Im pretty positive most of these reviews are fake... Everywhere else says they are awful except for here. They are the rudest most passive aggressive people around no matter how often you are on time with your payments... They justify being passive aggressive if you dont let them continuously speak and from what i can see on other negative reviews they try to humiliate those who say anything against them. Seems like they are trying to steal money. Have been trying to make a payment for days... They refuse unless i give them my info over the phone... THE BEST!! Having used Dean personally I feel strongly about the qualities of the man and the integrity he displays in dealing with you. When you are looking for help with credit, when there are issues and you need answers in an area that most of us really know very little about, this is the place you want to be. MY STORY I consulted with Dean on questions I had about a mortgage, a Refi, that I had taken out on my home with another lender. I received the rate I wanted from the lender, but not without the lender calling me at the last moment claiming there was some sort of hit on my credit and then trying to jack the price up by almost $1000. Being a homeowner and not a financial wizard, I did not know any of the nuances involved in financing or getting credit ratings or any of that stuff - most of us don't. I needed to understand what had transpired and if it was feasible to do that, what it meant to my record, and whether my lender was acting aboveboard. Dean was able to listen to what I had to say and explain back to me what the facts were regarding the credit report. The lender was trying to hit me with an increased rate on a disputed item that was over 12, probably 15 years old, I mean way back. Come to find out, thanks to Dean's knowledge, that in California credit items that are more than four years old are dead and undistributable, so the fact that the lender told me it was being taken for action and would affect my loan was a total lie!! I have a lot more work and investigation to do on this, but using Dean proved to be an excellent choice!! The worst SCAMMERS! Do not give these people your info! They are not up to date with current laws! I have a judgement that I told this company about and they said no you have no judgement. Went to go buy a house and guess what came up? Yep, my judgement! Stopped me from buying a house!!!! Be aware! They do not keep up on current laws! The judgements are now on a 4th site called nexuslexus.com DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Sad thing is this all could have been avoided if they did there job. I had to get rid of them and the people that referred them as well. HORRIBLE! August 21,2014 Six years ago I was diagnosed with throat cancer. The treatment and recovery took more than a year and six months to complete. Which also meant that I was unemployed for quite a length of time. What had taken a lifetime to obtain, slowly slipped through my fingers. A second home was foreclosed upon, my primary residence went by short sale and suddenly my family and I are renters. In addition to numerous credit cards, I had recently purchased a new vehicle that I could no longer afford. "My story" as the saying goes, "bad things happen to good people". My credit scores that I had worked so hard for to protect had eroded overnight. That was six years ago and I feel thankful and blessed to have survived. However, living with low credit scores has proved very costly. After my car was wrecked, I had to buy a vehicle and I could only qualify for a 15% loan as a bad credit risk. Pacific West Credit has worked miracles in the last 4 months. Although I had a zero balance, credit reports were still reporting negatively on a $789,000 mortgage and a $220,000 mortgage. Two separate tax liens, one for $6,000 and one for $23,000 also were reporting as negative although each had been paid several years ago. Pacific West Credit sent inquiries along with proper documentation and in about 4 months, over 1 million dollars has been lifted from any negative reporting. This has boosted my credit scores. In addition, Dean has coached me how to establish credit. A year ago Sears would not issue me a credit card. Recently I have qualified for a Sears card with a $1,000 limit. Kathryn and Dean were fantastic to work with. I approached them about a year ago and was referred by a good friend. I had some credit issues that had been lingering on for going on 3 years which I needed help with. Dean set me up in their program and explained all their services. Once I was in the program I could check out my progress and see what items had been removed from my bad credit history. Also Dean or Kathryn would call me up every week to update me personally on the progress. Within about a 5 to 7 month time frame my credit went from the low 600's to about a 715 FICO score.
