The receptionist in the attached picture is the most rudest individual I ever met. She is very short and unfriendliest person ever. Not only was she rude to me she was also rude to my partner when we called in into sign a paper. Basically just told him to have a seat and forgot about him. He finally called me on my cell phone (I was in one of the offices in the back waiting for him to get here) and told me he was leaving so I walked out in the lobby to get him and the receptionist gave us both a dirty look and Syed at us and said I don't understand why u are getting all excited. I will never use pacific trust again I wish I didn't have to go through them this time but they have me over barrel. When others were walking in the receptionist didn't even greet them all she says is "name" expecting you to know what she means. I sat in the lobby listening to her answer the phone and she is so rude and not friendly and very unhelpful. She even hung up on someone and referred to them as being rude To a coworker when in fact she was the rude one. This experience made my refinance experience horrible when it should have been a happy experience. Unfortunately I have to go back to this place tomorrow and I am hoping she is not there! read more

I had to leave this review in case someone was looking for an AMAZING escrow team because they are top notch. They are on top of their paperwork, promptly answer emails, pick up the phone when I call (even after hours ;-)). They are seriously passionate about their job and you can see it in their work ethic. I would use them again and again no doubt. I read these other reviews about Pacific Trust (the negative ones) and I can't imagine any of it as ringing true. I've worked with them a couple years now and between Michael and Sharmen and Teresa and Cyndee, Pacific Trust can do no wrong. I was doing a Re-fi with cash out and the company sent me about 5 escrow companys to choose from, Pacific was the first one on the list so I thought maybe that's a sign my loan company wanted to use them. God I wish I had checked Yelp before I choose. These people didn't care about me. I had a agent named Tarina, she is rude. She witheld closing funds then said they would be released in 6 weeks! She lied, I started this in January I just got my money last week! When I would call her, she acted as if I was bothering her with short smart ass answers. Now how many people or how often does someone refi? Yep, I didn't know what I was doing and IF there is ever a need I WILL NEVER USE PACIFIC AGAIN! This company failed in every way to provide me with customer service with excellent. They delayed getting a crucial document for my closing because they were having an office party. After I had driven for over 5 and half hours in heavy Los Angeles and Orange County traffic, to get the document and delivered it to them, for the to tell me that there a great possibility that I would get my special closing til Monday. I was not having that. They assured me that my file was completed that they had everything, they needed, they were waiting on Title to fund their account. Again I would be able to pick up my check by 12 no later than 2 pm. After 10 calls to Escrow office because it getting late in the day no word, no call, no update. At 4:03 Kat just informed my loan officer she was missing account numbers. Mind you this is the same person who told me that she had everything she needed and assured me, they were only waiting on Title. She had not touched my file until my loan office contacted her, then to add insult to injury the person who writes the checks went home a 2 pm. Her she is at the last minute scramble to do something she had full 4 and half days to do. Thier failure to properly handle my file cost me more time and money. I would not recommend this company, to no one, in fact, stay away. All their nicety is just a shadow to cover up laziness. if one of my staff members did a customer like this they would not have a job. We need force company to the job we pay them for in a timely manner. I tried of hearing "I apologize," If the job is done right the first time there would be no need for apologies Due diligence is all we ask, handle my file like you would want me to handle yours. read more

Pacific Trust Escrow is the worst escrow company I've ever dealt with. I have closed 6 escrows with them in the past 2 years and each escrow was delayed 5 to 17 days after the original closing date and it was due to the escrow officers and their assistants negligence and lack of care. They dont work in the best interests of their clients, they work on their time and when they feel like it. When you call for status updates they dont answer and if they do they are rude and their excuse for them not closing on time is that they are very busy....I wish I could give them zero stars if it were possible. read more

I've dealt with this office a couple of times and I'm very happy with the ladies at this particular office. I once had to drop off some documents for a house that I was selling and they greeted me with a smile and were so pleasant to deal with. Going trough escrow can get very stressful but these wonderful ladies made things less of a headache for my family and I. I really recommend this office to every one. A Horrible nightmare! This company called my wife & I to sign to begin escrow at 4 and when we showed up at 4:15 we were told our escrow officer had left for the day & we'd have to wait until the next day. The following day we had to sign via docusign. Why couldn't we just docusign when we were called initially? More than 2 months later, we were called on a Friday at 4:53 that escrow is done & we can come in on Monday, when I asked if we could go right then, they said NO, they close at 5! Keep in mind we had been waiting more than 2 months for escrow to close, which we had been told typically closes in 30-45 days & were extremely eager to finish the process! We weren't available to sign until Tuesday & when I went to the county recorders office Friday to register as the homeowner, they said the escrow office missed a signature! I had to wait another couple hours to get keys & was told that because of the delay we may have to wait until Monday to get keys! I was furious! Luckily my realtor pulled in a favor with the seller & we got keys so we were able to move in over the weekend. Glad our experience is over with this company. Buyers beware!
