The front desk administrators, Tim and Annie were wonderful in helping me reschedule and explaining procedure to a claustrophobic who hates MRIs. They assured me and gave me different options. There is absolutely no reason for the hold times when trying to make an appt for a basic mammogram. I just went over the hour mark for the 2nd time in 2 days. 30 years in the freight business here as an ltl driver in king, pierce and snoho counties. 5 acl reconstructions, new shoulder, new hip , many crushed and herniated discs. 3 impingements in cervical spine. Ive had at least 20 mris over the decades. Sadly... I never went here. They have a radiologist named "George". Hes absolutely fantastic. Very polite, Very patient and a very good listener This is the all around best experience ive ever had getting an mri. after having many a few years ago i started getting claustrophobic in them when they have to lock up your neck. Other places put you in a torpedo tube horizontally with your neck locked down into a fixed position. terrible experience. last time it happened i came close to putting my hands on the tech in a bad way. lucky i didnt go to prison. really. I was really not excited about another mri on my spine. George, at Rayus changed that. Im telling all my old busted up freight friends to go here. I really regret not coming here for all my other ones. I avoided it because an old dr. told me that vertical images werent as good as the horizontal ones. Renton location. Everything went fine, but I wanted to comment on someone else's remark about someone on the staff thinking they were on Medicaid, this happened to me too. I was checking if my insurance that was about to buy or just bought (Ambetter Coordinated Care) "because I got laid off from my job" was covered there. Was it because I mentioned I lost my job? The actual CT scan performed was great. The billing of services is crap. They send email bill without providing your acct # or amount due...just a link to login. Logon required acct #. I pay the bills so I called them to get acct #. They wouldn't give me info because I am the spouse even though I'm trying to pay the bill! They are not getting paid unless they send me a hardcopy bill. So much for going paperless. read more

As a first time client to Rayus Radiology, I am absolutely impressed with the service and support. Please note, I am not affiliated with Rayus, nor have I been asked (or paid) to make these comments. I am a Medicare recipient who needed a service Rayus provides, but one not covered by Medicare. Their staff navigated the difficult process of acquiring a referral from my HMO, actually making phone calls for me to get the documentation I needed. It was tricky because a Denial of Coverage cannot be used as a referral. Rayus knew just what to do to get a proper physician referral. You gotta love that type of advocacy, right? Every staff member was professional, cheerful, chatty, and a pleasure to work with. A big shoutout to Jessica in particular! I highly recommend Rayus Radiology for imaging services. The technicians, BTW, are awesome and the quality of care is superior to my HMO. They even provided me with a CD of the imaging! P.S. I read several of the negative reviews for this organization. I just cannot believe that this many people had poor experiences. I saw no evidence that would dissuade me from recommending Rayus to everyone needing this type of service. read more

Total incompetence. Rescheduled FOUR times, each time to a different location because the prior location was mistakenly picked only to find out later it did not have the needed equipment for the procedure. And each time I was assured the 'new' location did. Meanwhile, decisions about my healthcare needs get further and further delayed. Last year I showed up for a scheduled procedure only to be told I needed to come back 6 hours later due to a backlog, or reschedule for another day. I have claustrophobia and my HMO does not have an Open MRI, so I was referred to Rayus. My experience was very pleasant with every part of the procedure. Starting with being helped at the front desk for check in (I do recommend pre-check online) to my MRI Technologist, George, who made me feel like I was all that mattered that day, he was kind, patient, and informative. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN! If I could give them a zero, I would. My oncologist ordered an MRI with contrast on 8/23. Rayus couldn't get me scheduled until 9/25. The day before my MRI, they called to tell me that they didn't have the correct machine at the location where THEY scheduled me. They rescheduled my appointment to 10/10. Today, one week before my appointment, they called to say they wouldn't have the correct contrast at the other location where THEY scheduled me. They rescheduled my appointment to 10/29. On this last phone call, I was driving with the phone on speaker and couldn't write down the appointment information. I asked for either an email or text confirmation so I could get the appointment time correct. The representative told me she did not have the power to send emails or texts. I don't know what kind of third-rate company can't manage to schedule appointments correctly or send emails and texts in 2024. Not to mention how shameful it is for a medical company to treat a patient who is worried about what danger might be growing inside them with this kind of carelessness and disregard. read more

The people who work inside the office are great! On-time and very efficient. It's when you have to call them. For example, I have called medical records at least 6 times and it always has the same result. Please leave a message. If they do happen to call back and you are busy, good luck. They do not leave a message. Then it is back to square one. Thanks a lot for the time wasted. Regarding call taker....she asked for my insurance. I got my card to give her my insurance information. She told me I must have Medicaid. I informed her it was Health Partners and asked if they don't accept that. She said they do. She was not happy for the first half of call but brightened up for second half. This review is for both Bellevue locations. And this is one of those reviews where I wish I could give zero or negative stars. I have had mammograms and MRIs at the Bellevue offices. I will say that the actual exams are fine. The tech staff are fine. Some small talk, they do their job, and we all move on. But this review is about just trying to get in the door through the scheduling buffoons and the aftermath of what you think is now a scheduled appointment. Ridiculous scenario #1: A year ago I had an appointment scheduled. Thirty minutes before my scheduled appointment, I got a phone call from the clinic asking me if I had a "back door" number to my doctor's office because the doctors authorization had not come in yet. 30 minutes before! Now mind you, I had scheduled this appointment FOUR WEEKS EARLIER! They had FOUR weeks to call my doctor! Yet they called me 30 minutes before to ask ME if I could try to get the authorization. So since I did not have the magical back door number, I suggested that I just come in any way because I was sure the approval would be received that day or soon thereafter. Nope. "It doesn't work that way." Hung up. Fast forward a year to ridiculous scenario #2. Two months ago I called to schedule an MRI. They needed the doctors authorization (here we go again) and I was told they would take care of calling the doctor. And no appointment could be scheduled until the authorization was received but was told they would call me back as soon as they got it. Four weeks later......I called to see if the authorization had been received. Yep.....three weeks earlier. No one called me like I had been promised. Okay.....keeping my cool, I now try to schedule the appointment. Feeling like I was stuck in an Abbott and Costello skit, I finally got an appointment scheduled for April 3rd. Phew! Showed up on April 3rd at my scheduled time only to be told that THEIR system showed me as having an appointment on April 7th. I can assure you with every fiber in my being that my appointment was for the 3rd. I don't care what their system said. No text. No emails. No calls. Absolutely nothing confirming any appointment for the 7th. I'm DONE with this place. These interactions cause me an unbelievable amount of stress. And I'm at high risk of breast cancer and what they don't understand and certainly don't give a crap about is how they're actually messing with people's lives with this incompetencey. So many of us deal with so much stress in our lives already, and simply making a appointment for a potential life saving medical appointment should not be so difficult. I hate this clinic and will travel hours to another imaging place before ever making an attempt to deal with this inept group of people again. read more

My cardiologist told me it was necessary to get a calcium score to evaluate risk. I thought it would be covered by Medicare, but it was not. I was here and thought they are probably all the same price no matter where you go. Was I ever wrong! Rayus charged me more than DOUBLE of what Overlake Hospital charges and even more than that for Providence. I have spent so much on medical lately that the $199 they charged does hurt. I usually don't write reviews but this location definitely deserves a review. This is my second time trying to make an appointment and have been told that there has been a scheduling error. Both cancellations were made by the reps from Rayus radiology. The first was in December and was scheduled a month in advanced and then was informed a week before my appt that there was no radiologist scheduled on that particular day. After rescheduling another month out, now I was just told today that I would not be able to keep my appointment and they would need to be rescheduled again due to being scheduled for a 60 minute instead of a 90 minute appointment due to the procedure. This is outrageous and unprofessional! I would never recommend this location. Go anywhere else but this location. Either the staff needs to be re-trained or they need to hire new personnel. I went to Rayus in Renton for a scrotal ultra sound. Wait time was minimal and the technician was very personable. She followed my instructions, asked the proper questions, and made me feel very comfortable. During the exam I asked her to stop for a few minutes to allow me to relax and she had no problem talking about non-medical things to help me relax. Her professionalism and conduct was exemplary and she helped keep me calm and even when I had a personal dilemma she kept her cool and talked me right through what was an embarrassing and stressful situation like the true pro she is. I love the diagnostic staff and have had 3 exrays and 3 MRIs there. However, I asked to get copies of my MRIs on disk for an important doctor appointment I had been waiting a month for. I called a week ahead and they told me they would be ready in 20 minutes. I told them I'd come in on my way to the appointment. I called the morning of the appointment to ensure they were ready. They were not. The person I spoke to at Fedral Way location called the Renton location and said they would get them ready for me to pick up in an hour. I show up on my way to my appointment and the lady at the front desk says, well the person who called gave me the wrong name, we have nothing for you. Really? She then said they would get them started right away. I tried to explain I was going to miss my appointment in Seattle because they were promised to be ready for pick up. She said well "I'm sorry but there isn't anything I can do" speaking to me in a placating way that was seriously rude. I heard about a rude lady there, but always had a cool guy there, I guess this is the rude lady you read about in other reviews. She is also lazy and blames her inability to process orders on other employees. I ended up having to wait 20 minutes and had to miss my appointment in Seattle. Again. This was the second time this happened as the same thing happened while trying to pick up an MRI disc 6 months ago and it cost me an important appointment. Of course I thought the first time was a fluke. Now it seems like a pattern of ineptness and lack of care within the system. When I got home I called the person I spoke with this morning in Federal Way and let her know the Renton location blamed it on her giving them the wrong name. Which she did not, and was quite irritated that she blamed her mistake on her. CDI has made several thousand dollars, if not over 10 thousand dollars off of my diagnostic imaging there. I would think the front desk staff would be more attentive to patient services after they collect their money. Their pattern of miscommunication and lack of follow through for simple and quick tasks adversely affect the lives of their patients when we have to miss important appointments we have had to wait to get, and that could have possibly induced healing and brought pain relief. All because because they don't seem to either care or have their s#it together on a regular basis. I won't be returning for any more imaging. read more

I was happy to see that CDI had an MRI that I might be able to use for imaging on my back since I am unable to use a closed or open MRIs. My doctor sent CDI an order for imaging and I understood that their scheduling people would call me for an appointment. They claimed that the left a VM, which I never received. I did finally get a scheduling call a week later which I had to refuse due to what I learned waiting for the call. I tried to get a callback from a supervisor several times during this period with no response. I then read the YELP reviews which scared me given my fear of an MRI. The reviews indicated major problems with scheduling which concerned me even more. The logistics of getting to the Renton CDI location are bad enough if you don't have a car. CDI has lost me as a customer given the reviews and my experience. read more

The scheduling department confirmed an appointment which upon arrival the office did not have on their schedule, I was asked to return a week later 1 1/2 hours earlier than the scheduled appointment. Did not want to do another MRI on my back as I am horribly claustrophobic. Dr. recommended this place with an Open Front MRI. The receptionist and the technician who helped me were both excellent, friendly, professional and helpful. The MRI was great for my claustrophobia. You get to watch a movie while having it. When I called to make an appointment the gentleman didn't seem to have any idea what he was doing he told me the first available appointment was at Kirkland and I told him it had to be an open one like the one in renton and he assured me that it was well it wasn't so now they scheduled me for one in renton for the 13th which is tomorrow morning at 7 o'clock. They ask you to come in 30 minutes prior to your appt time to fill out paperwork that takes 10 minutes, if that. I asked them to email me the paperwork so I wouldn't need to show up so early. They did. I had a 5pm appt and they wanted me there at 4:30. Day of appt, they call me asking me to come in 15 minutes early at 4:15. I thought that meant my appt was bumped up which was good news for me. Nope. I showed up early only to find out my appt was still at 5pm and they asked me to come in early to fill out my paperwork because they had double booked me. I don't know why I would need 45 minutes to fill out basic paperwork, especially when they had already emailed me the paperwork per my request. Then at 4:45 the front desk tells me the tech is running 30 minutes late. So now I am waiting one hour and 15 minutes. Poorly organized. Do not recommend. read more

I had a MRI on my lower spine today and it was excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and got me right in. George, my technician was great. I had an open MRI due to my inability to stay inside the tube. George helped me into the chair (I have mobility problems), stacked several boxes for me to rest my feet on so they were dangling. He let me know at the beginning that it would be 25-30 minutes. The first set of imaging took 6 minutes which he let me know up front. He kept me informed on how much longer it would be. I was referred here by my primary care doctor for a lung X-ray following treatment for pneumonia and was extremely pleased. I was able to get in very quickly. The ladies at the front desk were extremely knowledgeable in helping sort through and understand insurance coverage. (I'm another victim of ObamaCare). Turns out this wasn't covered (go figure!) Anyway, my only option was self pay. Dreading a HUGE bill, I was shocked to find the cost was only $65! Plus, results went to my doctor the same day. Each case is different obviously but definitely worth a call! I went to the Renton location which was easy to find with plenty of parking. Very nice facility; extremely clean with courteous, knowledgeable, professional staff that were also very warm and welcoming. My appt was at 11.25. I was seen by 11.30 and out the door by 11.50. It could not have been a better experience! read more
