Also a note on great customer service: we went out on an afternoon trip. Due to high winds, and therefore high waves, the captain turned around before getting to the Atlantic Ocean. We were given the option to get our $$ back or reschedule. We rescheduled and had a wonderful time the next day. Appreciate the great customer service and flexibility. We weren't prepared for a boat trip and they made sure we had the best time, bringing us a cooler and towels. We also were going to bring some elderly and disabled family on board and they had accommodation for them as well. They also told us about the history of the area and they made great restaurant recommendations. If you don't book with them you are making a huge mistake. The minute we met Captain Ben, we were given good quality, clean, and well fitting life vests for the kids. We were helped onto a spacious boat, shown the boat's storage features as well as shade options for the kids (a huge plus as a parent!). We were off to a great start! The cruise to a barrier island and tour up the Intracoastal to Ocean Isle was perfect. Captain Ben was personable, professional, and completely receptive to our desires for our charter experience. He handled the wake perfectly to allow for some bumpy fun for the bigger kids but minded the comfort of our tot in the back. We came on a day when we thought the weather at the beach was going to be less than ideal - lucky for us, the Zipline tours operate rain or shine. We ended up having great weather for it too! It was super easy to book. Once we got there, they got us kitted out, then we went through a quick (yet thorough) instruction on how to safely zipline. It was a group of 5 of us plus our guides. The tour took about 2 - 2.5 hours, and you get to go on 10 different ziplines. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Especially if the weather is going to be less than ideal and you need some way to kill time. Our tour guides, Chase, Miles, and Zach, were great! Thanks y'all!

For the Zipline tour, we had Jesse, Margaret, and Lacey as our guides and all of them were great! Jesse is very fun and funny, Margaret is super sweet, and Lacey had amazing knowledge on fun facts throughout the tour! The zip lines were very fun, and all three guides took every measure to ensure our safety, creating a good sense of trust. We all felt like a group of friends by the end of our tour. They also take photos at the beginning, middle, and end of the tour with specific spots for photo ops which I truly appreciate! (You do have to pay for the photos.) I will absolutely recommend The Swamp Park to friends and family! We plan to come back and try the ATV tour next!

If the bite stopped in one area, Capt Mike Sr, and Capt Mike Jr, had already planned the next spot to make sure they were doing all they could to give us the best experience. Their boat (A Bertram aka one of the best fishing machines ever built) rode like a Cadillac, though the weather was great, the afternoon breeze kicked up and as the waves noticeably increased it was still a very comfortable ride, everything about the boat is top knotch and obviously well maintained. If you're looking to go on a charter with guys that treat you and your family like their own family, while also educating you, and making everything super easy and fun, Capt Mike Jr, and Capt Mike Sr, are your guys. These guys are among the best people I've ever met. Very knowledgeable, and stop at nothing to give you the best experience while giving you a fun and safe environment.
