Both expressed sincere apologies for the missed appointment and explained it was due to simple clerical error. This is a bitter sweet review to write as it has to do with the passing of my Mother. The…read morecaregiver and I were exhausted and getting on each others nerves. We both knew Mom would not last much longer. In desperation I called Serene Home Care and talked to Donna (the owner) and she immediately provided a wonderful caregiver who took excellent care of not only my Mom but also my Dad so that we could get some much needed sleep. She came for 12 hours and we were able to sleep and get refreshed. Mom died late the next day but we were still in need of someone to come and give our full time caregiver a weekend break since she was still taking care of Dad full time. Donna handled the whole situation with compassion and caring. When a worker was in an accident she filled their shifts herself and took marvelous care of Dad. When it came time for the memorial service Donna provided yet another caregiver, who was a delight, to help us with Dad who is wheelchair/bed bound. Serene Home Care was truly a Godsend for us in our time of need! I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs short term or long term loving, caring home care.
