Not has changed here.. This is very old shopping center.. I…read morelived here most my life.. It was good till the late 80's Something changed by late 1990's the internet was slowly taking over. And since that time this place gotten worse.. Sure you can' slap some paint on it.. But all the major dept stores are now gone Over 400 business went under in 2008 hard telling now. This place is like nostalgia for some . The good old days are not coming back. I would show our mayor pictures of this place back in the old days And say what are you going to do now..? This place closes I won't miss it.

One-stop shopping!!!…read more Can't beat that!!! Yeah, yeah... It's Norwalk, Ca... But... You'd be surprised at what gems you can find here.... Norwalk Town Center has the following businesses: *Super Saver Cinemas 8 *Fashion Avenue *The Avenue *5 Points Barber Shop *Children's Dental *Klazzy Kutz *La Familia & Women's Medical Clinic *Luna's Nails & Spa *Sally Beauty Supply *99 Cent Store *Bally Total Fitness *dd's Discounts *Fallas Paredas *Baskin Robbins *Chinatown Express *Sam's Burgers *Starbucks *Tacos Chihuahua *Allstate Insurance *Bank of America *Kumon *State Farm Insurance *Ana's Flowers *Auto Zone *Dollar Tree *Gamestop *GNC Nutrition *Payless Shoesource *Radio Shack *T-Mobile Since it's the season, there is also a Halloween costume store set up in one of the vacant lots. If you can't find everything in Norwalk Town Square, then there is a Ralph's market and a CVS pharmacy close by. There are other restaurants and fast food chains close by, as well. Parking here... Some areas it's park at your own risk. Parking at the BofA and by the 99 Cent Store can be pretty hectic, so be careful and mind your own! Alot of the clothing businesses do not allow food or drink, so don't even try. I learned the hard way on that... Norwalk Town Square... Give the local shops a chance...

One of the few remaining malls that's still hopping!…read more A large selection of shops of all types. The main areas are kept pretty clean because they have an ample staff of folk, and their food court has a good selection. The value is in the selection of shops, and there's almost no dead/open spots, every shop is filled - all offering deals this time of year.

However... with a single story comes a TON of walking. Be prepared for that! There's a lot of your standard mall stuff here, so it's not worth mentioning about the department stores, but the mall portion is a fine experience. There are lots of clothing stores and dessert places, and there's a movie theater and some nice restaurants, but I will say there's NOT much to do as a fun activity for families with small kids. Older kids will have some things to do like VR or build-a-bear, but smaller kids will not. Food court is fine, there's some good options and I actually like that it's next to the entrance/exit of the mall so you don't have to be "stuck" in a second story hidden area forcing you to walk by stores while getting out of the mall. Standard mall food court options like Sbarro, it's really just a place to hang out. Again, nothing special, but super clean and open space brings this to an average 3/5 for me.

I visited Stonewood Center with someone, and instead of feeling lively or fun, the whole place made…read moreme feel tense and unsafe. I tried to enjoy it the way I usually do with new places, but the atmosphere felt unpredictable in a way that teenagers or young adults definitely wouldn't enjoy. As I walked around, I kept seeing groups of people arguing loudly or acting in ways that made the environment feel unstable, and it surprised me how often it happened. It wasn't just one moment -- it felt like something concerning was happening every time I turned a corner. What bothered me even more was how poorly monitored the mall seemed. There were areas with almost no staff or security around, which made the whole place feel even more unpredictable. Even the parking lot felt uncomfortable because of the lighting and the people wandering around who didn't seem to be there for shopping. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt like I had to constantly watch my surroundings, which is the opposite of what a mall should make you feel. I really tried to give Stonewood Center a fair chance, but the longer I stayed, the more I realized I wasn't having any fun at all. I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel comfortable, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to teenagers or anyone who wants to enjoy their time without worrying about what might happen around them. I've lived for 24 years, and I've been to plenty of malls, but this was one of the few times where the environment itself felt like the problem. I only visited Stonewood Center once before writing this review, and honestly, that was enough. Because of how unsafe it felt, I'm giving it a 1‑star rating and hoping it improves so people can feel comfortable going there again.

They have a big parking structure, that is constantly packed with people. There is a constant flow of people coming in and out. When I come here, I enjoy looking at the Korean snack store that recently just expanded. You can get instant noodles and pay for the hot water so you can eat it there! This store is also a souvenir store. Besides this place, the source has fashion stores, bakeries, coffee, pastries, golf, a kid's play center, and more food! Like malls do, they also have a Photo Booth area. Prices vary per shop, but everything is reasonable. The source is cool because it's where small businesses can advertise themself, and Korean culture can thrive. They have a mini night life here alongside celebrating the love of kpop, cosmetics, skincare, and food! I've heard that this place was always hip and fun, and I'm hoping the current reputation exceeds expectations in the near future with all the changes they've been doing!

I'm writing from the perspective of someone who recently visited this mall for the first time in 30…read moreyears. This mall is a mix of contradictions. The layout and aesthetics are a bit dated; but it is clean and well maintained. The two key anchors were Walmart and Sears; Walmart remains, but Sears is defunct. On the exterior facing La Palma, there are some big-name merchandisers: Burlington, Ross, DSW, T*J*Maxx. Inside, there is a cohort of determined smaller merchants--but there's a lot of un-leased retail space, too. There's a very nice Kirkorian movie theater. There are more than a few restaurants and food shops that get shout-outs on social media. I think you go to this shopping center if one of the tenants is your destination. Unfortunately, this mall is not a destination in itself.

There weren't too many people and shops to begin with. It felt drab and dreary, not bustling and lively. I was also disappointed with the selection. They only had cheap stores like Ross and TJ Maxx, so the shopping experience felt cheap. Don't get me wrong, I do love cheap shopping as well, but the vibe of the mall just felt unsophisticated. What was interesting though was they did have an arcade that featured bigger rides which seemed nice. They also have a big parking lot with lots of spaces. Overall, I would probably not come to this mall again unless I was doing something nearby to pass the time such as getting auto repairs or looking for cheap shopping in the area.
