We were especially impressed with the nice bathroom with large shower and separate tub. Check-in was easy; like an Airbnb a simple code for room entry was provided and payment was made online. The property feels secluded and private and is very well maintained. There were only 4 or 5 rooms, I think, at this property. Each room has its own designated parking space. Like an Airbnb, bring your own amenities; other than soap and towels, nothing else was provided in the bathroom. There is a pool and hot tub but I never even saw either as they were on the back side of the complex and we pretty much just wanted to chill in the room. We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.

Even after I saw the reservation from the Villa Group where it said rooms were based on availability, I reached out to him again and said it looks like an ocean view is not guaranteed. Again he confirmed that it would be an ocean view. Well you can see where this is going...we arrived and did not get an ocean view. I tried repeatedly to contact him and I heard nothing back. Absolutely nothing. Our room was on the first floor and it was so musty and damp that our clothes never dried. Bruce pushes del Palmar and there are some really nice benefits to it - namely there are lots of activities but it is the oldest of the three resorts and it shows. After we booked the trip with him he was going to send us some magazines about things to do in Cabo. He never did. His transfer service from the airport was going to cost $50 more than the one I booked. Here's the deal - if you are a gambler and want to take a chance, go with these folks. If you don't care about where you stay, then go with them. I will NEVER use Bruce again. Once he has your money? You won't hear from him again if there are any problems.

It has a decent size living room with a small balcony facing the swimming pool. We didn't ask to use the swimming pool because we were there for the wine tasting. The condo is off the main wine route...I want to say maybe about 2 miles from all of the wineries. We had the Grapeline Wine Tours pick us up from the parking area (About $130 per person). They dropped us off after the tour at the same location. We split the cost of the condo with our other friends, it came up to about $300 per couple but each couple got their own room and restroom and this was checking in on Friday and checking out on Sunday morning. The place is really cute with a wine theme going on and they even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Frank, the host, was very friendly with great communication. Each room has a universal charger for our phones and tablets. I messaged to inquire and was basically scolded by Nikki and asked why I 'did not advise them earlier that they did not send the form?' I was told by Nikki that "half our accounting dept. is out sick, and I will personally process the refund today." 1/24/2026 Nikki messages me now stating that "Our merchant services account does not allow us to process a refund with charges that are ran over 180 days prior to request so now we need to mail you a check." Keep in mind that the date of purchase was 8/28/2025 and the date I requested a refund was 12/11/2025. Simple math shows this is a lie, as 180 days after purchase date would have been 2/24/2026! 1/24/2026 Messaged a second time by Monica stating that she is "forwarding this request for a check refund to be issued by the CEO and mailed to you today." 1/30/2026 No check received. They had pointed out cool spots in the neighborhood to go and visit that were spot on if it was your 1st to your 50th time being in San Diego. We just tried to do the same sort of trip in the Hill country of Texas and it was an absolute nightmare comparatively. Not only on value cause this place is an excellent value. But also because these house rock and some house can just be absolutely horrendous. It is too bad Vrbo is not easier work with if you are Host, it could be a great partnership if Vrbo could ever get their act together , but maybe they just don't care since they have so... many listing already.
