Since the most recent time I came was during this Covid pandemic, it was reassuring to see the staff disinfecting common areas and taking my temperature to make sure I didn't have a fever. Staff was super understanding and patient and walk me through the proedure. They give you earplugs and also play some music through earbuds so you can relax and not hear the loud noises during the scan. They will keep in touch at all moments through a microphone and window. It will last approximately 40minutes but it will depend in the body part to treat. Now, if you need a shoulder MRi, you will also need a Doctor to inject a contrast fluid in your joint. It won't hurt because they use a numbness liquid first ;) So be sure you are going to be in good hands :) Be sure to bring shorts and tank top. No metal. I arrived for my 11am appointment at 11:05 due to World Cup traffic…read more I stood at the front desk while the receptionist typed away for three minutes with no greeting or any eye contact. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome in the space. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to the desk downstairs, which I promptly obliged. Upon arriving at the desk downstairs, I was not greeted or even looked at. I announced my name and that I was there for my 11 o'clock appointment and apologized for being five minutes late. She then proceeded to tell me that I was going to need to reschedule and that my check-in time was actually 10:45. I explained to her that whoever I spoke to on the phone told me to be there at 11am not 10:45, and if I would've known I needed to be there early I would've shown up early. She explained to me how they supposedly have on file a reminder call in which I never received, no voicemail left, as well as never receiving any type of email confirmation explaining that I needed to be there early. After typing away on her computer for another five minutes, I asked her what she is doing, and she expresses that she's trying to find a new time for our appointment. At this point, I am frustrated, and now 15 minutes past my appointment time. I let her know that I am uninterested in using their services and exit the building with extreme relief that I never have to be in this environment ever again. After the experience in this extremely unwelcoming environment, with extreme lack of flexibility (even 5 mins), and complete disregard for any type of logistical organization, I will never be returning. And drove away with a huge smile on my face that they will not be receiving one dime from me or my insurance company. I am also very excited to let my primary care physician know so that he never has to send a patient here ever again as a referral. His patients deserve so much more than what you all have to offer, which is apparently very little. This business is an embarrassment to the Bellevue medical community, and what an absolute shame for patients that they have to deal with such a lackluster business. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!! UPDATE: My sister has received a service here. They left her on the exam room table, half naked, for over an hour before she received her scan. She was in her teens at the time and too scared to get up and disregard her primary care physician's orders. We will be alerting all women we know within the greater Seattle area to never come to this sub-par establishment.

I have had 10 others removed by other doctors. Nicole, "Hawk Eye" Marshall the PA is phenominal. She found 5 abnormalites on me. I am so grateful for her care and concern and she is pretty darn good at stitches too. She is gentle and has a great disposition. The Bellevue front desk is kind and very helpful. I wish I knew their names -- two women and one man. They all communicate very well. The staff of medical assistants are all highly capable and quite kind and very professional with their jobs. I loved all of them and they made the surgery as painless as possible. Dr. Gorman is STELLAR! She is a phenominal doctor and human. I feel honored to have her talented self take care of me. Saying that this year I had Dr. Totonchy do my surgery, because time was of an essence. I have to say, I didn't expect to receive care at Dr. Gorman's level; but I was in fact blown away. She is exceptional. I was so happy with the results. Her kindness and compassion are so comforting. She is also phenominal at what she does. I was impressed that she didn't over-draw the margins on the Moh's and remained conservative taking as little tissue as possible. She was thoughtful about the incision and the stitches, which I am grateful for because it's on my face. I was stunned to find out that she got her undergrade at Duke, Med School at UCLA and then did her residency at Yale! WHAT! Hang those degrees up in the office people! Hang them with pride, that's a ton of hard work. She was amazing. Numerous Med Tech's in the office told me the original founding doctor was very, VERY, particular in who he hired and waited for the right doctor to find him -- and I can say these two Docs win Seattle's GOLD MEDAL for Skin Surgeons! I am so impressed! More than 5 stars is what they deserve! Thank you Dr. T and Dr. Gorman and to the entire staff for taking exceptional care of me. PS Only bummer is someone stole my charger from the wall in the waiting room. Pretty sure it was a fellow patient. I mean who DOESN'T want a great charger for their iphone! : (

My experience with OPA Orthopedics was completely unacceptable…read more I was referred to OPA after a serious motorcycle accident on July 18 with multiple fractures that required orthopedic follow-up. They received my medical records and imaging, then lost my file. After more follow-up, I was told my records had also not been properly sent over for review, causing even more delay. Then, after weeks of waiting while I was recovering from broken bones, they finally determined that they do not even accept my insurance. So OPA lost my file, failed to process my records correctly, delayed the medical review, communicated poorly throughout the process, and then only after all of that figured out that they could not see me because of my insurance. That is an unacceptable level of incompetence for a medical office dealing with injured patients. This was not just an inconvenience. I needed timely orthopedic care after a major accident, and their administrative failures wasted weeks of my recovery. I would not recommend OPA Orthopedics based on my experience.

I have had reverse shoulder replacement surgery on each shoulder this past year, five months apart…read more What most patients say about Dr. Jurek's rapport, support, and positivity are definitely true, but of course my main concern as a patient was with the outcomes. I'm pleased to say that the outcomes so far have been far better than I had expected, with very little pain after surgery and smooth and quick recoveries. I was swinging a golf club after 6 weeks, and was playing golf just 8 weeks after my first surgery. I had a similar and even better result, with even less pain and quicker recovery time, after my second surgery. I would certainly recommend Dr. Jurek to anyone for shoulder replacement surgery, and after having worked with her through my two surgeries, I am confident that I would recommend her for any orthopedic procedure within her expertise. She is really terrific. (I should also add that she was initially recommended to me by another very highly-rated orthopedic surgeon, so she is clearly highly-regarded by her colleagues and fellow specialists as well.)

I scheduled an appointment nearly 10 months out. Unfortunately, due to a travel conflict, I needed to reschedule. When I called, I was told the next available appointment was another 9 months away. That kind of delay makes it very difficult to maintain continuity of care, especially as a returning patient. I understand demand is high, but the lack of flexibility or reasonable rescheduling options was disappointing.

My most recent experiences, however, show a complete lack of professionalism. My CT scans from a month ago have not been reviewed, and multiple calls to my surgeon have been ignored. Dr. Basamania has enjoyed a stellar reputation but I think his recent performance is subpar. Saw another reviewer mention a failed surgery with Keem and that "complications occur," as if this…read moreisn't what so often happens with Keem (I've met people who've known physical therapists who work with numerous butchered Keem patients at a time) - so I'm back to update my review. This is a placeholder until I type out another banger lambasting Keem for being a terrible surgeon. Keem told me my artificial disc migrated - in actuality, a team of Virginia Mason neurosurgeons investigated, and found the disc was installed in the wrong place (which took a while to diagnose, as Keem refused to release intra-operative imaging for close to a year). Entire steps of my surgery were skipped. And he lied to my face about it - and to the Polyclinic ... just before mysteriously leaving his cushy position as their sole spinal surgeon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Keem is a lazy, incompetent butcher. I still experience daily pain and take daily pain medications after what he did to me as a young athlete. He mysteriously vanished from the Polyclinic after multiple government investigations of my surgery, including a winning ruling by the Washington state AG's office because Keem was double-paid by both me and my insurance, and his office said I'd have to sue him directly to be reimbursed. He's corrupt, and a liar. After some time floating around, it appears he's been hired by Swedish. They should be ashamed of themselves - I reached out directly to share the results of my surgery. Clearly, Swedish doesn't care about the longevity of their patients, or keeping them safe, functional, and pain-free. Keep in mind that this man has a long and extensive history of "complicated" surgeries, as well as kickbacks into the millions from the manufacturer of the only artificial disc he installs. (They also cover fusion equipment, etc.) I could find no other surgeon who only uses equipment from one company ... let alone ones paid by them on the side. More corruption to the absolute core. More coming. I have other reviews for him in my profile, including one in which I caught him leaving himself a fake positive review. Don't be fooled by this slimy, unctuous guy who has a long history of leaving his patients immediately post-op to go get paid by Medtronic while they suffer through permanent and life-changing complications. Expect a PA to see you for your first post-op appointment (dangerous and insidious scope creep, going against all advice of the American Medical Association), and expect them to misread your imaging and gaslight you about your pain because they have no idea what they're talking about. This is an established pattern of Keem's. If Keem has 5,000 haters, I'm one of them. If Keem has 1 hater, it's me. If Keem has 0 haters, it's because his rotten surgery finally killed me Lmaoooo. If Shakespeare knew this guy, he'd call him an egg.
