Restaurant inside is called xankia. Hmong, Vietnamese food.

This is the second new location it's still expanding. The seafood department with live fresh water tanks for fish and growing sub divided building within. With great selection for all types of groceries and cooking supplies. The Guarantee bank inside was not so great for my needs. I prefer the main location on Brown deer and GB ave. This whole store is extra cool, so bring a jacket even in the spring and fall. Some of the Asian bakery comes fresh from Chicago so save yourself a trip and check here first. Many of the Asian styled grocery stores have a bad reputation of having product past the good by date or use by date. I'm not saying that the food becomes poisonous or explosive or degrades dramatically but just be aware. Lots of the preserved foods last way past the dates for example. Honey, fish sauce, soy sauce, hard dry noodles. Salted dried shrimp, fish, squid. Preserved plums, radish. Dried mushrooms can be stored properly in a cool dark place. So buyer beware. 3/2015

    Rotten Jack Fruit

Pacific Produce, located at 8340 W Appleton Ave. Milwaukee, WI, has terrible customer service! I bought a whole jack fruit for $21.00. After I cut it open I discovered that it was rotten and rancid. When I brought it back to the store the next day with my receipt, the rude manager refused to allow me to return or exchange it. He stated that It had been cut open and he couldn't resell it. I told him I wouldn't have known it was rotten without cutting it open and I asked him why would he want to resell expired produce? His opinion was that there was nothing wrong with the jack fruit. I then told him there were no signs posted inside or outside the store stating that cut produce is not refundable. After hearing my valid arguments, he stated that he didn't have time to put signs all over the store or argue with me and he still refused to allow me to return or exchange the rotten jack fruit. I have never shopped at a grocery store that did not allow returns or exchanges and I will never shop at Pacific Produce again!

This place is dirty, unkept. Very disorganized. I feel disgusted picking up some much needed items here. Looks abandon at times. Bathrooms looks as if it has never been cleaned since they open.

Yummy bubble tea here. And the location is open although looks can be deceiving at first.

It's really sad that there aren't many options for groceries right in this neighborhood. In saying…read morethat, Sendik's really takes advantage of this fact and raises their usual store prices for this "Fresh2Go" location. Not much more than a convenience store without the attached gas station. Carries some staples, not many, mostly niche products, some private label products, and some fresh produce and meats...but very few. The salad bar is started fresh on Monday mornings and is then covered and let to wilt through the week. The bakery items are usually stale, which means these WOULD have been discounted in a regular store, where at the "Fresh2Go" location they actually JACK the prices UP and sell lower quality items! Most of the staff though, are pretty friendly. Especially to regular, local residents. I am always greeted warmly when I walk by the check-out and even in aisles, when they're stocking, they have been helpful. It's just the shameful use of the highest priced items, that are then jacked up in prices even more for the Marquette Student crowd. Sendik's is truly shady in this regard! Not just the Marquette students live in this neighborhood, there are local area, year round residents who are being terrible gRaped by this exaggerated pricing! The staff even admits that the pricing at the "Fresh2Go" location is higher than their full service locations, and their website proves it as well if you try to order ahead. The stale baked goods and wilted salad bar is so SKETCH...and then they Jack the Prices UP from their full service locations? SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!

A little less choice in Far East Asian ingredients, and little to nothing of interest to South Asian cooks. The assumption might be that anyone shopping here is feeding a clan because it's hard to get only enough vegetables for two humans, but the prices for fresh produce are so good a little waste doesn't bother me too much (especially since I compost). If you are single and not Asian, and think you're okay with American supermarket instant ramen, you need to rethink cheap eats and try some instant noodle soup from here. A few coins more will get you much tastier instant noodle soups, especially the ones without good English translation on the packages. Add some of the fresh vegetables and tofu or bean sprouts you get here and you can make a cheap meal nutritious and well balances. I guess technically bean sprouts are vegetables but noodle soups require more than two added ingredients I think.

Their pork belly and chicken are a great deal and I love trying their new products in their frozen section (they always have the coolest ice cream)!
