Then we have the service. Well, the 3 east Indian guys that were arguing about something chose to close up the window and not serve anyone for close to 29 minutes. The food was dry and hard. Fries were dry and hard and cold.. Chicken burgers are not to be deep fried until they are half burned. Loaded means more than one piece of lettuce, with mayo and the rest, and should have a melted piece of cheese on it. A hot dog should be cooked and on a bun that isn't moldy and dry. The works means more than just a hot dog on a bun. Then there are the battered mushrooms. Very very small and very very greasy. We had received 11 tiny mushrooms for 6.50. In years past, this was a great place at which to eat and hang out. Now, it seems to be an excuse to have a business and try to make as much money as possible on bad food, bad service, and bad work ethics. We weren't impressed. We have many friends who live, and visit Winnipeg Beach, Matlock, and Gimli. We won't be recommending this place to any of them. We will definitely not be back either.

Bring your own salad, drinks and order your pizza the way you like it and wait while your custom pizza is fired in their outdoor stone oven. Come at the end of the season to pick your own toppings from the Integrity garden for a real delicious experience. Definitely something you have to do at least one weekend evening this summer.

My wife wanted iced tea, but Brisk was the only product available. She passed. Very heavy on the sugar. Service was good, although at times, things seemed confused. They may have been short-staffed. Unfortunately, the restaurant had a performer scratching out a few old Johnny Cash tunes. When I go to a restaurant, I go for the food, company and lively conversation. This was nearly impossible as we had to shout at each other to be heard over the music. My recommendation - can the music. It added nothing to the experience. The cost was acceptable. There was value for money. However, the piece de resistance was the banana cream crepe. Absolutely spectacular and worth every cent of the $8.50 price tag. If truth be known, I could have had it for dinner and been satisfied. Delicious If you've not been to the Emporium before, I urge you to give it a try this season.

Of course I walked out and then dialed the hotline phone number, only to be greeted by an auto response telling me how important my business was. In the meantime I went to Bill's Sticky Fingers, ordered the Pizzas, and was told I would have a 35 minute wait while the pizzas were prepared. I took that opportunity to walk to Shoppers, & Mille Jean all while on hold at Pizza hotline with the owner Jerry Cianflone telling me every 45 seconds I was next in line. I walked back to Bill's paid for and took my Pizzas home and then I hung up the phone, and was never ever in contact with a human by my watch. According to Cianflone I was "next in line" for 28 minutes!! What a elfin liar. I've ordered pizzasin 5 provinces, and 4 countries over 40 years and this was easily the most amazingly shit service at from a pizza joint ever.
