There is a man who lives on the first floor, right outside the doors, who is a senior with disabilities. I am on the third floor, and every time they wake me up. I've asked the dance studio to please deal with this problem, but they simply ignore me. Sometimes people stand outside laughing and talking as well. There is a quite simple solution: exit the front door after 10 pm. I have multiple videos of this happening.

I went here for my first dance lesson outside of college (because of covid, this was over a year…read moreago!) for the Hip Hop I/II lesson that took place around lunchtime of Sunday. Although the instructor was a substitute, I felt the quality of the lesson was not diminished at all. Pace of the lesson is beginner friendly, and even though it took me the first half of the hour to adjust and remember the vibe of dancing, I was still able to pick up the fundamentals and feel confident in myself dancing a few 8 counts at the end without hesitation. I had a great time, even with the fact that the class was really small (about 6 people), as it normally feels a bit intimidating for me to dance in small groups, at least for now. The only issue for me is the commute as I don't have a car to commute from downtown Seattle, but whenever my friend with a car wants to do more dance lessons, this will certainly be the first place I will think of! Besides, this is one of my coworkers go-to dance studio in the past before he moved closer to the city, and he has mentioned that before covid, some lessons are so popular you have to pay in advance to secure a spot!

He is encouraging, humble and creative in his teaching modalities. If I'm not doing it right he will quickly find a different way to teach me so that I get the step. He has given me confidence and enjoyment in learning dance. So much that my husband and I are continuing to take private lessons. I can't say enough positives about Premier Dance School. He's always very encouraging with his students, and is ready to help you reach your dance goals, whether it be a fun date night with your honey, to learn or improve your social dance skills or even to compete. Group classes are tons of fun, and are a great intro to ballroom dance. Nathan is really good about demonstrating and explaining the steps to new students, while adding variations that challenge more experienced students. If you're looking to learn to dance, or are looking for a new dance home, Premier Ballroom is the place to be! Oh, and gentlemen, just a note - ladies LOVE a man who can dance! (just sayin'...)

No teacher has been able to figure out what's going on and make us BOTH feel comfortable, so we haven't returned, while dancing/not dancing has been a constant source of tension in our home. My husband has kindly agreed to give it another try after we moved to Everett, and I found First Class Ballroom online. We "dropped in" on their couple's ballroom class, and had a wonderful experience! Both Holly and Lars are extremely knowledgeable and can instantly pick up on what needs to be corrected, but they do it in such a fun way. The lesson went at a perfect pace -- not too fast, but not too slow. They managed to keep me from getting bored while allowing enough time and repetition so that by the end of the class my husband was leading his first Waltz! They also stayed after class listening to our "story" and really hearing us out! We found that they could somehow relate to both of us and were really encouraging towards my husband and understanding towards me. They know their stuff and have a really great, warm, and inviting atmosphere at the ballroom. For seasoned dancers: the floor is AMAZING and the studio pretty spacious. Come take advantage of it before everyone else finds out! We are coming back tonight for lesson #2! Can't wait.

Neither of us have ANY dance experience, so we were very pleasantly surprised at how Natasha was able to teach us. Originally, we were just hoping to not step on each other's feet or revert to our middle school dance styles. We got so much more! Natasha was able to use our song of choice and choreograph an entire routine that was so beautiful and felt like us. She took our ideas and suggestions to heart and made it so fun. She also was very flexible and communicative, easy to schedule with. We enjoyed going to classes leading up to the wedding and everyone LOVED our dance on the big day. It definitely stands out as one of our favorite parts of the day. We can't recommend Natasha and her team enough.
