If I did not help, it would have taken 6 hours to load the truck. When I called to ask where was the 3rd guy they said they were trying to find another person. When I called to let them know I was not pleased, they said they also had other jobs. You can tell they do not have many workers and are spread too thin. The movers were nice and polite but were slow. Very,very slow. It took them 5 hours to load, way, way over the estimated 3.5 hour time. I asked them to pick up the pace as it was taking way too long and dark outside. By the time they left my total time was 9 hours and 50 minute. I paid more than twice what I was quoted. Do yourself a favor and hire another local moving company.

When the bill came, it looked as though both charges were still there, so I called to ask why. This time, my charges were calculated differently. Now it was essentially $150 labor, $150 travel, and $50 fuel surcharge, totaling $350. That means they charged me $200 to drive 15 miles. Even if they came and returned from the same headquarters-- 30 miles away-- that's high, and I'd be willing to bet they went from job to job but charged every customer the "travel and fuel surcharge" as if they made every trip from their headquarters. Once here, they did a good job! But be advised that they have a different system for quoting than they have for charging, which result in a higher-than-quoted price. That left this customer feeling manipulated. Honesty would be a better policy.

Our furniture was supposed to stay on the truck til it went to our new home the manager guaranteed my husband. The furniture was wrapped at that point. when they unloaded there was BLACK streaks all over my couches. my big couch was broken in the center. there is black dust all over the couches. They broke four bookshelves. several pieces of glass cause there is glass all throughout as I unloaded. The topper is while they were in my home and used the restroom one of them left a middle finger on my bathroom wall in the black dust. They offered @$200 to make things right which we have not accepted. The men talked non stop and goofed off. as I stated they were hired til 4:30.
