We took a progressive dinner tour - 'Ride and Dine' The trip was a pleasant newer urban area, mainly off street besides a few crossings, which included park paths and war monuments. First let me say Bear our guide offered us the option of a refund when we arrived. It was raining pretty hard at the time but In watching the radar we knew it would likely stop soon. And it was just our party of 4 in the tour so we all said what the heck let's do this. Bear offered us free plastic ponchos and off we went. He did an good job with safety instruction thru out the tour, gave us information about the park and park owners and took our group pics often. The only thing I think they need to either provide or inform the guest is mosquito repellent. Lots of mosquitoes and in some places we stopped they were swarming on us. We had to keep moving to not be eaten up. But moving is fun so off we'd go. My husband and I were trying to find fun things to do with our friends who were visiting and we all loved this experience. read more

I can't say enough how much my family enjoyed our time on the Segway tour. To start, because of my daughter's age we stopped into the office to see if she'd be able to handle the Segway safely. Aaron, was very good at showing her around the Segway and doing a test ride to be sure of her safety. He went the extra mile to try to schedule us on a tour where we wouldn't be with others in case she needed more guidance. Well..it turned out she was a whiz on the Segway and our family thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Huntington Beach state park with Jack. Jack was a great teacher. He taught us the basics first, to get off/on, the how to turn and stop and change terrain on the 45 degree angle. He then taught us a bit more as we went along. I liked that, as it wasnt over whelming. He was fantastic. Huntington Beach is beautiful and we had a ball riding the segways. I don't think Ive ever been on a tour and had so much fun. Jack took us through so many different parts of the park. We went up and down inclines, on bridges, alligator alley and then off-roading in a forest trail. We had a great time in Huntington Beach State Park. They did training and insured everyone was good to go. They provide helmets and lead the way. It was a little muddy so we didn't get to go down some trails. But actually I enjoyed the higher speed on concrete. We saw an 2 alligators And herons. But since most of the action was on the causeway you really don't need the Segway but they're a lot of fun To try out. A little pricey but it's Myrtle Beach. Worth every penny! Most fun I've had in ages! Jack was an excellent teacher and tour guide. The park was wonderful. Full of history and critters. We saw several gators and numerous birds. I'll definitely being going again! It's a bit hard to stand for two hours but Jack stopped enough to keep us from getting too uncomfortable. Being an old, disabled, retiree, I was afraid it would be too much for me but I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. I was sore the next day but not too bad. Best activity ever!!! read more

I've taken Segway tours every place I've visited that offer them and this was the first I've been disappointed in. Bear was our guide and chose to wait 20 minutes for the party of 5 that was late and did not honor the 3 of us who came on time (and even early). The 5 included some younger people and he kept them up front close to him, so the three of us who were there first, missed much of the narrative that started before we caught up with the group. Bear did not curtail his language, especially with the young people in our group, very offensive. Most of the information was interesting, not so much the personal information about Bear, and of course the Park is absolutely beautiful. The very first time I didn't tip the guide. We are in our 60's and were concerned with being able to ride the segways. We were on vacation and I was not pleased with the pressure to book ahead of time. They are very forthcoming that they will not refund your money, so we did not book until we were they and could see that the weather was predicted to be pretty nice. Our guide was great and our fears regarding our ability to take this ride were totally unfounded. Aaron was patient with us and a really good instructor. This was an excellent day trip. We rode the Segways at Huntington Beach State Park with the lovely hour guide Angie. She was amazing. She informed us of the basic Segway riding technique in a very short amount of time to insure that we had ample time to ride. We rode all over the park and Angie even took us off-roading! Awesome day! We took 16 middle aged to young adults on a corporate retreat in mid-February for 3 nights. We love having fun and new activities. During our online search, we came across the Segway tours. The owner was excellent to deal with as they normally only allow up to 8 people on the Huntington State Park segway tour but he called and was able to work out an exception being that it was really the offseason. We broke up into 2 groups of 8. The tour guides, Angie and Aaron were fantastic! None of us had ever been on a segway so there were some of us that were pretty nervous. Not only did the guides train us and allow us to feel very comfortable, but they were able to pace the tour that all riding skills had a great time! After touring the entire State Park, we went on some off road trails which were great! Nobody fell, even though I ran over the tires of a couple of colleagues in my best attempt to fall! I would strongly recommend this tour and Myrtle Beach Segway! read more

Our experience with Myrtle Beach Segway was the highlight of our trip. We all tried this for the first time and were very happy with this company and the whole experience. They don't require you to pay in advance so there is no cancellation fee. You pay upon arrival (cash or credit card). The guide was very friendly and made learning easy. I strongly recommend the segway tour of North Myrtle Beach. It was very easy to learn how to drive and steer a segway. Because segways have a top speed of 13mph, the speed of a bike, it is safe yet exhilarating. Phil, the tour guide did an excellent job taking us through the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports complex. He is very patient and a great instructor. He showed each of us how to drive a segway in a very short time and we were on our way. We went around the big lake where water ski activities took place, the amphitheaters and nature trails. We saw all kinds of wildlife including a large turtle and cranes. NNB park is a beautiful place to explore and a place I have never been to, despite going to MB for many years. One tip is to watch a youtube video on how to drive a segway before going, which makes the learning experience faster and smoother. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more
