I have been in search of good Birria Tacos for awhile now and I have to say this spot did not disappoint! It's a no brainer to come for Taco Tuesday! This spot offers a free taco on Tuesday with any taco order! Just don't forget to mention it to the cashier! The spot was packed when I got here but we managed to get a table for 5! The wait was not long at all! The kitchen is an open concept so you can see them making your tacos in front of you! I don't know about you but a good taco has to come with good salsas/hot sauces! And boy did they deliver! The sauce bar was open with every sauce individually packed in containers and condiments packed in their own bag! It was super convenient with a sign explaining each spice level ranging from mild to what I thought was liquid fire which I loved! lol After dinner, a gentleman walked around to each table and asked us for feedback! Is it too much to ask for customer service. Last time I went the cashier said she did not know how to accept the coupon which I received from Pacos Tacos via text message. I decided to give it another try with my daughter. The beef meat on her tacos seemed to be old and dry. Simply no excuses for food to be served like that. Along with some cold beans...it was definitely not hot at all. For my three "Rock"tacos with the cheese I was charged $2 extra to switch the meat to pork. It would not have been an issue if they would have our sone actual meat in the tacos. I opened one up and was like WTH I paid extra money for? Pure garbage! I can't see myself returning to this location again, given the amount of money I spent! I regret not taking pictures to accompany this review. read more

Ok, I had very high expectations of this place and was very disappointed. The restaurant was clean and the energy was very positive. The food however was bad. I tried the PACO TACO and the meat was dry and overcooked with no type of seasoning , I also had the ramen and the ramen was literally just dollar ramen with some cheese and meat in it. The cashier even asked if I wanted onions and guacamole and still managed to mess up my order. I asked about the item and she said that my order was correct. Went here with a couple of friends and it was great. I've been wanting to try birria tacos so I got the Rock Tacos. They were so good! The consume was a nice touch and I loved the sauce bar. I went on taco Tuesday and it turns out you get a free taco! I asked what the worker recommended and she quickly said the pork. I got it and it did not disappoint! She also recommended the swirl margarita. The survive was amazing. One of my friends dropped her food and they happily and quickly replaced it! I finally got around to trying this place out this past Saturday and I was disappointed. I ordered 2 pork tacos and 2 roast beef tacos with beans and rice and a drink. The total came to $18.50. Ok it's a bit expensive but as long as the food is great I don't care. Well the food was not great or good. It was average. I asked for the pork tacos to not include pineapple in them and of course they still put it in there because the "cook" was already preparing my food as I was talking to the cashier. I'm their only customer BTW why the hell are they trying to rush my order before I finalize the purchase???? The rice was ok but the beans were canned generic pinto beans. The roast beef tacos were ok but the corn tortillas were not strong enough to hold the meat so they wrap 3 tortillas for each taco. And now for the reason why I'm writing this review. They dumped about a 1/2 pound of rancid smelling onions in my box. I ate the meal in my car and that smell is still in my car 4 days later. I only had the food in my car for 20 minutes. I will never be back to this poor excuse of Mexican food! read more

I had looked forward to visiting with my wife for a casual dining experience. What a disappointment!!! First entering the building, the music is very loud and echoing so you can barely hear any one speaking to you. Next with all the employees and I being the only one placing an order, I was ignored while the employees took care of their conversations first. After 5 or more minutes and just before I turned to walk out someone noticed me. When I asked a few questions about the menu and recommendations, the response was almost a non- response. At best the food was mediocre with poor presentation. The employees were loud among themselves which added to the noise discomfort. The echoing noice was painful and we left before finishing the meal. It was just a bad experience all the way around. Try El Patron if you want a really good taco! read more

My very first time trying this place out as I hear many good reviews. So I told the young lady that I wanted 4 orders of rock tacos to go. This is not what I got as in the pictures provided it came with 3 tacos with the dip. Instead I received 4 orders of 2 steak soft tacos? Definitely not what I wanted nor anything close to what it had looked like. Might be a communication error on their end or didn't hear me very well I suppose. The tacos were okay. Sooooo I ordered a to go pick up order tonight. My husband came all the way home and I realized that much of our order was wrong. Only 2 of the 5 items I ordered were mine. However, we were hungry and just ate it. The reason they lost the star was because it was a pretty big mix up from what I actually ordered HOWEVER, they still got 4 nearly 5 stars in my book because it was delicious! Tried Paco's for the first time today and it is excellent! I saw a Facebook post with a voucher for the Rock Tacos so both my wife and I got a voucher. First of all, the voucher did not require any other purchase and we each received a full order of three Rock Tacos which are normally $10.56 with tax. More importantly, they were hot, fresh, and delicious! The shell was crispy but light, the chuck roast was tender and flavorful, the cheese was hot and gooey, and the consommé added even more flavor. We also got the Penny (traditional street cheese and onion quesadilla with guacamole) with chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the whole thing was cheesy heaven, especially dunked into the consommé from the tacos. We added various hot sauces, lime, etc from the condiment bar. We each had two tacos and split half the Penny. Washed down with a Tamarind Jarritos it was a filling and tasty lunch. We still have half the Penny and one taco each, which will make a great dinner with rice and refried black beans. The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. Highly recommended, we will be going back soon. My wife is from Dallas and we have tried a number of good Mexican places since we moved to New Orleans. Paco's ranks at the top for authentic, traditional food. And we haven't even tried the Horchata or Margaritas yet! read more
