I recovered at Redlands Healthcare skilled nursing facility, after an accident that crippled both…read morelegs due two large-bone fractures, needing rods and pins, and an ankle dislocation that needed a plate implant. The other leg, a knee needed reconstruction. I could barely put weight a little on one leg when I got there. The Physical Therapy section of the care was excellent. Even when I could barely move the legs they had me getting my blood circulating with stretch bands in bed and lifts. I felt so inspired to heal. We worked so well together, my team who helped with all kinds of care, from clean ups, bathing, the meal plan, the medications and even some fun activities such as painting, word games, number games and searches. There were special events such as ethnic music and dance, an ice cream social, and birthday celebrations. Staff people, nurses and assistents were cheerful and helpful. Administration: top notch. I considered staying longer, but the care was so efficient at getting me back on my feet again that I got to leave two months early! I even went back to visit some of my friends-- both patients and staff, and felt welcome and almost like home! No wonder this place is always full to capacity with people lined up to get in! Thank you to every person who contributed to such a speedy recovery! They made sure that I got home safely, as well. 10/10 I highly recommend this facility!

The kind receptionists that are the first point of contact when you first walk in. The patient care is, "Legendary!" They have been going well and beyond the call of duty not only with patient care, but the genuine dedication and love they show for every single patient. The reality of life, they become family by Love and not Blood. The Confidentiality is surreal. They are NOT giving up absolutely no information until they verify YOU are on the contact and have permission to ask PII questions. Avoiding liabilities is Redlands Healthcare Center Reality.. Mrs Davis is Professional at all times, but she is loving and caring and always goes the extra mile. Not only does she care and love the residents, she extends that love to their families. I cared for my dad 10 years alone as his only child, but since placing my Dad in Hillsong, it's like entrusting him to a sister. Hillsong should be named "Heaven on Earth", God is surely at this place. It's clean, warm, inviting, and full of love. Ms Minda even sings to the residents, and they love it. Mr Richard is always consistly working hard with a smile on his face and gentle as a lamb. This building may be a bit older, but it is very clean. Everyone here is super nice and helpful. I am so sad that it only a short term care facility, as I would love be to keep my mother here long term as my mother seems happier and healthier. I walked towards the front desk and two male patients had been fighting, shouting and screaming. I was escorted to my friend's room and the assistant was attempting to get ABC on the TV, with no avail. The bathroom was for 6 rooms, no locks, toilets too low. My friend's sister-In-law stepped on 2 roaches and at that moment we all decided to leave because this is not a recovery facility it's a death facility. Every time some enters or exits an alarm goes off. Flies were also observed looking for food to eat. The staff were very nice in spite of the condition of the facility. This is not a place where a Veteran should be sent.
