It smelled so wonderful it made me hungry too!! I had an opportunity to sit in on my great aunt in an activity. The interaction was so respectful and nice. The activity was crafting a necklace and the coordinator was so patient and helpful. Braswells give me a confident feeling that my great aunt is cared for properly. Finally I realized she needed more than me to help her, so I toured Braswells Chateau Villa. Imagine my surprise when I received a nice welcome upon my arrival. Right away I noticed the spaciousness of the dining room and these beautiful high chandeliers. I got to listen to a resident play the piano beautifully in the lounge. I was impressed with the courtyard in the middle of the building with an elegant stone waterfall. I got to meet the activities director and got an activities calendar. Immediately I knew this was the right place for my mom. So, I moved her in and I am happy to see her thriving and wanting for nothing. Just what I wanted for her senior years. Evening and overnight nurses other than 1 withhold meds and laugh about it if you anger them by complaining. Social services is a joke, activities director has zero people skills. Food is horrible. Administration staff is difficult to get in contact with. House keeping doesn't properly clean patients rooms. Staff goes through belongings as patients sleep. Hoyer lifts barely work, 3 hoyers too 100 patients. Patients dropped while being lifted with hoyers, shower room smells of mildew. There are a few good employees but the bad ones make it harder for the good ones.

I felt as if she were reading from a script that she didn't want to read and that she had made up her mind that we were not the " type " of people whom she would want. From the moment we called Right at Home, in Yucaipa, California, we were treated with respect and concern. The care manager was able to meet with us right away to address our concerns for our family member's care and always makes herself available to accept our phone calls. We contracted for the service of a caregiver at three days per week and were so pleased, with the company, we increased our contract with Right at Home to have a caregiver six days per week. From the start, we were assigned a caregiver who perfectly matched our needs and our loved one accepted the caregiver immediately. We would highly recommend Right at Home.

All Right at Home staff that have helped cover mom's care have been great but her regular caregiver has built a wonderful relationship with my mom. My mom looks forward to her visits and I can see that her caregiver genuinely cares for my mom as well. All Right at Home staff are extremely responsive when I have questions and I truly value their services.
