This shopping complex used to be the major one long time ago but now since huge shopping complex of…read moreWestfield twin buildings opened, this area is losing customers I guess. However, Westfield is mainly for young people and this complex is mainly for senior people who wouldn't like too much crowd and it's well balanced. I wouldn't do window shopping here but do practical shopping and I do lots of window shopping and just browsing around in Westfield.

I happen to live above this complex, so whether I like it or not, I'm shopping at Eastgate for one…read morething or another every single day of my life. My initial words of advice would be to get here extra early or super late, or face the distress of all walks of life moving in all directions. When it's busy, which is 90 per cent of the time, it's seriously like a human obstacle course. Old, young, big, small, prams, wheelchairs, trolleys... you name it. If you must be in here during the day at any point, make it a quick operation, or face completely losing the plot. If you're in the thick of it and can't navigate your way out, head up the escalator to the second level and find solace in Priceline. Selecting a pretty shade of lipstick can be soothing and might calm you down enough to face the masses and make it out alive. If the lipstick approach doesn't work, try on some garments at Sussan... meander the el cheapo aisles at the Reject Shop - I hear their Thai toothpaste is the bomb... or chillax at the little café with a mean bacon, eggs and a good coffee. If you STILL can't bring yourself to face the masses en route to exiting. Leave via the carpark.

Located as the base of the Sydney Tower, Westfield Sydney is a high end shopping center in the…read moreheart of Sydney downtown. Its major retailers are stores like Myer and Zara, with luxury brands like Gucci, Fendi, and Chanel. It is owned by the Centre Group, which was previously part of the Westfield Group, a multi-national based in Australia. The Westfield Group was split in 2014 into a Australia/New Zealand portion (Centre group which owns this mall) and the Westfield Corporation, which owns many shopping centers in Europe and the US, including many that I've been to (Westfield Old Orchard, Westfield Century City, Westfield Topanga, and Westfield Culver City). We spent a bit of time here while waiting for our reservation at the Sydney Tower, whose customer entrance is located in this mall.

We went to the Queen Victoria Building to look at their beautiful architecture and discovered that…read moreit is connected to a mall. I'm not sure whether this could be considered to be the biggest shopping centre in Australia, but…read moreit probably is one that has some of the best views, especially around the food court just next to the cinemas. Look, while I'm not a big fan of shopping centres, this place does certainly have some charm about it. As I said though, it does happen to be pretty big, so it can be a little easy to get lost, but not that bad because it does happen to be laid out rather well.

Happy 10th Birthday WBJ :)…read more Wow, so fast. My time (lucky) at Westfield Bondi Junction is fab. It does spell luxe. Have been to many parties and shopping events here for work and leisure, as well as doing some private shopping. Lost touch as to how many times I've been here. You can easily spend your dough here if you're not careful. Faves: * Event Cinemas - love Gold Class here, as well as the CATF movie events. Heck, they even run a Christian church service at 10am every Sunday. Can't forget Max Brenners' nearby. * Fitness First Platinum * Swarovski * Mozi Boutique - great, cheap gems for the home. Hey, even brought an iPhone 5 cover here, and it does not break or show any signs of wear and tear! * Room 4 Pets * Virgin Mobile - upgraded myself onto a great mobile phone plan here * Great food including Food Halls * A brand spanking new dentist that is soooo affordable * Typo * Lululemon - especially for free yoga classes (bring your own mat) every Sunday morning at 9am for 1 hour * The Eastern! * A beaut little kids play area in the food court on level 4 A couple of negatives: * Those organic skin bars, and their hard sell tactics. * The smile bar...my teeth were only white for a couple of days. * Pricey acupuncture on the highest floor. I even sold my old mobile phone here when there was a gold place buying them. They're now gone, unfortunately.
