Some of that work was duplicated in my house, which was helpful. Every step was excellent. From initial consultation, design (plus follow-up changes), demo, install, and completion/cleanup. I needed some additional information from that engineer, but after a month of trying to reach him, I finally gave up and put calls out to new well-reviewed structural engineers. Out of the six I contacted, Dimitry was one of only two who actually got back to me, and within a timely manner. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to translate everything into laymen's terms that I could understand. Additionally, he spent an extremely long amount of time on my property, looking at everything and pouring over the construction plans. I felt confident that he was considering everything before giving his opinion and suggestions. Lastly, I found his rates more than reasonable, especially for the amount of time he spent on my property and his level of expertise.
