Nothing beats being able to view the island in all its beauty from the sky. This was my first stop upon arriving in Oahu (took an Uber directly from the airport) and was a great way to kick off the trip. I ended up missing the shuttle due to flight delays, but Michael and the rest of the team at GoJump were super accommodating and flexible and eased any anxieties that I had going in. Jakob was a great instructor and a very welcoming and friendly individual. He truly made the experience a great one. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend it. FYI: this place is called GoJump Hawaii. Yelp disagrees with me on this, but that's the facts! This was a bucket list item of things to do and glad to have this one checked off the list at one of the most beautiful spots you can be jumping out of a plane. Staff members were professional and my tandem instructor, Starkey who has been doing this for forever, was awesome. He might have done every diving maneuver possible, including doing a flip free falling immediately jumping out of the plane. The video and photo packaging gets super expensive, but I think 14,000 feet and getting the basic photo and video package for memories is suffice. read more

I believe this is the old business name before GoJump took over, so I guess I'll write my review here. We live on Maui, but our local skydiving business out in Hana is semi shut down at the moment due to the island wildfires and lack of tourists. We originally wanted to take my mom to Skydive out there, but we needed to shift gears and look at more guaranteed options. We decided our best bet would be to fly over to Oahu for the day. Booking was fairly easy, even though I inquired online, and the gentleman called me back at 4AM! LOL. I mean funny but not. I didn't answer but called them back at a decent hour HST hahaha. Apparently they're based in Las Vegas, so when booking, you are talking to their call center. My only gripe with them is they don't offer a Kama'aina discount. MOST tourist businesses offer a Kama'aina discount to island residents, and this was probably my first encounter with a business not offering even a minimal discount. My mom turned 70 on 9/11/23. We wanted to fulfill one of her lifelong bucket list to-dos. She has been saying she wants to Skydive for at least the last 20 years. We figured it was time we took her to do it. She had no idea we would be getting on a plane to Oahu and no idea we had this adventure planned. We pulled up and as soon as she saw the signs she started screaming with excitement! Everyone we encountered from check in to her flight crew was so awesome. We booked the Deluxe package which includes video and picture from an additional jumper/cameraman. The check in girl was so super sweet. Not only did my mom get a Birthday shirt, her package also included another GoJump shirt too. She then met her crew Max, her tandem superstar, and Garcia, her cameraman. Max went over all the details of what to expect and what to do. Garcia was her hype man with lots of excited energy! These guys really took such great care of her! The total experience took a couple hours from check in until conclusion. There were quite a few "loads" as they call them before she actually got to get on. Once they did, the ride itself was about 20 mins or so. They have a big open field they land on right in front of their covered deck area, so we were able to watch her come down. It was so cool! Overall, this was such an amazing experience for her. I'm grateful to her crew who made it super memorable. We received the pictures and videos by email within an hour and were able to send them out to family and friends right away! Skydiving here is an absolute MUST for your Hawaii trip! My boyfriend and I have both gone once before (in Arizona) and we dragged our friends along with us for their first dives. Watching the landing zone while we waited was definitely a treat and got us all pumped up before our turn. The staff was friendly and informative and made us all feel very comfortable and safe. I was tandem with Misha, and Joe took outside video for me. They were both absolutely awesome and made it the most enjoyable experience I could have hoped for!! MUST READ THIS BEFORE GOING!!! I was long debating whether I wanted to go to Skydive Hawaii or Pacific Skydiving Center Hawaii (now GoJump America). After reading hundreds of reviews, I decided to do Pacific Skydiving Center (GoJump). God damn I made the right choice!! I've jumped once before at Lake Elsinore, but it was nothing compared to this. My instructor George was easily the nicest guy jumping out of the plane. Would recommend! He was calm, very clear on what was gonna happen, and when I instructed I wasn't in love with harsh spins on the parachute, he listened, however, he was good at pushing my boundaries after asking if it was okay. He really made this trip an amazing experience. Thank you George. The front desk was kind, all staff were kind. The guy who seemed to be running things was Steve, who is a long time worker for GoJump Oceanside. He knows the game. He knows how to get everyone up and down safely. I jumped out of a plane and I loved it! Skydiving is definitely the coolest thing I've ever done and I picked the most amazing place to do it for the first time! The view from the air was indescribable - I garentee there's no better way to see Hawaii. My instructor, George, was fantastic - he explained everything thoroughly and made me feel completely at ease. The actual skydive experience was a ton of fun, and my instructor / tandem guide (Joe) was awesome. He explained exactly what was going to happen, and we did some practice before the actual jump to make sure I had it down. Super simple stuff, but he kept me at ease. Joe was down to do a back flip off the plane and some spins after the freefall while parachuting down. From what I saw, no one else on my plane did that. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 are the following: 1. I chose the earliest time, and I picked the shuttle option. Luckily, I called the office to confirm something and, at that time, I was told the time I chose does not offer a shuttle (WOW... so glad I called ahead as this would've changed my whole plans for this day on my precious vacation time). I believe their website has been updated since as now you can only select specific times if you want a shuttle ride, but this wasn't the case before. 2. I paid more than I expected to. When booking on their website, I saw that I would pay a standard tandem dive fee and a shuttle fee. Great. I paid the $50 deposit. Then when I got to the actual office / jump location, I was charged more than I was quoted on their website. Apparently, there are some hidden fees (such as a fuel fee), which are not even listed in the 'terms and conditions.' I'm not sure this is legal, but I was just so excited to jump, I didn't think too much of it at the time. 3. After I jumped, I learned (from an employee) that there has been an accident at this location. It happens, but apparently it is pretty covered up. 4. If you take the shuttle, be prepared to stay there longer than your jump. I got there with about 8 other people in the shuttle. I got on the first available plane ride up, but some of the other people on the shuttle had to wait for the next. The plane needed to refuel between our jumps too, which added more time. Basically, I got finished with my jump then had to wait about an hour and 20 minutes before everyone was wrapped up. It would be a more pleasant experience if all of the shuttle passengers were on the same flight/dive to minimize waiting for all parties including the shuttle driver. TL; DR: You will have a great time during the actual skydive, but be prepared to pay more than quoted. You may end up waiting longer if they have to refuel the plane and even longer if you took a shuttle there. Pro tip: ask for maneuvers before the jump if you want some extra adrenaline. read more

[horrible experience - HARASSED by their instructor] 1. The instructor - Misha slapped the side of my butt after putting my harness on. I started to have question marks in my head 2. He then started rubbing my arms 5-6 times on the ground. Let alone on the plane 3. I know instructor have to pull our butt to their crouch on the plane, but he pulled it more than 4 times and sticked to my butt super tight throughout the whole flight 4. He put his LEFT arm around my shoulder from the back like the picture below just to show me the height on his watch on his RIGHT arm. This is terrible. Please go to other skydiving center It is true when people said their service is poor and the women there are rude, "funny", "paying cash or card" said the women at the checkout when I told them what I experienced (the only guy there is willing to listen) This is my first time experiencing harassment, I regretted that I smiled to cover the uncomfortableness without telling him to stop, afraid that I would get an even worse experience. I've always loved being up high, so skydiving has been on my bucket list since I was a kid. I'm not sure why it took me this long, but my husband and I finally took the leap (pun intended) when we were on Oahu this summer. I chose this spot over the other for a few reasons. Pacific Skydiving has great recent reviews, is the only USPA DZ on Oahu, and seemed to be more efficient, especially after transitioning to GoJump. We only had so much time on the island, and I didn't want to spend a ton of time waiting around. My tandem instructor (Max) and photographer (Albi) were great. I was visibly anxious, but they made me feel comfortable. Max made sure I was OK with doing a backflip, more turns, etc. before doing so. Freefall was a bit disorienting at first, but seeing Oahu and other islands under canopy was incredibly gorgeous. The water was so clear that we even saw manta rays from above. The whole experience was fantastic, as evident by the same stupid smile in all my pictures. Albi warned me that I might get hooked, and she was right! What was supposed to be a bucket list item quickly turned into a new passion. I signed up for AFF a few days after. I couldn't have picked a better place for my first jump... my first of (hopefully) many! read more

My honest review- Ok, wait time can be long. They clearly state that on their website so be prepared with snacks and drinks. They did have a food truck so it was very convenient and food was amazing! Just know that off the gate and don't complain about it. Clothing I suggest is leggings, pants, or anything that comes to the knee or below- the harness is rather tight and can rub. Shoes that secure tightly. And jacket is best but any top that doesn't ride up or down too much is great or a T-shirt! You sign papers- (relinquishing all of their legal liability for your safety if something were to go wrong) This isn't a carnival ride, this is EXTREME and not to be treated as anything less than that. You watch a video and then simply prepare to be called and skydive! The tandem I was assigned was Adam and he was absolutely welcoming and made me feel secure with my decision to skydive. I really was specific and told him to NOT count and just jump as quickly as possible, I went first out of my group of 4. He understood that and respected it, I really appreciated that a lot. I felt at ease on the airplane. Small talk and laughs as well as high fives amongst us all was joyous. My friends and I were all stoked! It does have turbulence and is a unique experience so just take it all in! Don't forget to breath. They tell you this. Just deep calm breaths the air quality is amazing and focus on that. Once you jump you realize there is no going back- obviously... so I can only describe it at pure bliss. Nothing even compares. NOTHING. Will I go again?... I am already looking at when! I highly suggest paying extra for the pictures at least! I did the pictures and personal video package. Total was around $475 for jump and all content. For a once in a life time memory that's an extremely fair price considering it takes 2 other people risking their lives to capture and partake in the moment. Magic. Do it! Thank you again ADAM! I scheduled a skydiving session for my friend's 24th birthday and Pacific Skydiving did not disappoint whatsoever. I called to ask questions a couple weeks before our session and the employee was so nice on the phone and answered all my questions. The day arrived and we were originally scheduled for 7 AM but got rebooked to 8 AM. We showed up at 8 AM on the dot, checked in, did the paperwork, watched a short liability video, and then waited about 30 minutes to meet our instructor and get suited up. While we were waiting, the group before us got suited up, and skydived so we got to see them all land before we went up, which I thought was nice. All four of our instructors were so personable, friendly, funny, and informative. I was the only one that was pretty nervous and I am thankful Alden (my instructor) was there to ease the nerves! Once we got to know our instructor, get dressed and given thorough instructions, we waited about 10-15 minutes to finally get on the plane and it was so quick from there. Once you get on the plane, you get to fly over Mokuleia for about 20 minutes while gaining elevation (it was beautiful). Finally, once they open the door to jump, everyone is gone within 30 seconds, there was no time to think but we all felt incredibly safe and excited because of our instructors (who chatted on the way up which eased the nerves). We all landed safely and calmly thanks to the instructors (and weather). Checking out was easy (don't forget you pay tax too) and then we wrote in the instructors' guest books and tipped them. This was an awesome experience and we will definitely be back soon! Thank you Alden, George, Doug, and Max as well as the rest of the team. PS. OMG best experience of my life!!! This was my first jump and it was the most phenomenal view with amazing weather. 360 views of the North Shore; you really can't beat it and no wonder it's one of the top places to skydive in the world. We didn't have to wait that long after we checked in which was great (30-45 min) but keep in mind it depends on weather. Skydiving staff are top notch and make you feel safe and comfortable. You don't have to worry about checking the altitude or deploying your parachute so you can literally just have a blast and enjoy the views. I also highly recommend you do the Ultimate package instead of the Regular package so you can free fall for 60 second. Special thanks to Step, my tandem, and Rob, for capturing an epic moment!!! Even if you have only the smallest inkling to go skydive, just do it and choose no one else other than Pacific Skydiving. I survived!!! I am absolutely terrified of heights and honestly was feeling very nervous agreeing to skydiving. I was initially only doing it to celebrate my 1st anniversary with my husband (this was his idea). When we were signing paperwork the gal in the classroom was calm and acknowledged my feelings of fear. She even made me feel comfortable with the idea of doing the Ultimate jump instead since it would give me more time. I had Rocco as my tandem guy and his instructions made me feel safe and informed. He joked a bit too which helped. I was shaking all the way up in the plane but when it was time to go, there was nowhere to go but down! Once we jumped and pulled the chute, Rocco let me steer for a bit which was pretty awesome. The view is unmatched right above the ocean. Although this is a once in a lifetime experience for me and I will never do it again, I am so very glad we chose this company. I felt safe the entire time and everyone was so friendly. My wife has been begging me to go skydiving for years now as it is on her bucket list. I pushed it off and said next time we are in paradise we can do it; well who knew we'd move to paradise a few years later. A co-worker came into work and said that they went to this place so I mustered up the courage to ask him wife if she wanted a nice dinner or to jump for Valentine's Day, well clearly you know the answer to that. So we made our reservations online. You have to call the day before to confirm and an hour before your scheduled arrival time (NOTE: arrival time is not the same as jump time) to ensure the weather conditions are good. When we arrived we were checked in and taken to a room to start the paperwork and reading the waivers. They showed us a video about tandem skydiving and learn a few tips and the risks. They also talk you through options for elevation and photo/video packages. They have regular tandem (9-11000 ft) and ultimate (14-15000 ft) which is $30 more. The regular is about 20 seconds freefall and ultimate is about a minute. I highly recommend that you go with the ultimate as you can enjoy it more and have more time to get some good photos. The photo/video options are none, handicam (your instructor wears it on their wrist), or outside cameraman. I recommend the outside cameraman as the photos and video show more of you and more angles. Once you finish both the video and paperwork you get weighed in (NOTE: if over 200 lbs (max 240 lbs) they charge more in cash) and get assigned your instructor who you'll be jumping with and camera person if you elected for that option. You will then get your training and suit you up in your harness. If you elected photo/video they will take some before the jump. Ensure to have no loose jewelry or anything in your pockets. Leave stuff in your vehicle and leave the key with your instructor. NOTE: masks must be worn at all times until you are freefalling. Once your group is called you walk across the street and get on the plane. Your instructor goes first and you sit right in front of them. As you go up they will adjust your harness and attach you to their harness. You will put on goggles (NOTE: ensure there are no gaps to let air in). If you are wearing a mask instead of a gaiter they will tie string to it so it doesn't fly off. You get to enjoy the view by looking out at the windows. Their is an altimeter at the back of the plane so you can see how high up you are. You scoot forward with your instructor ensuring to follow your training of holding onto your harness. They do all the work turning you into the door. If you have an outside cameraman they will go first and be standing on the rail. Almost like to trick you the instructor points out the cameraman and you fell a slight rock and the cameraman is gone and then so are you!!! They pull the first chute to slow you to 120 mph. The cameraman will meet you and once you feel a tap by your instructor you put your arms in front of you as you were instructed earlier. Around this time your instructor will pull down your mask for photos. This is great time for the shaka and anything else you want in your photos/video. You'll be focused looking forward during the freefall and then the cameraman will wave and distance themselves as your instructor pulls the main parachute. You'll feel a little but of a yank as you slow down and are in a standing position. Now you can hold onto the harness and look around and enjoy the view on your way down. It was a great day when we went so we saw a great view down with the salty air blocking the view of the island further away. If your instructor lets you and you want you may be able to steer a bit and they may do something to make you go 3 G's and then feel zero gravity (NOTE: you either love that or hate it). Once you get closer to the ground you'll lift your legs up and bend and depending on your instructor either try to walk land or slide in. I did a walking landing and my wife did a slide. Once you land they unhook you and if you did the outside cameraman they'll already be on the ground and capture your landing and meet you to interview you a bit and walk you off the field. Wait until your instructor comes to you to get you out of your harness and give you a certificate to remember your jump here. I got my key back and got my wallet. There are Venmo accounts listed or to scan to tip the instructor and cameraman (everyone has their own box) or drop cash off (there is an ATM there) and a box for tips for the pilot. There is a viewing room to view you video and photos if you requested them. You then decide which package to buy (NOTE: if you selected before the jump to have any photo/video option you must buy something). You then pay for your jump and photo/videos. There is a food truck onsite if you want to eat. This was a great experience and we had a view you cannot beat. This is a hard to write review because I love skydiving and any jump is fun, but I would not recommend this company for 3 reasons. First, every member of the staff was very rude from check in to final payment. Second, I booked as part of a group of 6 and they split 2 of our party into a separate jump for no reason, meaning we weren't all able to jump together. No explanation why and they refused to unite our group by swapping out the others they sent on our plane. The two other people they paired out first group with were willing to swap and were of similar weight, but the company would not allow it. Very frustrating also because our second group wasn't able to launch for an extra hour so we all had to wait around longer. Third, our launch was delayed 3 hours for bad weather. But when they finally did launch, they sent us up in essentially the same bad weather. We jumped through dark rain clouds (a big no no safety wise), and it just wasn't very good. I would have preferred a rain check instead, but they didn't offer that. One last frustrating thing is that they don't allow you to cancel within 48 hours, even if the weather forecast is bad. read more

This review is long overdue since I did this jump 2 years ago and I'm bored at work right now so I finally decided to write but I still remember this jump as clear as day since it was my 21st birthday. The reason why I rated this 2 out of 5 stars was because my sky diving jumper named Connor ruined the experience for me but I will go into details about that later. Soooo on the positive side, The staff were very nice and my videographer named Peg (his nickname for being one legged LOL) he was very upbeat and funny when he was filming me throughout the whole time, he made me feel very welcomed but I'm bummed he wasn't the person I was going to jump with :\ And here comes the negative side that kinda ruined my birthday mood, my jumper Connor seemed moody that day and I was asking him a lot of questions (my coping mechanism) since I was reeaallyy nervous, anxious, and freaking out for my first jump. When he was answering my questions, he responded in short sentences and seemed like he wasn't in the mood to talk. I really can't vibe with that and it turned me off. In the corner of my eye I see my brother laughing and having a fun conversation with his jumper and videographer while I was standing alone and my jumper left me without saying anything and my videographer went to use the bathroom. Fast forwarding during the free fall, so this is where it killed it for me. I was screaming a lot because I really hated that drop feeling and I was having so much and then Connor told me that I was screaming too loud and told me to be quiet because it was hurting his ears???? Ummmm what!??!?! He did 1000+ jumps and he's telling me this?? I do not understand...That's what kinda ruined my day and that was really unprofessional of him. I thought skydivers are already use to and are trained for these kind of stuff??? My bro had a much better experience than me and his jumper was much more nicer than Connor. But overall, at least my video came out good and Peg was a really great videographer but I didn't really like the country rock music playing and the repetitive rewinds in my video so I edited myself. It was my first time skydiving and oh my it was an absolute blast! My sister and I had visited during our spring break and we wanted to do something daring so why not skydiving! A first time jumper I really liked it. Krissy was the best instructor and Jake the best photographer Krissy explained all the things that I needed to know, and eased my nerves. She even told me tips for good photos. Once in the air, everything was so in control. The view over the ocean was amazing: waves, beaches, and other jumpers. The landing was smooth and fun too. I'll recommend it to all my friends traveling to Hawaii. read more

It was my first time sky diving. the idea of it was nerve racking and a bit scary, but exciting nonetheless. once i got there and watched everyone land safely and happily, while some said never again, it put me at ease. the team was great, good happy vibes, good music. the airplane team made the jump pretty easy. they rushed you out of the airplane smoothly so you would have no time to think or get last second cold feet, or say oh s*** this is crazy! you just do it ... i sky dived with ben. he was nice and calming, experienced, looked like he loved what he did. he made the experience very enjoyable. i was amazed by the spectacular view! the sky, the ocean, colors of the cloud, a view truly out of this world. floating in the air was amazing! what's better than skydiving in Hawaii? i was looking at the pictures trying to figure out how ben kept his flip flops on his feet the whole time, and i think i figured his trick ;) thank you ben and max for the amazing experience, definitely would be coming back! read more

Very beautiful skydiving I enjoyed it very much but had a few hiccups. 1st off they weren't precise with their prices and all the prices had a plus sign after them so they were able to charge more. 2nd I paid for the video and after watching it a few times I noticed in the interview part of it that there was a lady who worked there standing behind us flipping off the camera. Normally I wouldn't care about stuff like that but when I'm paying 250+ for a video I don't want to see that in the background. Other than that my tandem diver was super nice along with the girl taking the videos. read more

Loved this experience!! They took care of us. We jumped with Rick and Deb and they were both great. Funny, caring and professional. They made us feel extremely safe. We got their early since the weather was questionable the rest of the day and they made sure our wait wasn't too long. They had to work around weather which paid off since we jumped when it was sunny and beautiful. Couldn't ask for a better experience. read more
