The outside courses have misting fans at every hole, which is really great for a warm day like when we visited and the indoor courses were just comfortable in general. All of the staff that we interacted with were really nice and helpful. Draft beer is $13 which is high, especially for this area. kids 12 and under eat free with their pass which is a good deal. The tracking features & video recorded hole in ones were super neat too. I'd come back for sure.

Pricing is a little expensive for a "few rounds of putt putt" during a summer weekday but the day membership does last until midnight (or 1AM on weekends), so you can leave and come back later or spend hours there working on your game in indoor comfort. If you are there for 2-3 hours, and hit all 36 indoor and 18 outdoor holes, it can be a bargain but any less than that it's a bit more expensive compared to a competitor that you use for your long game. Bonus - The 8-12 year olds get a free scoop at the end of their game! Food pricing is similar to other golf entertainment venues and you can walk the course with your drink but you have to consume food in the restaurant/bar area. These courses are not easy like so many children's ones are. In fact, even the blue level (which allows 11-13 year olds had super challenging elements. One that I was barely able to complete. I need to work out (upper body) for 6 months before considering the black and double black courses. Prepare for some bruises and some challenges and all-in-all a great time. The zip lines are so much fun and the green course that had many different zip lines became our group favorite. The shop is stocked with drinks and snacks (popsicles were amazing in that heat) and my son absolutely loved eating s'mores at the camp fire after our climb. They treat the property for mosquitoes but they use a natural treatment so I still recommend bug spray if you will be there around dusk. You will have to use a Port-a-potty for the bathroom but they weren't too scary. We will definitely return in the fall when the temps are cooler!

Upon arrival our shuttle driver helped take our food and drinks over to the pontoon where we met our driver for the pontoon for the few hours we were out. We drove to a side of the lake where it was extremely quiet and peaceful as we anchored down for a little bit and took out our donuts and other water devices. Our pontoon driver was awesome and interactive, taking professional photos for us and engaging in great conversation. People in TN sure are way more friendly than in other places! We got back to shore safely and overall had an incredible experience. Ain't nothing like a day on a lake! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

However, I had a really fun and fabulous time last weekend on the Harpeth River with a group of friends. This city girl can get down with nature...for just a few hours at least. I sincerely appreciated the options that vary from just 1 hour on the river on upwards to 12 hours for the advanced river rat. We opted for the 3.5 hour adventure and it was the perfect amount of water, beer, and paddling for this broad. I don't think that I'll ever be interested in the option of "on-site primitive camping or camping along the river bank." Call me a wimp, but a Heavenly Bed at the Westin sounds more my speed! Pricing is based per canoe and kayak and when we mentioned an "Internet Special" we enjoyed $10 off the price of a rental. For an afternoon of fun for 2 cost us around $45 which included the rental of the canoe, paddles, life preserves, and seat cushions. The staff was friendly and dropped us off at the docking point and helped us get into our canoes. The river was a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the weather and when I was feeling especially sporty, I put my jiggly arms to work by paddling like a mad-woman. I would imagine that this is the secret workout for Jennifer Anniston + Michelle Obama...how else would they get such sculpted biceps.? Just sayin. The rules of the river prohibit booze but I can assure you that our group were not the only ones that smuggled a case of PBR in our coolers + vodka in water bottles. The staff doesn't check coolers + backpacks so you can certainly bring your booze along with sandwiches, fruit, and Sun Chips of course! You can take the city out of the girl but NOT the vodka.
