Shout out to Pacifica Orthodontics! Last month, Dr. Trinh was kind enough to not charge us full price for my son's replacement retainer (an unfortunate flush down the toilet after puking incident) and tonight he was available by cell phone (!!) and stayed on the line with us while we struggled to pull out the wire on the permanent retainer that my son had somehow flipped up and wouldn't go back down. He even offered to drive from SF to his office if we couldn't do it on his own. Everyone at the office has been so kind since we started our orthodontics journey...from our first visit where they explained the financing (yay for teacher discount!) to the fun photo booth in the lobby. I'm an adult who lost her retainer many years ago so I have some movement in my teeth. I have felt a little vain about them not being as straight as the once were. However, I couldn't justify getting them straightened again. With the pandemic I realized I was grinding my teeth again after many years. I was getting headaches, earaches and other symptoms. I bought a pharmacy microwave mouthguard as a temporary fix. It worked and I was feeling better. The more I wore the mouth guard the more I was aware of my clenching. Then I wasn't even confident my bite was lining up right anymore. My dentist recommended I got to Dr. Trinh. Everyone was friendly and the office was very clean. I went in and was reassured that my mouth was fine and some simple Invisalign would help with the minor movement and they and the future retainers would protect my teeth when I sleep from the grinding and clenching so it is a win/win. I was not pressured to get the Invisalign but was given options and the price points to think about. I went today and got my teeth scanned for the molds. Love seeing the technology and not having the molds shoved in my mouth like they did in the 90s. Everyone in the office is kind, helpful and friendly. I recommend them. I was referred to Doctor T from a friend and after visiting a couple of different orthodontist offices, I chose to receive my treatment from Pacifica Orthodontics because they really made me feel welcomed and comfortable about getting braces. Their office is located in a small plaza with PLENTY of parking that I've actually never had to park anywhere besides directly out in front. The entire staff at Pacifica Orthodontics is just AMAZING. From the minute you walk in, the ladies, Sue V and Carol, guide you through everything you need to know and then pass you along to the back, where the assistants guide you through everything more in detail. Then Doctor Trihn will take a look at you and confirm all the details and answer all you questions! After speaking with the staff and Doctor T, I felt so confident with my decision that I scheduled an appointment right away and paid for it in FULL because I was so excited to begin with my transformation! I wanted to write a good review after my first visit, but wanted to wait until I got my braces so I could write a full, honest review about the actual braces itself and I couldn't be happier with my teeth right now! I got the clear braces on the top and metal on the bottom and you can barely sell them because Alexa, one of the assistants, let me see my brackets with different colors and I got to choose the one that made my braces less noticeable(white). I really appreciated that she offered to put different colors on and let me choose which looked best on me. Doctor T and Alexa work so well together that getting my braces was a breeze. It took about 30 minutes of them working hand in hand and the consistent flow from assistant to Doctor, made me feel very comfortable and relaxed during the gluing process. This was probably bothersome for the Doctor but I kept checking my reflection in my phone while they were working because I was curious to see the process and all I have to say is that Doctor T is very precise with his work! After Doctor T finished with my braces, Alexa showed me a short video that showed what to eat, what to avoid, how to brush, floss etc and even demonstrated it while following along with the video so that I could see it in real life. Then, Doctor T spoke to me in his office about duration, expectations, concerns, and answered all my final questions and made sure that I felt comfortable before leaving his office. Lastly, before exiting, the ladies will make an appointment to fit your schedule and they are soon accommodating! They're super busy with phones always ringing and clients asking questions but they always make the time to chat with me and give me tips about my braces. The " front of the house " is the people who make the first and final impression and I ALWAYS come in and out with a smile on my face or giggling. I even joke that I love spending time at their office and want to stay all day to just hang out because that's how welcoming they are! Doctor T gives out his PERSONAL cell phone number in case anyone has an emergency concern or question and I think that shows how much he cares about his patients. He even called me later on during the day and left a voicemail to reassure me some things and to check up on me. Most offices won't even call to check up, and if they do, it's usually an assistant or the receptionist, but Doctor T makes these phone calls himself after a busy day because he is THAT dedicated! So overall, the staff is so helpful and friendly that they make every appointment seem like a fun lunch date because every time I go to my appointments, I'm always catching up with the ladies in the front and exchanging conversation. The assistants all know what they're doing and you could tell that they work well with Doctor T to make your visit as comfortable and time-efficient as possible( even though it doesn't matter to me since I always linger and hang out anyway ). Doctor T was truly made for this job and you could tell this is his passion through his work. I never thought getting braces at 25 would be this fabulous. No pain, no embarrassment, and no stress is involved when visiting this office. I held off getting braces for so long because I was a little embarrassed but now I find myself calling myself " cute " now because the staff as a whole, gave me the confidence to feel beautiful. The office located in a great area where parking is always available and free and although I never had to wait for my appointment, they have a nice waiting area with a TV that's playing something fun like Doctor Oz or whatever. The office is super clean with all the newest tools and technology that I thought getting my braces here would be too expensive! But after my consultation, I learned that it is very affordable, hence paying in full was not too difficult for me. Our family loves Pacifica Orthodontics. The staff is really sweet and Dr. Trihn is very knowledgable and personable, and always makes my boys at ease. My older son who is now 12 started his treatment a couple of years back and his plan has been very effective to correct some issues with his jaw/bite. I was referred to Pacifica Orthodontics for adult braces. My gums were infected and Invisalign was considered not only a cosmetic option but also helpful to prevent future gum disease. As someone who is incredibly picky (bordering on high maintenance) I tend to interview my Dr.'s before I agree to a treatment plan just to make sure he and I are on the same page. I think you can never be to careful especially when it comes to your smile! Almost a year and half ago, I sat down with Dr. Trinh for my first consultation. His ability to (really) listen to his patients and go through point A,B,C,D... with me one by one was impressive. I am not an idiot but I have ALOT of questions about how my teeth will look when this is all said and done. Also Invisaglin isn't exactly budget friendly, so I really appreciate his willingness to make sure I was completely confident with how my financial investment would payoff. The entire process since then has been seamless and efficient. Invisalign requires monthly office visits and as a mother of young children this can be taxing on my schedule. But his office staff and assistants go out of their way to accommodate my scheduling needs and make sure I am in and out of the office on time. I have NEVER waited for any appointment. (This is a big deal considering some times I have the children with me.) Dr. Trinh offers his cell phone for off hour questions or concerns. I think this really speaks to who he is as a Dr. and the level of genuine care he has for his patients. Lord knows if I was a Dr. I would not be giving my personal number to anyone. We are coming to the end of my treatment and I am thrilled with the progress. My treatment isn't completely done so I will write a followup review with before and after pictures. read more
