of the way full. This is not good. I pull the filter, and let that drain as well, and now the pan is almost topped off again. It had almost DOUBLE the amount of oil than is recommended!!!! I completed the oil change, and all of a sudden the noise is gone. I contacted them again and told them what I found. At this point, I'm convinced that I have a lemon. I have them 2 options to make this right. They finally got back to me and offered a tech to look at the engine with me, and that's it. This would have been the third time the 2 year old truck with 24k on it would have had to go back in. I wanted a different vehicle, or them to make this truck actually worth my while. They wanted to do neither. The whole Paddock company is a joke. The salesmen are pushy, their prices are outrageous, and their service department leaves A LOT to be desired. I urge anyone reading this to go anywhere else to buy a vehicle. You will be taken for a ride you don't want to be on if you go here. read more

After visiting several dealerships we decided to pay a visit to a Paddock Chevrolet because we owned a Chevy before and it was very reliable. We were met by Sales representative Sean Hennessy who was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. We then met with Todd Skinner who was also very nice during the car buying process. Then, we worked with Alissa Miller regarding insurance and plates and she was very patient and kind. Of all the car buying I've done in my 30 plus years, this was by far the smoothest and least stressful experience I've ever had. After leaving the dealership my husband and I were not a quarter of a mile away when our tire blew out. After having issues changing the flat, I called Todd Skinner. He showed up alongside Sean Hennessy to help and neither left until we had everything fixed. (Mind you, the flat tire wasn't even on the car we purchased from them!)These guys are a true blessing and we are so grateful to have come into contact with such kind people. You know which customer I am and can easily look up my info and follow up on your horrible service. Look me up, call me and invite me in to discuss my horrible experiences with each employee present. I know that will not happen but I think Paddock can do a better job following up on customers than telling them to call after reading a bad Yelp review. read more

Bought my truck here a year ago. Staff and sales team were very friendly. Over the past year they have followed up with me to see how everything was going with the truck. Have came for several oil changes, they have been able to get me in and out under 45 minutes. Had poor service years ago in the past but the last year has convinced me to keep coming here. read more

Terrible service. I waited 3 hours for an oil change and rear wheel well liner installation. I kept being told that "we were close to being done" but I continued to wait for several hours. I will go to West Herr for service from now on. I have bought multiple vehicles from Paddock and will not be returning. Obviously Paddock doesn't care about all the negative reviews on Facebook and Yelp since they can't even respond. Update - Its not worth my time to contact Paddock. I went today to test drive a truck because I think I might want to get it ...The salesman (JT ) awesome but unfortunately he wasn't the guy that helped oh I mean didn't help. So he comes in sits me at the table asked about my current car we share information . He says I will be back disappeared for a while comes back asked more questions then comes back with the purchase amount WHAT ? Can I look at the car ???? At that point I was over it and left ...
